Easy way to Ganache a Cake/Sharp Edges - Tutorial

    🐻Ingredients :
    White chocolate
    Heavy cream/Whipp cream/non-dairy cream
    color
    for quantity i have mentioned down
    🐻 Cake size 7 x 6 inches (7" diameter 6" height)
    🐻 For this cake I use 600g chocolate and 150ml cream
    🐻If you are staying at cold place use 3.1 ratio for Ganache (means 3 parts chocolate one part cream).
    If you are staying at Hot place then use 4.1 ratio to make this Ganache.
    🐻This measurements for WHITE chocolate ganache only.
    🐻 For filling I use this Ganache recipe

    Thank you for the simple tutorial... my white candy melt don't melt by itself do you know why? It remain grainy n sometimes I try melting in microwave n double boiler for 3 mins n still nothing ...

    I'm watching this and thinking why have I wasted my time covering cakes in buttercream when it could have been ganache??
    Are there times when you would recommend against coating in ganache? It just seems generally sturdier than buttercream to me!

      @@PinkMamaBear0421 yes, I don't know why I haven't tried using it myself, as I don't like fondant and buttercream can be very soft!

      Maybe buttercream makes much more quantity n in my country the chocolate n whipping cream are expensive but I too recently trying ganache ...

    Can we store this in room temperature.. adding fondant on the top? Usually I do the coating using whipped cream..if I kept it in fridge it will be spoiled.. will this help in this case?

    Has anyone found that ganache in a hot climate melts when compared with buttercream? I want to try this out for a cake I’m making but it’s quite hot where I am and a bit worried as I’ve not done this before and don’t want to mess up the cake!

      If weather above 37° then u use 5 parts chocolate 1 part cream
      It won't melt
      Leave at room temperature

      I used compound chocolate, u can use any chocolate which contains 26 to 29 % Cocoa Solids.

    I made ganache using 3:1 ratio but my ganache was very thick..so difficult to spread.

      Add more cream.. It depends on weather.
