Nice to see them all compiled together. As someone who wasn't around for it, I have tonnes of nostalgia for Rogue Trader. I badly want a Shuriken Beakie. As an aside, Chaos Androids have been dropped into the lore in Genefather, so thats nice.
The Carnifex, a device used to drive a bolt into a dying patients brain. This was later abandoned, when it was discovered that a bolt pistol can achieve similar results.
IIRC the modern Apothecary nathrecium still has a similar mechanism in it, or at least some versions of it do? From in-universe perspective it saves you amno and doesn't damage the Marine's progenoid gland. From out of universe perspective, a similar device (a "pistol" with a retractible pneumatic-powered metal bolt) is used in slaughterhouses to kill cattle - draw your own conclusions.
daumn showing my age but i have about 7 of the 10 mini's you showcased there or at least a variations in terms of the tech and medic marines. just missing the squat heavy armour (i do have some the squat minis but none of those ) the custodes one and spacefarers
Heyo, S&W! I was wondering if a review of the 3rd Edition Witch Hunters codex was in the works. It's my all-time favorite Codex of 40K due to the Acts of Faith shenanigans and giving my Canoness and every squads' Veteran Sister Superior an Eviscerator.
NEVER TIRED OF THE YELLOW
Future Tool Box that has enough space inside for a casual lunch while out on the field…😊

Brother A Skull's helmet kinda reminds me of a pilot helmet so I like to think space marine pilots wear them

These models have so much more charm and character than gw's current line.
I love old school tech marines.
Just imagine you're fixing up a Dreadnought with a giant wrench.
I can't help being amused that the original Custodes went around shirtless because...why not I guess?
'yer pillerstodes
I believe their helmets incorporated some kind of forcefield or similar.
Loved this series, but had missed a few. Compilation much appreciated!
Sooo are the 3rd ed codex compliant series still a thing? Or is that pretty much finished?
i appreciate the content, you both make this hobby so much more amusing.
