I remember watching the Statler Brothers back in the early ‘90s with my Grandparents and my Uncle. The Grand Ole Opry and the Statler Brothers were a traditional Saturday night viewing at my Grandparents’ farmhouse and watching this VHS recording from 1994 is like stepping back in time. What’s uncanny is I actually believe I watched this show back in 1994. Thank you to the person who posted this video. This is not just a random recording but a time capsule that brings back a lot of fond memories. My Grandparents and my Uncle have long passed but watching this reminds me of days gone by and the ability to make new memories while appreciating my past.💙
RIP Harold. As a kid, he was one of the only reasons I loved watching this show and gained memories with my grandparents. Thank you so much for posting this!
The Statler Brothers had a great show and it made me felt happy enjoying their program, i wished the TNN Network comeback and rerun this show and bring back other country music programs.
I’ve never seen these shows so I really appreciate seeing them now. So thanks for putting them on. The Statler Brothers are my all time favorites. I saw them in concert in 1972 with Johnny Cash June Carter Cash TN Three John C. C. Jr. I was 14 and fell in love with Harold Reid. He was funny handsome talented spiritual. I am heartbroken for Harold’s family knowing how much he will be missed. But rejoice with them knowing he is out of pain and is in heaven waiting. It will not be long!!!
Thank you. I was only born a few years after this aired, but it gives me some insight in the history of the Statler Brothers and television of the 90's. It was strange seeing that Chevy ad with a Chevy Blazer as I currently own a '95 Blazer.

Thanks, it's the only full show I've found so far. There's no catalog of episodes anywhere. The date at the end says 1993. Not shown til 94 I guess. If audio tracking can't be adjusted you need to choose linear audio (mono).
Thank you thank you!!! Best part of my childhood. Loved this watched it from birth Til age 6 when it went off. Would you by chance have the clip of the balloon man or the full episode where they sing Elizabeth??

You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Love the Statler Brothers Show. The best group of all time.
How nice of you to put in the time and effort to share these classic shows.
You're welcome.
I loved watching this show every weekend when I was a little kid. My dad's favorite part of the show was when they sang a gospel song at the piano.

Oh my god, what a trip down memory lane. I used to watch this with my grandparents when I was a kid.

Do you have the Statler Brothers show with the Mgirure sisters and the one with Connie Frances?
Sorry. This is the only show I have.
The lady in red must not have gotten the memo to play along with the hypnotist
This video needs remastering.
Just happy to have it!

I'm assuming they're all brothers & their last name is Statler. There's nothing anywhere that says differently.
Only Don and Harold Reid are brothers, the name Statler came from a tissue box
@@joeambrose3260 I believe you're thinking of Richard Sterban & William Lee Golden who are members of Rascal Flatts
@@monerz1 WTF are u talkin bout?
@@joeambrose3260 The Statlers got their start in 1964 by backing up Kathy Mattea.
@@monerz1 Al, can I some of what you're smoking? Where did they back her in '64, in her kindergarten talent show?
Joe Bonsall eventually replaced Lew DeWitt in 1993.
No, Jimmy Fortune did until their retirement. Jimmy still sings and tours. He is so talented. God given talent.
@@rubyw6503 So, when did Joe replace Jimmy?
