omg thank you so much. I just bought a new ssd sata to upgrade my laptop for more storage but idk why its now show in my file. This video really help me to fix this problem.
Great concise instructions, thank you. Do you have a video for inserting a second SSD into a Window 11 Laptop from a Windows 10 Laptop? without deleting the files
Yes in fact I have, How To Use A Laptop Drive In Another Laptop ua-cam.com/video/x77_flwgSqo/v-deo.html however if you insert a boot drive into a computer without formatting it is not easy to browse the files, so move over them eventually and format and put them back like advised.
I face this problem after delete part override - DiskPart has encountered an error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). See the System Event Log for more information. what do I do?
Hey, thanks for the video. My computer says virtual disk service error. Delete is not allowed on the current boot, system, page file crash dump or hibernation voluble Thanks
Thanks for the video, I used info to format an SSD 16TB for movie storage. Seems to work find however when I plugged it into my laptop the laptop did not see the drive. Both are win11 ?
Very good video. I did everything you said. But i did a slow format because i wanted to wipe it completly. But now it dosn't show anymore. Anyone can help me ?
When I try to delete partition 1 the only partition it says “DiskPart has encountered an error: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. See system log for information”
Do I have to reformat old ssd that has already been formatted on windows 10? Or is the formatted ssd compatible with both windows 10 and 11. For example I have an ssd just for steam games, can I plug into my laptop that’s on windows 10 and then my pc that’s on windows 11 and vice versa or do I have to reformat it?
Ive got a problem. Im trying to install windows 11 pro on my 233gb hdd and it says to format to fat32 i do that and it say to format to NTFS. Im confused. Why the back and forth?
i bought an ssd from amazon...installed windows 11 but now want to send it back as i need a bigger drive..How the hell do i restore it back to factory settings ie completely cleaning it ready for return to amazon
@@GMODISM thanks for your reply. I gave up and tossed it, I have three others.. That one was from AMZ and was plugged into a PS4- every step I followed on many vids it just wouldn’t work. Must have been fried- Thank you though.
The operation is not supported by the object. The specified command or parameters are not supported on this system. This is what it shows after I try to delete part override
I installed a new SSD in my Laptop and its total space is 465GB out of which 110GB is unallocated which I am unable to add in other volume and also I can’t create new volume with it because it shows “there is no enough space on the disk to complete this operation”.
@@GuySmithSmoke if you just wanna nuke the entire system, use redkey usb or dans boot and nuke Or perhaps you are looking for my clean c drive tutorial
@GMODISM nah I want to format my son's new gaming pc and it only has 1 ssd drive. As far as I know at the moment, I can let windows format (factory reset) or move the OS an external HD and format it like you did. will windows automatically set a 85% cap on memory and other setting like you do with the new simple volume wizard for optimization? (Translation and grammar and knowledge is bad)
I clearly state that you MUST select carefully and that you WILL NOT be able to recover the files, please listen carefully and watch the full video before doing anything incase you get distracted.
This reminds me of old UA-cam. No clickbait, no auto narrated story, no bs. Just real content. Thank you.

You're welcome!
Couldn't you just open Disk Management?
Disk management doesn't let you delete the partions windows auto creates, even if you access it via and another windows install on another drive.
Very good video. I did everything you said. But i did a slow format because i wanted to wipe it completly. But now it dosn't show anymore. Anyone can help me ?
How long will you have to wait if you cliked no on the quick format? Just on average?
Oh, well depends on the size but it's in the hours, more than one hour usually but less than 10 usually.
Thank you so so much!!
You're welcome!
Simple and easy 😆👍
Sure is!
Thank You!!!
Thanks heaps buddy, That helped me alot, cheers.
Glad it helped
i have a personal disk partition and a system disk partition and i wanna format the system one, would this work properly ?
You can delete any drive except the one you boot from as that OS is doing the deleting
really appreciate it
Thank you for your help, I was beside myself in anger trying to figure out why 2 of my 4 Tb weren't registering!
When I try to delete partition 1 the only partition it says “DiskPart has encountered an error: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. See system log for information”

Its compatible but has to be cleaned, performing a quick format does remove all files so it's clean to be filled again.
It tha man brotha. Thanks.
Mine shows up in BIOS and in device managment but not in terminal or disk managment😢

Thanks a lot!!!!!! :D

Watched over 50 videos but none of them us helping. Can you please help me?
thx m8
I cant open windows terminal admin is says "windows cannot find 'wt.exe'.
Use powershell admin instead then
But why do you need to delete a disk? Im confused, the disk that I would delete would remove all the date from my laptop would it not?
Yes ot would remove everything, if you want to keep anything IDK why you would format it?
it doesn't work it tells me it has been deleted but once i open it , the part still there
Make sure you remove all partitions on that drive before formatting it!
@@GMODISM I did,still doesn't work
Make sure your running windows CMD (dos) as Administrator.
How about ssd with os? I cand format it
Yes, but you need to format it FROM another os, you cant format a drive from itself because it would delete the program that formats it
What if you only have 1 drive?
@@GuySmithSmoke if you just wanna nuke the entire system, use redkey usb or dans boot and nuke

How to REFORMAT an SSD or hard drive on windows 11
Hey mate, in fact I am REFORMING a drive in this very video, so please just follow these instructions
that is why I remove old partitions, so it would be more accurate to change the title to reformat actually
This video will be helpful for when I do reformat a SSD
looking at the thumbnail... what's on those hard drives
Those are SSDs mate ^^
good video but you went to fast for a beginner. YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE PAUSES
I try to remember that, this video will in fact be remade
It was simple. Thanks for your help!
