@Alyska Because you were curious; that short teaser for Part III was intentionally tagged onto the end of Part II as a way to let the fans know that there was to be another movie coming in a few months. Part II came out in November of 1989, Part III came out in May of 1990.
The actor who plays Biff is perhaps the most loyal supporter of the BTTF franchise. He's at all the BTTF reunions with the other actors and signs autographs and tells stories about the making of the movies etc. He has long since realized that BTTF and his part in it is his claim to fame and he is forever grateful. And in real life he is a very nice guy and happy for his part in history through BTTF. 🙂

Fun fact: The movie was very close to predicting the Cubs winning the World Series. The Cubs did, in fact, win the WS just a year later than predicted. They were, however, in a position in 2015 to be spot on when they were so close to making it to the World Series.
Future things in this movie that actually happened: the rise of ubiquitous cameras; use of unmanned flying drones for newsgathering; widescreen flat-panel television sets mounted on walls with multiple channel viewing; video chat systems; hands-free video games; talking hologram billboards; wearable technology; tablet computers with fingerprint scanners; head-mounted displays; dog-walking drones (people walking their dogs with drones), and payment on personal portable devices. Also the Cubs winning the World Series, except they won in 2016
The best part of this at the time was it closed the 80's that Fall of 89 with part II and the summer concluded the story of Summer of 90. Also Charles Fleischer from Who Framed Roger Rabbit (Roger) did a cameo as the old man who gave Marty the Almanac idea. This was when movies were just about fun.

I have to disagree with the "trailer", it's got a whole lot of spoilers. I'm usually on board with anything you have to say, especially your Star Wars comments but on the trailer for BTTF III you're plain wrong.
If what you say about the deleted scene with Old Biff fading away is true, I can see why it was deleted because this would create a major plot hole as it was the entire world that was changed and not just Old Biff. Now that I think about it, the year 2015 as shown on screen should have ceased to exist the moment that Old Biff went back in time...And since Doc Brown was committed to a mental institution prior to 1985 he would have never made the time machine, thus creating a time paradox that could destroy the entire universe!
Actually, buying the almanac wasn't what caused the problem, it was having Jennifer along. If she hadn't come she wouldn't have needed to be knocked out and the cops wouldn't have carried her away, and Marty and Doc could have left immediately after throwing away the almanac, leaving old biff with no way to give it to young biff. Well, that and not locking the damn doors on the delorian.
You gotta give props to old Biff, though. Considering the guy was such a moron in his youth, he clearly got smart enough to work out how to set the time circuits and that the DeLorean needed to reach 88mph to time travel withohut ever being told how to do it.
DOC: "At some point today old Biff will show up to give young Biff the almanac. Above all you must not interfere with that meeting. We must have old Biff believe he has succeeded so that he will bring the DeLorean back to the future"... So if Marty had grabbed the almanac while old Biff was still in 1955, old Biff wouldn't have bought the DeLorean back to 2015, leaving Marty and Doc stranded in 2015 and possibly causing a time paradox.
Old Biff would have brought the time machine back, but before leaving he would have filled in younger Biff on a lot of future sporting results, who'll be president, etc, so he could still bet on things and become rich even without the almanac.

