The best thing about that bend as well is the positional knowledge Plini has to be able to precisely make those notes stay in key with such a small bend.
@@samliu6133 I've done it. A good portion of the time the string breaks outright, or the gripper loses it's grip and it goes out of tune. And of course the real key is making sure you keep enough whammy going to make the string continue to sing if it's holding a note.
Can we all just appreciate that this mans wife cares enough about music to actually make an innocent comment about guitar aesthetic. I bet half of you date some dirty cheeto cleavage GED having gas station clerks.
The instant effect of this section on the crowd and on plinis face too... Definitely one of the most cosmic riffs ever written... Crusade from trivium has a section like that in it at one point with mad sweeping fills and a almost boss level fight intensity riff in the back
Don’t let that stop you! I have a boden standard with a tremolo and it does the job perfectly! Yes they’re expensive but I’m in love with that brand of guitar!
@@walterclements6175 nah, I just came here if I wanted to hear it lol :D and after I while I just stopped, but I'm checking it out right after this vid ends! So thank you!
Watched these guys perform live with their own bands one night and then Plini played with Intervals the whole album they recently released close to that time. It was amazing. Brought tears and joy, absolutely will not forget it!
im really surprised aaron and plini dude dont make an album together since they vibe off each other so good. hell even combine both bands for a sick ass instrumental ep or anything. i would pay lots of money for that. both of you guys are hands down amazing guitarist of my time. thank you for all of your music guys.
There's many live play through videos available like this but this particular video makes me watch these two dudes again and again. There are so flawless...... This video kind of inspires me to practice my guitar more and more...
Harmonics and true modern composition… Plini. American and Australian contrast in its core profound difference. And both equally fantastic. And both from different dimension.
As a plini huge fan that listens this at least 10 times a week , i can tell this was waaay off the studio recording. But then again , how can u play these things perfectly. You have to be in perfect condition. Your fingers must not be wet from stress and your mental state must be perfect. I would really like to see them nail it though !
Bruh what... You do know studio recordings are not one take right? Anyone who not only A) plays an instrument or B) sees alot of live shows knows that things are almost never perfect and that's the beauty in live music.
There is so much talent out there, I love it. Good dynamics, not just all easy shredding, and I say easy because the standards are so high these days people can play nearly anything out there.
Playing guitar with another person that is equal or understands music like you is one of the greatest things to experience.
I have yet to experience that.
well yeah, its pretty amazing :D
To have someone groove with you on that deep level...it’s an unparalleled feeling!
@@davidhenrylake2047 me too

Imagine having Aaron Marshall as your rhythm guitarist
Dude fr
Exactly, omg!
I like how Aarons sound is more like Plini than Plini here
lol I was going to say the same
Bart Laan Enjoying it and trying keep up processing all incoming data same time.
dat mid tone
@Jorge Torres just noticed that...why would he do dat tho
The song sounds better in neck
it's because the tone of the plini is horrible in this video
PLINTERVALS = over 9000
Allan - AMACHii - Biong - these two should ad David Micic and Jakub Zytecki to a song! That would be so sick.
That playing is beyond the level of a super saiyan! Lol
Aaron's rhythmic riffs are🔥🔥🔥
Aaron's rhythmic riffs are.... actually plini's
sooo crisp and bold
Yeah, he should have been louder than plini and his boring mottif guitar lick that he constantly brings in as if it is cool.
@@chadmarx7718 he plays it better, plini sucks man

The plintervals bromance is real. Love these dudes. On my bucketlist to see both live.
Joshua Saw them last year with Angel Vivaldi and Save Us From The Archon. You must go, it is certainly something to behold.

5:48 what a majestic harmonic!
And then Aaron is like: "yeah bro, that was sick" - love these guys.
5:35 that bend scared all my locking tuners
The best thing about that bend as well is the positional knowledge Plini has to be able to precisely make those notes stay in key with such a small bend.
2step bend amazing

How? Its a 9' string played by a chick. Try Steve ray vaughn bends
@@samliu6133 check Steve ray vaughan. Thats bending, , not that crap
It's rare that you're watching a Plini video but all the while you're watching the rhythm guitarist and smiling. Majestic playing oof
Aaron is having the most fun here lets be honest.
Well, Plini does play these like every show
Nah, Plini is just a deadpan kind of guy.
Wrong, its the guy wearing black😂😂
Watching this video with my wife - her comment: "Someone should tell this man his guitar is missing some parts. It needs more wood at the top!!"
I love the look of Stradbergs. They look so clean.
Your wife doesn't know jack shit.
Oh no it doesn't look normal. Everything must look normal. Everythi g must look the same. If it doesn't that is noteworthy!

Nobody's gonna talk about 4:06-4:33? that transition part is like GOD level, so much emotions.
I listen to this everyducking day that’s my favorite part those dives are perfect
4:19 is like taking a track to absolutely another level. And the 4:33 kicks in. Cosmic!

Ahmed Azhar Ikr Aaron was on top of it XD Rock on dude

Ikr?? Aaron’s tone is sooo good
4:35 such emotional transition! amazing
I never get tired of watching this!...It would be awesome to see Plini do a Jazz fusion project with Dennis Chambers and Victor Wooten
Yeah that would be incredible!
Regor Byron That'd be insane
How have I never thought of that
That would be great I will love to see a lot of improv going on that could be sick
Regor Byron or Tetsuo Sakurai and Virgil Donati.
I wish someone would look at me the way that guy in the black T-shirt looks at these guys
Hahaha. Well I did enjoy it thoroughly with my big head lol
5:49 that guy directly beside Aaron Marshall’s reaction to that harmonic is pure bliss. And tbh that moment is money.
2:06!!! What a gorgeous moment! Makes my heart and ears happy
5:48 No one has ever made a harmonic look so good.
steve vai does it cooler every show he plays and i'm not even into that guy.
You need to see more musicians my friend.
Joe Satriani. Look him up.
I agree :-) Very smooth.
no, not even him or no-one, plini only.
The Aaron's rhythmic riff are just incredible but the solo of plini is also incredible
Aaron plays so clean!! Would love to hear him on Plinis next record. Love his solos also. Listen to Intervals song Libra, such genius soloing.
