Can I apply luts to individual angles an output them to the live stream? I am thinking about using 1 computer feeding keynote, and 3 Canon cameras in Log that need a color correction to Rec 709, so I cant apply the lut to the feed, I just need it to be applied to 3/4 of the channels.
is there a way to do the switching via a hardware remote control? perhaps via custom lanc command or something that i can make DIY remote with arduino?
This is amazing Take my money One thing though Please add in the future and overlay screen So I can overlay one video over another for exact positioning (Say for freeze frame transission) Regards, Rick
Any chance this could be used to record a TWO camera shoot in 4k? That would motivate me to buy straight away, as I do 2 camera 4K shoots very often, but rarely have a need for recording 4 signals. FWIW, I would love to see the new OS on my old Shogun Inferno. I like it on my Shinobi!
@@LQban0 Yes, punch in previews would be nice, too. I shoot 4K most of the time, so HD capture doesn't warrant buying this, but being able to monitor 2 cameras on one monitor would be great.
Those XML files will open fine in Resolve, which is why it wasn't mentioned in the video I'd say! Not too hard to convert those files to work fine in Premiere
I am using 3 sony cameras at the same 24P 1080 rez and frame rate. I want to bring in my laptop with the decimator HX out of the laptop is set same as cameras , each through their own decimator lx converter at 23.976 .This doesn't work, Asthe Shogun7 sees that output as 1080p 50HZ regardless of scaling set. How id the still title or laptop brought into this demonstration?
Ok. Nice. But something only work when recording. Why? Like if I want to see full screen a feed before “cutting it” I can only do it when recording! I want to be able to do it also when not recording. When it is no recording and I try to see a feed fullscreen it goes “on air”.
I am currently running Davinci Resolve in HDR project settings with Dolby Vision enabled. When I try to send SDI signal from my Blackmagic Video card as ST2084 PQ signal to Shogun and when I try to set my HDR Type in Output Option to DOLBY I am getting warning "Dolby not supported by output". May I know whats the reason for this and because of it My LG OLED C9 doesnt trigger Dolby Vision mode and only supports HLG or HDR mode when I route through Shogun 7 running latest firmware 10.41. Any suggestions or help would be of great support.
My surgical (olympus s-400 )4k camera has 4 quad sdi outputs. Can I use this for recording of all 4 sdi output to a single 4k screen recording? Does all 4 sdi output merges completely?

Thanks for your comment Robert! When the Shogun 7 is in 4X3G switching mode, you can connect a signal feed as well as dual and multi camera inputs. If this helps, please let us know. Atomos.
Can I choose to have the Shogun 7 output the quad view via SDI or can it only output the switched program? I want to have the option to use this as a quad switcher OR a quad splitter, as on multicam commercial productions, clients often want to watch the quad view at video village, and I'd love for this monitor to be applicable in those situations as well as a live switching environment.
Can not connect 2 sources in dual link mode. Or switch mode. As a test, I use my Sony FS7II as a source with the cameras SDI 2 and SDI 2 output, wired to my shogun 7 SDI 1 & 2. The image does not show up in the Shogun 7. However, if I look at single view, both sources works fine. Any ideas?
Solved! My FS7 outputs 1080p on SDI1 and 1080i on SDI2. All sources needs to be the same format. And I actually need to go with switch mode instead of dual link.
Hi, the Shogun 7 and Sumo 19 are the Atomos products that support the switching feature. Sadly older 7inch monitor/recorders like the Shogun Inferno do not have this.
ATOMOS thanks for the reply. I would be happy to buy a firmware upgrade if you ever offer one. The shogun inferno works to well to end up in an electronic waste pile. Absolutely loving filming in prores raw, I film BMX and live stream contests. Streamlining my bag and removing my switcher when traveling sounds like a game changer.

I love the video but the beautiful music underlay is a bit high. A 5-10dB reduction will sit very well.

Yeah, that's the feature I need the most compared to smallhd. I was really on the edge of spending an extra $2000 for this on the smallhd 703

Can Atomos Shogun Inferno record 4K RAW with Sony A7iv via HDMI?
just bought one and My atomos does not show hdmi in the input. Cant change from sdi. What i am doing wrong?
Are you in multi-input mode? HDMI input is currently only available in single-input mode.
the green screen is the same as for the live delay, how do you enlighten me
Can i ask ? when i use prores RAW the color profile is not flat, color profile slog 2 not working. Is it problem ?

no XML for adobe premiere??
was wondering the same thing
Any chance of actually recording dissolves to the program? Not really interested in just getting dissolves as XML files in FCPX.
sure

how can i recover delated footages from the atomX hard drive ?
Any way of setting up three 1080p camera 'angles' from one 4k source and Switch between those?
please give is switching function on atomos shogun inferno!
I want this so bad, better than Apollo?
Apollo has the 3 record feed (1080) out of one 4K feed. Having this and/or four 1080 streams
just bought shogun 7 today , multi cam not working blackmagic hdmi to sdi converter
Can sdi input and hdmi streaming simultaneously?
sure

when you say which recorder will support Sony fx 9?
how many months have passed and still no information
Does these devices embed the audio onto the HDMI output so if you wanted to do a live stream from it?
Yes you can use audio from SDI 1 and 2 for that.

Its a shame it doesn't output the QUAD screen via SDI

Looks like the DUAL 4K mode will only work if the cameras and monitor are all gen locked together
Did you get your dual 4K mode to work without gen locking the cameras? I am trying to and have not been successful

Is this one a different Shogun 7?
My understanding is no, it's not different. You need to upgrade the firmware and your good to go.

1080p?
Pls do 4K at least.
Allan Sh 5 4k streams? What kind of SSDs are you rolling? ;)

Well. Now I see why only up to 1080P.
But if one stream of 4K60P 4444 is possible, 3 streams of 4K24P 422 should work as well.
I'd vote for 4 1080 close ups of 1 4K feed. Or 2 from 2 4K feeds.
Could you please consider accepting 3 or 4 1080p close-ups from on 4K feed?
It will work with 2 4k signals.
