Hiking in a remote part of Eastern KY with my dog who was absolutely fearless , as we neared a large cave, I felt something that stopped me in my tracks. I looked over at my dog and he was looking at me. I said , let's get out of here and we both left in a fast walk. Always trust your gut instinct ........

I had a very creepy experience 12 years ago camping in a tent near Mt. Hood with my ex-fiance. That was the last time I've slept in a tent and, since then I began carrying a firearm with me everywhere I go. I feel comfortable in the woods now that I am armed, but if I wasn't armed, I would feel much more vulnerable, honestly. I'm not much of a people person and have always preferred being in the woods, but after that experience I had, as well as hearing so many stories from other people, I now have much more respect for the woods. The woods aren't to be avoided, at all, BUT you DO definitely need to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings when you're out there.
Edit: One more thing is, ALWAYS trust your gut out there. If you feel uncomfortable and the hairs on your neck stand up, listen to that, don't just brush it off as paranoia.

Something happened to me one day at a place not far from Baysville, Ontario, Canada. I was going through sheds of various antiques in a backyard. As I got closer to the end of these many sheds, I could see a huge forest.
All of a sudden, I started to feel as if I was being pulled into the woods, almost like a magnet and I just quickly got out of there, never went back.

I believe this was a cougar. I heard similar sounds in the alpine lakes of WA state, I was being stalked by a cougar for a quarter mile. It is a deep guttural sound, vibrates your entire soul. I thought it was a grizzly at first.

We had a family of Sasquatchs in 1980 in Columbia County, NY. People saw them including my brother and grandmother. I heard one right behind my grandparents’ cinder block cellar which was only about 20 Feet from the car I was in. It was around 9 pm and my grandmother and mother were standing on the porch about 10 feet from where it was. It was obviously huge as the whoop sound followed by a very powerful deep guttural sound was being repeated over and over again. Then neighbors started seeing and hearing them. My brother saw the family of three by my uncle’s part of Kinderhook Creek in the woods while checking his traps a few weeks later. Decades later a millionaire’s son told my cousin that his parents saw the family of three while walking one evening on their property down by Kinderhook Creek. The kids were forbidden to go by the creek after that and had to play right by their mansion from then on. My grandmother always said she heard an owl every time they were around her house. I found out they also make owl sounds last year.

Kevin,,,I believe u.. Things seem 2 be so different now. There's a "nefarious" element to it. Can't put my finger on it BUT no freaking way I'd walk in the woods by myself anymore. Something's going on. People can call it crazy all they like but the Bible says "we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities .Spiritual wickedness in high places. "

My brother and I had a similar frightening experience years ago near his land in the Buffalo Cove community just north of Lenoir, NC.
I don't really have the time to tell the full story here, but we also heard that similar growl, had rocks thrown at us and even had a few huge tree limbs broken off and thrown our way.
Whatever it was, did not want us there and I believe if we hadn't high-tailed it out of there as fast as we did, I wouldn't be here to type this.
There truly are unexplainable things deep in the forests of this country, and yes, always listen to your inner gut warnings.

I live in the heart of Appalachia. Back in the 50s and for decades on, we lived with bounty from the mountains. I’ve seen and heard a few unknowns in my younger time. To this “old man” it now seems things, reports, such as this are becoming more common these days. I’m wondering if this is due to our shrinking forests and forest land, condensing once broad expanses into parcels? The deep woods of my youth is becoming the backyard of suburbia or commercial development. What you heard is nature, the natural way of what used to be. We are the intruders of another’s home and the once mighty forest and it’s kind.

i saw a 7ft tall black Dogman while out bigfooting in broad daylight, i have seen glimpses of bigfoot, i think because i am female, the cryptids are not afraid of me. When i saw the dogman, i got to the bigfoot research area, i said a prayer in my head, i come in the peace, light, love of God, please show yourself, 5 hrs later i got in my car and was driving down the gravel road to the public road and the dogman was standing by the side of the road like it was waiting for me. At first i thought it was a bigfoot until i saw the ears on top of the head, face was like a german shepard/wolf. It was north of PIttsburgh, PA in Freedom, PA

I am glad you picked up the dog!
Hate it for the fawn; & it’s mother..
I use to love to go hiking.
Thank you for naming the trail; to save other’s.
    There is Dogman out there!
I would hate to run into this creature; or a Bigfoot. Or a Chupacabra.
Glad you were close to your vehicle.
That experience would give me daymares, & nightmares!
You two were lucky, & your dog too..
    That was a pretty trail..
That would probably do me in, to ever go hiking again 😱
Now you know, about those gut ~ intuition feelings..

