Idk how people carry all this stuff, I hate having anything in my pockets haha
Literally. I get 1-2 things a pocket
@@m70c00l lol, it's weird because when I don't have things in my pocket, I always feel like I've lost somthing. 😅
Luv my skeletool also
Your edc setup is solid, what fixed blade is that?
Its a Steel Will Censor with camo form wrapped around the handle. A nice budget fixed blade.
Nice Gear and video brutha 😎🔥
Appreciate it!

That 1shot reload 1shot was nice
Appreciate it! Always trying to get better.
Can’t go wrong with streamlight
The best right there hands down!! I own three!!
Great video. I've had mine a couple of months. It's an amazing tool! Using the tools on it for their purpose I've had no issues. The bits maybe soft but I never use them for anything serious enough that would require stripping them. I like how versatile everything is, from twisting fencing panel wire in a pinch, to tightening a loose bolt, or cutting plastic straps. Recently I picked up a digital torque adapter for my oil changes. During the set up I didn't have a small screw to take out the plastic bit separating the battery. So flipped around the Phillips to the No. 1 and took off the cover and got it out. Keep up the awesome work!
Appreciate it!
Been carrying mine for more than 5 years. Best edc on the planet
Got one because it looked cool but the more I used it, the more annoyed I got with it. Knife is great except for the stupid holes that get dirty when used for food prep... So annoying to clean! Also, the cutters in the pliers aren't that strong... Not sure what weak wire you're cutting but it will have a hard time cutting fencing wire. LM should have upgraded to the replaceable cutters on the Rebar. Lastly, not so comfortanle when gripping down on things.
Valid, although mine has been great. When you know the limitations and use the tools for their intended puroose its awesome in a pinch. I wouldn't use a tool like this for cutting fencing wire, but the pilers are strong enough to twist the wire that's wrapped around the panels holding them together, which is one way I use it. I would just get deicated small bolt cutters or wire cutters depending on the gauge. If you need one for a task like that get one with replaceable wire cutters that are meant for the gauge of wire you are cutting. I will say they have updated the cutters to at least cut coat hanger wire. Also, I believe Leatherman updated the action in the knife by adding a copper washer so it should be a bit smoother. Something like this is for out and about situations and general everyday use nothing serious like a Leatherman Surge. I could go into more implications but it depends.
I carry one of these for work but only for the smaller size. It’s uncomfortable in the hand very stiff and overall unpleasant to use. Looking to replace with a smaller pliers.
I don't get the love for these things. I requested and got one for Christmas a couple of years ago. The pliers are almost useless, the bits are soft, the clip is on the wrong end and keeps the greater mass at the top. One thing I will say is that the blade is sharp. If it weren't a gift from my wife, it would have been gone.
That's why you have a toolbox to have purpose built tools that are indeed better but this is a jack of all trades and a master of none. Convenience comes at a cost. If I was working construction I would never ask anyone if the had a Skeletool.
A smaller multi tool with a pocket clip is a great idea but it’s poorly executed. The ergonomics are terrible the pliers don’t work well the clip/bottle opener is completely unnecessary the bit placement in the end of the handle is terrible. It’s just not a very good tool.
After using it for many years me and alot of other people find it a useful and durable tool. If you dont like it, no big deal, let me know if you find somthing better I'd love to give it a try
@@Justaguy-e4w I just found a use for these things that I'm sure that most of y'all already know about. They make good nose hair tweezers. I ain't even joking
I carried on for years as my only tool. Pretty beat up now, but still working perfect. It triggered my EDC addiction.
The addition of a 3D printed hammer/striker attachment from Etsy makes it that much more useful!
I have seen that! I definitely need to get one.
I cut the bottle opener/ carabiner. Perfect edc.
Agree, think I'll do that.
Does it define scissors and a saw? 'Cause I need that shit
Pair of vicegrips and small pocket knife is a way better option....
whatever makes you happy
More bulk no thanks
First! Love the distress / patina.
