This is really sad. I've had the same model since Christmas 2014, still runs quietly, still very clean, and never overheats. However, I admit I've never opened it up and cleaned it up inside. I've definitely kept the outside clean though.
@shno_deela6986 I'm really tempted to open it up and clean it too. I'm just reluctant of the headache it comes with. I took apart a fat PS3 years ago and putting it all back together was very annoying. I'm just afraid with something like the Xbox One, I may struggle getting it put back together again correctly
@16driver16 so I take it you've opened it up before and cleaned it then. Lemme ask you this, how much of a headache was it? Because THATS ultimately what I'm reluctant of. And then potentially messing it up in the process. That's why I don't bother to touch it
@@autolife2785 it was pretty easy to put back together imo it was just the clips in the front peice that gave me a hard time where the front peice was clipped in but it was lifted up a bit. And there is a ribbon cable you can tear by accident. The heat sync on mine was surprisingly clean though and I live in a dusty environment
I know it's been 2 years but to all those complaining about this not being a "how to" video, yes it is, shows you how to schedule a repair visit 😂. If he gave detailed instructions on how to do this, he'd be putting himself out of business 😂. Great video btw!
Did you intentionally not show the complete opening of the computer as you didn't detach the ribbon from the front or on camera at least you didn't, if someone were to follow you vid there likly to break there computer...
i cleaned one and i washed the blastic casing and also the fan and the hitsing😂😂😂😂 and i replaced the thermal paste with HY510 and it work just fine untel this days
It's between 20-30 psi also Makes sure you don't blow the fan in the opposite direction to which it normally travels, this is bad for the motor unless it is designed to operate in each direction.
This is not a "How to" video. I have tried several times to follow along without success. Way too fast and often what you are doing is out of frame. 1:09... what is happening?
Mine is pretty dusty not like this one so cleaned it up as best I can but it runs loud though I know for a fact theres alot of dust in the fan but I'm too scared to actually open it up and clean it!
That's my problem. I'm afraid of the headache it's gonna come with. In my opinion, as an owner of a console, you really shouldn't have to be the one opening it up.
@@autolife2785I open mine up like 2 years ago to change the disc drive and now I’m going to open it up again to clean it up and add paste I’m going to add a temperature display I will have to cut some plastic but that’s fine and I haven’t seen to manny xbox one with temperature display so that’s going to be cool it’s easier then you think just follow the steps
@mr2jz4life73 I'm just a little reluctant after opening my first PS3 a couple years ago that I got used off ebay. I opened it up to replace the thermal paste and capacitors after it got the Yellow Light of Death. It still didn't fix it. I just ended up getting another fat PS3 that isn't backwards compatible. I'm reluctant about going through the hassle of opening a console again with my Xbox One. It still runs fine, but I definitely can tell it's a little noisy compared to how it was day one, and it tends to turn itself on randomly on its own. I just leave it unplugged when not playing it

this xbox was clearly found in a garbage dump, because I can’t imagine in what conditions it is necessary to maintain your apartment in order to collect so much dust even in 9 years)
Very strange to me. I've got 4 consoles: Xbox One (owned since Christmas 2014) Xbox 360 (owned since Christmas 2012) PS2 (owned since Christmas 2005) PS3 Fat (got it used in October 2022, and fully cleaned the exterior to look like new) All my consoles look the way they did when I first got them, so most people out there simply just don't take care of their consoles; it's not that hard.

this is one of the only videos who shows me how to open it and how to close it and shows if it works

How are you playing a really old rocket league version in 2022
It's just a easy game to install and testing the xboxs.
Best video 🎉🎉
my xbox one is older then 7 years im going open it i will prob find alot of dust in it fan spins very loud on some games

the side of my xbox in the grid i see alot of dust inside

Did this person live in a barn?
Lots of pets shedding, after 9 years it builds up alot
still having the issue if i watch video it works fine for longer
butwhen i play game within 15 mins it turns off.
could it be psu?
Have you cleaned the old thermal paste and apply the new one?

What did you use to clean the exterior of the console?
It's the Ambersil Anti- Static foaming cleaner
Next time can you please clean the laser
Well, Xbox booked in for overheating issues, not the laser issue. That's why we didn't touch the laser.
Isn't itt illlegal to open your xbox
Nope. You have the right to fix your own property. Some manufacturers, like VW, violate that, but you will never get in any kind of trouble
Do you fix other people game systems
Yes, we do.
Looks like mine
Would it really hurt you to add a bit of commentary, don't be shy.
😅
I've cleaned mine inside, outside, took out and replaced the thermal paste, yet it still overheats, any tips?
Does the fan speed up
o i need terminal paste i cant buy that bruh
wrong way to put the thermal paste
. in general all perfect
Never had any issues or complaints with the consoles we fixed.
Can I clean my xbox even if I don't change the thermal paste?
Yes, You can but you get better performance if you change the thermal paste.
@@xFixRepairsUK oh thank you btw what brand thermal you use

That is ridiculous how can an Xbox one look that bad
This is nothing compared with some PS5 we cleaned recently
I would never take my Xbox where this animal, who is not careful at all, grabs things as if they were garbage, I better clean my Xbox myself.
