Great video. I've had mine a couple of months. It's an amazing tool! Using the tools on it for their purpose I've had no issues. The bits maybe soft but I never use them for anything serious enough that would require stripping them. I like how versatile everything is, from twisting fencing panel wire in a pinch, to tightening a loose bolt, or cutting plastic straps. Recently I picked up a digital torque adapter for my oil changes. During the set up I didn't have a small screw to take out the plastic bit separating the battery. So flipped around the Phillips to the No. 1 and took off the cover and got it out. Keep up the awesome work!

I carried on for years as my only tool. Pretty beat up now, but still working perfect. It triggered my EDC addiction.

The addition of a 3D printed hammer/striker attachment from Etsy makes it that much more useful!

It's the one I use because it fits in the watch pocket of my jeans, my other multi tools are too bulky. Finally got a reason to use that little pocket. Btw there's a spring release on the side of the bit holder.

I carry one of these for work but only for the smaller size. It’s uncomfortable in the hand very stiff and overall unpleasant to use. Looking to replace with a smaller pliers.

I don't get the love for these things. I requested and got one for Christmas a couple of years ago. The pliers are almost useless, the bits are soft, the clip is on the wrong end and keeps the greater mass at the top. One thing I will say is that the blade is sharp. If it weren't a gift from my wife, it would have been gone.

That's why you have a toolbox to have purpose built tools that are indeed better but this is a jack of all trades and a master of none. Convenience comes at a cost. If I was working construction I would never ask anyone if the had a Skeletool.

A smaller multi tool with a pocket clip is a great idea but it’s poorly executed. The ergonomics are terrible the pliers don’t work well the clip/bottle opener is completely unnecessary the bit placement in the end of the handle is terrible. It’s just not a very good tool.

After using it for many years me and alot of other people find it a useful and durable tool. If you dont like it, no big deal, let me know if you find somthing better I'd love to give it a try

@@Justaguy-e4w I just found a use for these things that I'm sure that most of y'all already know about. They make good nose hair tweezers. I ain't even joking

Got one because it looked cool but the more I used it, the more annoyed I got with it. Knife is great except for the stupid holes that get dirty when used for food prep... So annoying to clean! Also, the cutters in the pliers aren't that strong... Not sure what weak wire you're cutting but it will have a hard time cutting fencing wire. LM should have upgraded to the replaceable cutters on the Rebar. Lastly, not so comfortanle when gripping down on things.

Valid, although mine has been great. When you know the limitations and use the tools for their intended puroose its awesome in a pinch. I wouldn't use a tool like this for cutting fencing wire, but the pilers are strong enough to twist the wire that's wrapped around the panels holding them together, which is one way I use it. I would just get deicated small bolt cutters or wire cutters depending on the gauge. If you need one for a task like that get one with replaceable wire cutters that are meant for the gauge of wire you are cutting. I will say they have updated the cutters to at least cut coat hanger wire. Also, I believe Leatherman updated the action in the knife by adding a copper washer so it should be a bit smoother. Something like this is for out and about situations and general everyday use nothing serious like a Leatherman Surge. I could go into more implications but it depends.

Pair of vicegrips and small pocket knife is a way better option....