God bless you both Kevin & Bridgette, I pray married life is agreeing with you both too :0) Take care.

Upon listening to that...I know it was a "Dogman"!!!
I have had 3 encounters with them in the deep woods over a 45 year period:1980 in Barrie Ontario Canada, 1996 on Mt Rainier WA, 2024 in Silverdale WA.
The first one was the growl/roar/howl experience. It was at midnight, on an abandoned farm house, & was about 20-30 feet behind us on a road & pitch dark night. The sound was that sound, but like a megaphone volume, so loud was deafening! It was in stereo type sound too, like 180° all around behind us. The cows to our left lined up to a fence, huddled together in obvious fear, just before the roar, in fear, had eyes widened, like in a movie, when our flashlights hit then. The growl also vibrated our bodies to the core, & caused instant paralysis of the body for a few seconds & we could not move!! It was so strange, & brought on instant feelings of terror & fear, off the charts!! Never felt fear like that in life, before or since, & been in some life threatening scenarios too & should have died. But this growl/roar/ howl...was like a cross between a lion & a wolf!! Terrifying!!!!!!!
So...that IS what you heard!!! I know that sound, from my Soul that got vibrated!! A DOGMAN!!!
Look it up, if you not know, or heard about it. Lotsa Dogman channels on UA-cam too..."Dogman Encounters", the best one, imo, and first year's ago.
Yes...be aware in the woods!! And...that "feeling" you had...that is the exact feeling that hundreds/thousands, have reported on the Dogman channels!! So yes...listen to that feeling!!!😳

I heard a muffled low grade growl in your video. I saw Another video of some people that had the same experience. Its a good thing you two followed your instincts because in the other case, very much the same as yours, they ended up seeing something coming towards them and then whatever it was, sounded highly agitated by their presence. There's definitely stuff going on the woods.

Dude; that “baby crying” is a fawn.
That noise is a baby deer. I’ve heard that so many times in my life; I hunt deer.
The growl? Have you ever heard a bobcat growl? Bobcats have a crazy growl. That’s either a pissed off bobcat; or a cougar. That growl is a big cat of some sort.
But that first noise was dead on a fawn.

I’ve felt like I was being watched a few times hunting. In 2019 while hunting I heard the most unbelievable sound not any normal animal would make. This sound terrified me to my soul. After this sound it was followed by quick whistling not human or birds. Trust me I have been hunting all my life and I have never heard this before. As soon as all that was done I cautiously left the area and went back to camp. Haven’t hunted since.

We have a 60 acre woodlot that attaches to a state forest in the mountains of Northern Pa. It’s a rule of thumb to bring an air horn when hiking or trail riding because we have bear. Usually bear will snort and bang on trees to tell humans they are in their turf, yes, sometimes will growl.

I knew from a kid that the woods near my place had beings dwelling there. They would talk to me mentally to come in the woods to play with them. And it would always be around the time the sun was about to set. And I would follow that feeling that came over me. As I walk in the woods. I could feel when I was getting close to the beings because my body would get goosebumps and the hair on my arms would be standing up. Than I would stop and look I would see silhouettes like a bunch of children playing. Then one would notice me. And would say let get him. And the chase were on. I would be running as fast as I can. Getting scratches all over by the trees and bushes I was running through. And sometimes I go in there would be a very large being that would chase me. I'm sure they could have caught me. And I felt they were good. Because I always when in the woods when that feeling came over me. The woods is a magical place with magical beings living there. I had other encounter I can't explain today. But this thing is getting to long.

I could hear a deep or low long guteral growl.
I am an outdoorsman and used to hunt all of the time.
I have heard and seen many things. We as humans have an instinct deep in us that kept our ancestors alive.
It was a mechanism to warn us of predators and dangers around us. We were hunters but also prey.
There is a reason your ears are on the side of your head and not the front.
It served 2 purposes both for hunting game and avoiding danger. When you are out in the woods or a dangerous area, your sub conscience becomes hyper vigilant to warn you against dangers.
I agree with you when you say trust your gut.
I have heard and investigated things that caught my attention and have stalked predators and hunted them.
A few times I left the area when I was no longer hunter but instead the hunted.
    You were wise to leave.

Great advice! And yes, I can hear the growl; the low pitch makes it hard to hear on video, but it's there. I heard that same kind of growling in the forest at certain times of the year where I used to live. I believe they were migrating as the season changed; and they came past the farm at night during mid autumn. I walked down to the road around 9 o'clock at night to check my letterbox; and as I would walk past a line of very dense, thick trees, I hear the growl and sticks were being thrown at me. But I just kept walking and it stopped. The next day, I found the spot where I reckon they had been sleeping; but I didn't stick around either.

