I seem to be stuck between $15-$20 an hour no matter the time or day. I save the declines for those 3 out of 10 offers of $2 and $3. Pretty easy to stay around 75% ar in my area since all the restaurants are close to each other. My cousin dashes in south Florida, and it is hit or miss for him as well.
The bottom line is no matter how they wanna put out the base pay, I only accept orders that are decent. If it’s a crappy order, I decline it or let it time out. It doesn’t matter I don’t care how they wanna play this tip game, if it’s a good order, I’ll take it if it’s a crappy order high mileage for four dollars forget it they can keep it. The customer can pick up their own crap or make a hotdog.
Once I hit $300 in a week, every single time without fail i stop getting orders and it takes 10-15 minutes in a busy area to get an order, which ends up being a 0$ tip 10-16 mile drive. Its rigged for sure
Slowly but surely, and if no one speaks about it they'll take $1 here and $1 there making them millions but not allowing dashers to make that little extra that might help pay for gas.
Dude, the vast majority of orders, probanly in most markets Don't pay $2 per mile. So if you only took $2 per mile you STILL wouldnt make any $ because you'd only accept a few orders on a good day anyway.
They're pretty often but if someone isn't patient enough and/or doesn't value their time they won't see them. I make 25-30/hr everytime I go out between Doordash/spark/uber because I DO NOT waste my time.
@@JPPRESSUREWASHING Its true in areas that arent flooded Ive noticed... Goes the same with spark and uber eats much more... DD pays ok in far away areas where there are no drivers...
Not even one day and it wouldn't take just flat out stopping... Dasher's need to just have standards and more non-tip low pay orders will sit and go cold. That is something Dasher's have 100% control over that could really make DD do something.
In my market is 80% ar for platinum and gold. They took away dash now for everyone. You have to schedule at 3am every day. If you are not at least silver which is 60% you can't even schedule. Fuck doordash.
Yup! I noticed when I was ordering doordash in the last month it takes way longer to get food now too in my area, probably doordash trying to farm "EXPRESS" delivery or they are so keen on making people deliver no tip orders that they don't realize they're ruining their customer's experience by limiting dashers.
Yeah, I use to make 200 a day during a 10-12hr shift, its gotten so bad on DD , I made 19 dollars on monday and 15 today, been running other apps lol... Soon to get a w2. Always have more apps for back up.
Doordash will never offer base pay that actual dashers looking to make good money want to see, all good orders like $15+ with good miles are the customers tip or a batch order. If they increase fee’s customers will be less likely to tip.
The customer told me he tip me 16$ and he wanted to make sure I got tipped so I completed my order in front of him and I was paid 16$ with my own tip $ they paid me now customer is going to sue them they are stealing from all of us so so bad
I’m lucky if I make five dollars an hour I’ll go out for two hours and I’m lucky if I make $15 it’s called summer slow down. The kids are out of school and it’s all cheapskates and non-tippers for the most part. Every once in a while you get a nine dollar order for 6 miles.
all of this will be fixed once doordash decides to use drivers as employees instead of as contractors, then they'll have no choice but to take every offer
UE is horrible in my area. Offers all day long such as $7 for 22 miles. The really high paying offers have already been picked up and 10 other drivers have gone to that restaurant looking for the order.
If the order is ready sure but you have to take into account every possible thing that can slow you down, I allocate a 20 minute estimate to every order the also includes the time waiting for another order.
@@JPPRESSUREWASHING Yes the average deliveries per hour is 2.4....Whether you can deliver an order 2 miles away or 6 miles away faster depends in no small part on how long it takes to pick up the order.
JB! I've started a group to evacuate Abdullah's family through Uber and Doordash tip. Your small contribution can make a big impact. Would you like to join? 🥀😔

✨🗣I hate that they stopped the promo for $3.50 3.00 and 2.50… last year in South Carolina

Gonna price themselves out of business at the expense of the drivers.
Yep, that's how they legally steal tips. They are trying to bankrupt the drivers.

The only way to increase the pey is to all driver stop work for them for at least one day and they will apreciate driver hope this change on future

DD would just roll out a "Hiring all people for $20 an hour guaranteed!" program and immediately replace us all.
✨🗣let’s do it..make a flyer and post it on all social media’s platforms, for nobody dash for a week
Let’s get it together find a date and let’s do it

They also need to add 7$ minimum tip.

After 6 years the offers are so bad now, they will be easy to quit!
They upped it 10 more percent? Damn

Same thing in Eu with Wolt(DoorDash is owner of wolt)
Spot on bro 👌 🆗️
Maybe they're planning on going to take the customer tip and add it as a base pay so it look like the company itself is paying you more direct

Its what I sensed too, I mean its all just tip money if that, Id not be surprised on some orders they are shaving off tip money on big orders.

You should probably get it then

$5 orders? That's a no for me. Risky customers.