If you want one here you go: amzn.to/4gkpV0i
I would wish for skeletool Arc... one handed use is mandatory for my work... and thats very tricky with the sceletool
It's the one I use because it fits in the watch pocket of my jeans, my other multi tools are too bulky. Finally got a reason to use that little pocket. Btw there's a spring release on the side of the bit holder.
those scary black things are banned in canada bc government said so to reduce crime... crime went up with them last year in my city using them... now they banned my vector and im not giving it back lol
Shurefire 6PX single output! No brightness levels or modes. Just click on off & momentary on off! Keep it simple stupid!
Keep water in the car? Man it's -20C/-4F where I'm at, if it's winter stuff is going to freeze :P Some thoughts: -LED flares last a lot longer, I prefer the puck kind. 4 In total, one 150m in the front and back, one on the hatch one on the grill. (+Something to start a fire, kinda hard to do with a LED light) -An actual snow shovel. (More efficient for snow) -Degreaser spray, works wonders for more traction due to removing oils and grime accumulating on the tires. -Headlamp is usually a lot moree handy when you have to do stuff. -NAR Ready Heat 4-Cell, air activated heating blanket, same as thee hand warmer but laaarge. Used one last winter when someone had driven off the road and did not have what they needed. Works like a dream. (Tow truck was about an hour away, blanket lasts for 12 hours) Combined with a wool blanket and you're set for quite some time :D Pricey for larger ones, but I snag them from work. (Haven't seen the full person size on the civilian market tho :/ )
Thanks for adding to the tips! I few things in my view. Yes the water will freeze the idea in the winter is take it from your house on a road trip or when it's sketchy out. The led pucks are nice but they still run on batreries. I use to run a snow shovel but found a real shovel works better when the snow turns into ice. For example the harding of the slush/snow piles plows creates. I do mention a headlamp. I like the blanket idea. I will check that out.
Want one? Here you go. amzn.to/4gse001
Cool practical video. Enjoying it so far. I'm trying to think of a reason to get into a separate gps. I use to have something like that back in the day for my windows mobile phone.
I love it, I actually have a video coming up about it in the future.

Californian here, my grandparents and mom went through the big one and have always drilled in me the importance of being prepared, including keeping medical supplies and water in my car. This made me realize that I am woefully under prepared with what I have. Thank you
I'm glad i could help! With winter now, a lot of people forget to throw in blankets, warm clothes, shovels and more. You don't want to be caught with a dead car in the winter! Mabey I should make this video.
My favorite EDC light is the Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA. I moved to it from a microstream then went to a Macrostream and then back to the 1L. It goes everywhere with me. The light I carry with it at work is a Wurkkos HD01 and my reach out and touch something/nightstand/see what the dogs are barking at is a Wurkkos TD03. I like both of the Wurkkos lights but they are kinda new to the lineup so I can’t speak to their durability. The Streamlights I have I can 100% say that they are very dependable lights.
100% agree with that microstream. I've gone through 4 of them so far. Little tanks with a big ol light for a AAA battery. I'm currently carrying one of the Olight Arkfield Pro. I love it's flat profile and additional options, but I'll still grab the microstream 8 outta 10 times.
Really helpful video. Love the angle as well. Thanks for sharing🙏
Appreciate it! One of my lights was out and I didn't realize so it's a little dark lol.
@ didn’t even notice! Looked great haha.
Good EDC setup thanks for sharing
Thanks, no problem 👍
nice edc!!!, greetings from Argentina
Thank you
that pistol reload was wicked smooth
Thank you sir
@StrategicGearSolutions all these guys are foolish to assume you can't fight hand to hand just because you're proficient with firearms hahaha I don't see the logic
I don't either
I bet you couldn’t do nothing either he’d probably knock the hell out of you
I bet you couldn't throw hands to save your life you look like the type that would get butt hurt about getting beat up and shoot somebody
I'm sorry you feel that way
Why would he you throw hands to save his life when he has a gun? That's like a mechanic using a hand jack in his driveway when he has a 5 thousand dollar lift in his shop. Usually the first people to speak violence and act tough like you are the ones who go hide when things actually pop off.
