Simons right hand is the little man I always imagined running beside the car when I was a kid
Ive always though the same. Im trying to learn alot of his stuff
Thought I was the only one 🤯
So is he friends with the little man that turns the light on in the fridge?😁
Omg 😊❤
4:10 , holy mother of god, that switch up and triplet run is so damn tight
Wow Simon, thats sick, very cool
Le Fay Basses ❤️❤️❤️
Its pretty cool when artists ignore all comments except ones from "important" accounts

I came to see the bass and stayed to hear that asstight playing.
Right? BTW Love your Channel too. Simon, can you make a video on how you approach your tone? I use a PODHD pro (like Soulhenge) and I'm really happy with my personal tone, however, It would be really interesting to see what you look for on frequencies and such. Thanks for a beautiful playthrough, I've must have watched this about 40 times by now.
All the Dudes playing on this track brought their damn A game !!!
It's awesome being able to hear the Bass Tapping part at the forefront
When I first saw you live, it was during the Plintervals tour.
A lot of people didn't have a clue of who you were, I was one of these persons. I knew you were good (cause the tracks you played required to be good) but there was this one single moment, lasted 1 second, everybody stopped playing, you did a explosive slap riff, the full room stopped doing noises, we all looked at each others like "did this really happen ?"
So now, I know who you are haha :D.
😅
Yeah, I have seen one of these moments too in my hometown, it's was fuckin sick and I didn't have a clue he was in a band I listen to really often: The Helix Nebula... Best concert of my life with Plini...
I guess it was “Libra”, because the bass line while everyone else is quiet is F*cking Badass
Same here man. I knew him from Helix Nebula… and watched him live when Plintervals opened for AAL. This guys is insane
S I C K
Dude I would loveeee to see you on the road with plini and angel vivaldi. THAT would be amazing! Probably better than watching satriani vai and malmsteen in my opinion! All you guys are truly inspirational! Thank you all for such a beautiful contribution to the world of music!
🤢

4:26 Oh my lord
BEST PART OF THE SONG
My word.
Luigi Masella Don't forget 4:50 my dude
Bro that hand work at 4:12 gave me goosebumps. Reminds me of one of the first shows I went to where someone did something similar to that and the speakers blew me away. I was in shock. This threw me back.
if the victor wooten style finger playing isn't badass enough you throw in those harmonics at 4:35.. i heard it and had to to see if it was a mistake.. then i realized its on purpose and gives you that additional octave without having to move your left hand past the 7th/10th fret..masterclass playing!
Not 100% sure it's a harmonic. Just looks like he's fretting higher notes on the right hand. To play a harmonic in that position he'd have to false harmonic and I don't see him doing that. Lovely bit of playing though.
Isn't harmonics, just higher notes
Troy and him are genuinely one of the most tight and groovy rhythm sections I've ever witnessed. They almost stole the show when I saw Plini live.
This is one of those songs that gets better and better.
The best thing about your playing is that it sounds like no one else. Plini had taken instrumental and progressive music someone new. Love it.
That little extra lick at 3:32 👌👌👌 Had to be on the album version too lol 😛 Amazing playing
A flawless technical masterclass Simon.
More please!!! :) Your bass playing is stupendously marvelous.
HERE HERE!
Just got back from their show and I immediately watch this as I reach home...clearly once isn't enough...
I really love the way you mixed the track. The way the bass impacts the track is way more obvious here, but I think I'd say that I prefer this mix to the original.
Does anyone else transcend to a higher dimension between 5:11 and 5:30, every time? Just me?
You're not alone man
Jasper Moore yes
Indeed bro, every time.
Yes first time I heard it was incredible!
for me since 3:58 till the end of the song, works just lovely, i got chills everytime... insane. The first time i listened to this was just something else.
So clean man, your tone is so tight too. Best part is you're also this clean live, which was amazing to see. Keep inspiring me man!
"BASS PLAYER!"
Madness of many tour, terminal West, Atlanta Georgia, best concert of my life.
4:28 AHTAPPADABASSS
I didn't understand till I got there haha
You are everywhere. How and why, you bass god you?
You sir, are an incredible bass player.
Every time I come back to this video I am impressed by your technique. The seamless transitions from slap, to finger picking to tapping and back again is just awesome to watch.
Oh Goodness Lord!
How di...but you... I couldn't eve... And you also... (sigh).
I can practice a million years and yet only aspire to reach this level.
So clean, it makes me want to cry.
You, my friend, are exceptional!
God bless you, Simon.
What an absolute BEAST! Discovered Plini a few months ago,but boy, being a bass-man myself....that guy really blew me away! Still does to this day. So good to see young musicians achieving this level of craftmanship. Thanks for the music!
You guys are progressive pioneers, just so amazing to watch and hear what you guys create
Tight playing there! That's awesome.
The riffs go hard in this one, one of my favourite Plini pieces. Nice one!