I know you're not lying, Kevin. I would like to know if the area that you were in was possibly a native American territory. The native Americans were involved in a lot of occultic activity, spiritism, etc. I've heard so many cases of people having such experiences as you had in many of them occurred in native American territories. Another thing that can make an area haunted with demonic activity is people in the occult who put curses on certain places. If it isn't a bear or some other wild animal then you're dealing with a demonic entity. These are the last days before Christ's return and there are portals where demonic spirits are coming out of hell and the second heaven to the earth to make their presence known and to strike fear in people. The four fallen angels chained and held in captivity at the river Euphrates will be released on the earth when the Euphrates river dries up, (the river Euphrates is almost dried up). The four fallen angels, when unleashed on the earth, will have the power to destroy a third of mankind on the planet. The inner voice, warning you and telling you not to go there was the Lord warning you. In the future take heed to His voice. Put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and trust in the Lord and His power to keep you safe. No Believer in Jesus Christ has to fear such things; Jesus has the power and authority over every demonic entity in the second heaven and on earth and demons must submit to Him and His name. Speaking Jesus Name in faith has great power over every foul spirit and demon out there. God will protect us as we place our trust in Him but He expects us to heed His warnings concerning danger. I can guarantee you that if you put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ you can and have the authority in Jesus Name to bind and command any demonic force to cease from it's maneuvers against you in Jesus Name and demons, skinwalker, what have you, will split and flee from you in terror. The demons know who Jesus is and that He is the Risen Son of God and they are absolutely terrified of Him. The Lord doesn't want us focusing on demons and looking for demons under every rock but we do need to be aware that spiritual warfare exists and because of the soon return of Jesus Satan has unleashed a flood of demonic activity on the earth. People need to be aware that there are many Warring Angels on the earth sent to protect God's people. Thank you for sharing this video. I believe what you heard and experienced was very real. When you go somewhere and experience much fear, for no apparent reason, rest assured, demonic activity is present, at the same time, when you or anyone else feel an overwhelming sense of peace that is a sign of an angelic presence in your presence. God bless you and Bridgette in Jesus Name, Amen. 🙏🕊️✝️📖♥️🙂

How sad the poor baby deer. Yes it’s our natural intuition. I’ve ignored it before too, and I regretted that I ignored it always listen to your intuition.

You're not alone, sir, I live upstate New York and have heard all kinds of things coming out of the woods.. I once heard a beautiful flute playing in the middle of a pitch black forest... I assumed it Native American Spirit. I'm always with a pew pew when I hike... I'm glad you caught it on audio. I'm glad you're okay

Very interesting and informative video. I was able to hear sadly, the fawn and the very deep growl. It is fascinating and terrifying. I like your advice to listen to your gut and truly will rethink about hiking alone or to long on remote trails. Thank you.

Those who don’t believe are normally the ones who haven’t been into the woods themselves or the kind who simply sit behind their keyboards in front of the pcs or smartphones and deliberately click the dislike button or leave negative comments for any good, useful or positive content, just to do damage to a video’s good ratings. Such people exist and such a world we live in. 😏

I don't go on hikes without my sidearm. That being said I've had a few situations come up that my sidearm didn't feel adequate enough. 😂

I heard the cry from the deer through my laptop speakers. Just put in a pair of ear buds and listened to it again. The cry was louder and I did hear SOMETHING at the point of the growl. It didn't sound like a low guttural growl like I was expecting, but I did hear something. Tough to describe it, kind of like a strong wind, but not quite. Maybe if you were in one end of a tunnel and something was growling at the other end of the tunnel, it would have kind of an echo to it.

When I lived in WA St I had a similar experience while hiking a trail to a fishing hole with a friend of mine. The trail was just over a mile long from a logging road to a hole we fished on the upper Wynoochee River. About a quarter of the way down the trail we both had this strange feeling of dread come over us, and verbalized to each other our feeling. We did our best to shrug it off and kept on when we heard growling but could see what was making the noise. By this time we were way past the point of no return and made our way to the gravel bar and started fishing. While we were fishing we heard two loud noises that sounded like trees falling and one loud thud. About noon we walked back and found a tree a long the trail about eight inches in diameter snapped in half and and an old blowdown about ten ft high stuck upside down with the root wad up in the middle of the trail. We got to our truck and after that never returned to fish that area. Before that we had been there hundreds of times between the both of us and never had an incident.