Good stuff bud
Appreciate it
Consew 206-rb5, it's the best investment I've ever made. Can sew everything from canvas pants to scuba webbing. Also have an old Kenmore with a zig-zag function, between these machines I can fix everything from light delicate textiles like tents to ten layers of duck canvas or multiple layers of scuba webbing. If you can only afford one machine, a Sailrite LZ-1 is about the best bang for buck machine on the market.
hell ya! I love getting this input from people who actually know what they are doing. I'm going pin this comment to help others out.
@@OutdoorStrategicGear Appreciate it! I'd like to follow up with a couple things if I may. Firstly, I learned a lot from the US FAA's parachute rigger's handbook. It's a free and very comprehensive wealth of information that translates very handily to gear repair. (Edit: Found the link: www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/prh_change1.pdf) Secondly, small detail about the Consews - look for one with a servo motor. The clutch-style motors are very very fast and are made for manufacturing and production (imagine running your textiles through at like ten or fifteen miles an hour haha). The servo motors sacrifice some speed but can apply a ton of torque at very slow speed, perfect for gear repair and smaller stitches. They're also way quieter if that's a concern.
I use a very similar black bag i was issued years ago. I also use an old pair of handcuffs to secure the rifle in the truck. Not perfect but better than leaving it free to take.
that's a solid idea for a cheap solution! i might steal that.
I carry right of center line and just make sure it doesn't flip over. Never have to take it off and put it where the brown crown draws.
I use to think having a wife that could sew was sufficient. But my sewing requests often receive lowest priority.
I've been sewing for over 40 years. I do web gear projects and repairs, I've made new seats for my bobbed M35a1 and done other projects in canvas for it, I tailor my wife's and my own jeans to fit and even sewed her a denim purse this year. I STRONGLY recommend considering old Singer sewing machines. I have two, an "Improved Family" treadle model 15 from 1883 and my beloved 15-90 built in 1948 (its 2 years older than I am). I like the model 15s because they are SUPER STRONG and can run either with an electric motor OR can be converted to treadle. These can handle any project in denim or canvas you can throw at them ... and a lot of leather projects as well. These machines are fairly simple to run and very good for beginners to learn on. Singer made a Model 16 which is a Model 15 with a deeper "throat" for larger projects. Buttonholer or zig-zag attachments are available for each of these straight line sewers. AVOID the 15-91 if you want a machine you can convert to treadle, its motor is "built-in" rather than simply attached. If you don't want to convert it ... the 15-91 is just as amazingly strong as the rest of the Model 15s and 16s. These machines were made all in the millions over the world, they are wonderfully built and built to be reliable and tough ... and easy enough to operate by anyone at home. My Singer from 1883 sews the same stuff I feed into my 15-90 all day, every day. These machines can be found in abundance a CHEAP (from $100 to $200) and Locally (No Shipping!) on Face Book market place. They can be pricey on Ebay, where everybody thinks they have a "rare, classic antique". Singer built these in the millions and there are still millions of them around because they don't wear out ... so they are definitely NOT "rare".
hell ya!
Been sewing for decades. Strongly suddjest a hand Speedy Sticher and if you have the money, a leather or very heavy duty sewing machine.
I LOVE my old Speedy Stitcher. I have done a lot of work with mine. If I had to "get out quick", and couldn't take my beloved Singer 15-90, I would definitely throw the Speedy Stitcher in the go-bag.
how to decide between strategic and tactical? Sewing is cool, but not as cool as welding.
I'm not sure i understand the question. Welding is something I want to learn too.
you can do both
I've only been sewing for 40 years, but I've been welding (gas, stick, MIG and TIG) since I got out of the Army in the early 1970s. Yes, you can do both ... and having as many skills as you can is a VERY good idea.
Sweet. I've been thinking about trying sewing lately.
Probably one of the best return on an investment I have ever made.
