Fantastic. Could you do Ridin the storm out by reo Speedwagon live version from their greatest hits album? That song is a ripper and would love to see you do it and a lesson
I don't know for sure but Ed was usually on his strat... And to me this definitely sounds like a humbucker lead. And Gary wrote the song so I figure it's Gary. Plus it's his style of Lead for sure
Fantastic, love seeing the non hit Skyrnyd.
Nice!
Awesome thanks
Sweet!
Absolutely fantastic have a good weekend ❤😊

Thanks for the recommendation. That was the very first solo I ever figured out by ear but it was the studio version.
never even heard this tune, what a tune
Nice job Tom, that SG sound perfect. What effects, drive, etc are you using.
Thanks and sorry I don't really have a simple answer for you.. you can read about it here. www.leadsolo.com/lead-solo-blog/what-effects-am-i-using
The SG is accurate too cus on the first Skynyrd’ album there was a ‘69 SG and then Gary used a ‘64 SG a lot in his career
Was the lead Ed or Gary. Anyone know?

How about them keys?
You know, the black & white ones... ;-)
If you want to get the sound from the original version ( skynyrds first ) / just tune all your strings down flat.
Right on Tom...Right on...That's too funky for a white boy...Great job on one of my top Skynyrd songs on the list...and the list is long...