Hi, Alyska! Thanks for reacting to my favourite movie. You asked: Q: Why doesn't Marty just take the Almanac from Biff/Mr. Strickland, even if it risks him being noticed? A: Remember, Marty is still in the past, so he still has to be mindful not to change the timeline, by interacting with anyone as it could cause a paradox. For example, if Marty had stolen the Almanac from Biff, out on the steps--and Biff had noticed--he 100% would have chased after Marty, which means that Biff wouldn't have been there to be "decked" by George, and George would never have kissed Loraine, and Marty 1 and Marty 2 would have ended up unexisting :o Sorry, I just love talking about this movie lol
And mainly, Biff wouldn't have taken the Delorean back to the future so that Marty could get in and go back to where he was in the 1955 (again). If he had interfered with old Biff giving it to young Biff he'd vanish from that past timeline.
9:30 It's funny how the new generations reacts to the "doble tie" of Marty and ignore the video call. In 1985 video conferences didn't exist as we know them now. There wasn’t flat screens too.
I worked for Nike research and development back in the late 80's, our team made those shoes you see @2:38... we made 7 pair altogether and even got one pair returned infused with blood to us because Michael Fox cut his toe in one of them
27:20 You need to listen to what Doc said better. He said to let old biff believe he succeeded giving young biff the almanac so he could bring the DeLorean back to the future.
Part 2 and 3 were filmed back to back and because he had to do so many scenes as present day-Doc, they invented the explanation of Doc having gone through medical procedures in the future. That's why Christopher Lloyd literally rips his old person make-up off his face to film the rest of it with his real face aka the one he used in the 50's scenes.
The second one is nostalgia for me so that's why it rates higher for me. When it comes to the third one no spoilers but there's Easter eggs that connect all these films
The voice of Roger Rabbit appears twice in this film. He plays the old man, in the future who is trying to give Marty the Clock tower flyer. His second appearance in this movie is in 1955 when Biff is picking up his car after it got cleaned from the manure. He is the guy who Biff paid to get the Manure out.
This trilogy is like a single film divided into three parts, there is no "best" or "worst" ... it is a classic, a masterpiece of cinema. You can look at it endlessly without ever getting tired, indeed the more you look at it the more you will discover new details, it is full of them…everything is connected to perfection, from start to finish. I hope you watch the 3 part soon, you will like it even more 😉
@@garyjbaker exactly!!! Fun Fact: Nike actually created Three (3) Versions of the shoes Marty wears in the year 2015. They had an MSRP for over $250 but now are worth at minimum $10K USD. My Uncle used to work at Nike so I have a pair of the 1st Gen and they have a charging cable to power up the lights in the ankles. The Third (3rd) Gens were wireless and had a special Charging Dock. Just thought I'd let you know about them. They are my favourite shoes of all time and I probably won't ever sell them due to their rarity. They are known a the NIKE AIR MAG and the 3rd Generations can be purchased for as much as $50,000 USD.
These movies are fun. The thing is you can’t go into the future to see yourself because you just left. Details they missed while making time travel movie.
Fun Fact: The shoes Marty wears are the Nike Air Mags. Props Store LA have one of the remaining screen used props; it’s bolted to a bit of wood, as the speed pacing was a practical effect. However, a few years back Nike produced a limited number of fully functioning Air Mags. These went up for auction, with all proceeds going to Michael J Fox’s Parkinson’s Foundation….one of the pairs went for $100’000. Not bad for a shoe that Nike design Tinker Hatfield says isn’t intended for actual use 😂 Also, Crispin Glover was recast for BTTF2 & the actor playing George McFly wore a prosthetic. This resulted in Glover successfully suing the producers of the films. Oh & the boy playing the arcade machine is non other than Elijah (Frodo Baggins) Wood.
Jennifer asks a couple questions about her future and she gets knocked out by Doc. Marty asks questions and buys the sports almanac and is basically partly to blame for the bad 1985 yet he doesn't get knocked out by Doc
I was hoping you would comment about Marty's kids looking just like him. Michael J. Fox played both his son and his daughter to have the spitting image of their father.
Just watched this on Patreon in its entirety. Happy to be a new subscriber and Patreon supporter. I personally think 1 is the best and 3 is a distant second.
i remember watching part 1 when i was 10 and 14 when i saw part 2 both in theatres. Its weird that alot of people dont realize Jennifer isnt the same actor , personally i like the girl in part 1 , Elizabeth Shue is a good actress though.
Whoa this is heavy. I'm so happy you watching the second film. Marty fought Griff and the bullies by getting them framed destroy the courthouse without the son being accused. Great Scott! 1985 is been messing the timeline altinate by the 50s bully Biff who's rich married his mother and rules Hill valley. Their only hope is getting back to 1955. Fought Biff, burn the almanac book and getting back to the future which saves the best trip for last but instead they may have gone to far by going to 1885. What a cliffhanger. To be concluded. Nobody calls you and me 🐔chicken!
It would mess up their age differences resuling in Marty's sperm system not being in the same time period with Jennifer's egg system, so there's that...
I'm not sure if you noticed but they redid the final scene of the first installment with a new actress to play Jennifer. Elizabeth Shue was offered the role because the original actress that portrays Jennifer had some contract disputes and couldn't film the second and third installments/parts. I think Elizabeth Shue did a phenomenal job even though she didn't have to many speaking lines. The More You know 🌈
My friend who work for sharp electronics back then was the one that sold them the LED displays those big ones on the front part of the displayed dash of the DeLorean
They filmed 2 & 3 one after the other; if memory serves they were concerned about Fox growing up. ... if you watch again, right before the finale when future Doc is fighting turbulence, his elbow hits the control for the time circuits, and changes the destination to 1885.
1. It's not often sequels hold up to the original, but this does. Thank you 1980s. 2.This one is the best of the bunch. The next one is inventive but I'm not really into the story. That said, it is the perfect wrap. 3. The stunt woman that flew into the glass window partially missed and injured her arm. 4. Michael J. Fox also played Marty's daughter. 5. Sammy Hagar, "I can't drive 55"😎 6. Good thing Biff shoots like a Star Wars Stormtrooper🤣 7. The tunnel at the end is the same one they used for Tune Town in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"
They actually did sell those self lacing shoes eventually, Nike MAG. And when I first saw this movie as a kid, I legit thought an almanac was a book that tells the future 😂
What's funny to me is that, because this film was made in 1989, 2015 has no trace of the internet. None whatsoever. Well, unless you wanna count those video calls.
I'm curious if anyone else feels the same as I do with time-traveling movies that regardless if they have a happy ending or not, I feel like I'm watching a nightmare where nothing can be returned to normal. Back to the Future 2 was definitely an intricately plotted movie with a lot of fun futuristic touches; even though the Jaws series never made it past #4. However, even if an original timeline is dystopian or Hellish, it's still reality. Anything caused by alternate timelines doesn't feel realistic; hence that nightmare sensation as if the characters were living in a Matrix-like virtual reality. Perhaps I'm thinking too much into time-travel movies but I've never been able to shake that negative feeling while watching one of them. Again, I'm writing this because I'm curious if anyone else feels the same. Thank you.
Plot holes: - Doc took present Marty to the future, old Marty shouldn't exist. - Doc didn't need to take Marty to the future just give him instructions on what to do. - When Biff steals the almanac and goes back in time, when he returns back it should have been the new future. - When they go back in time to get the almanac back, why not just wait till he goes to sleep or in the john. The End
1- Marty would eventually returns to his own time around the point he left, meaning future Marty exists without issues, see 3a. 2- Could do, but I think there's a reason he had to come along in person (forgotten if they mention why)... also kinda boring movie if they hadnt gone along see point 4 lol, also also, given all 3 movies, the events in the movies are all basically predestination paradoxes at their roots, ie time travels invented and all the events from all 3 films HAD to happen and would/will always happen like that in order, thanks to the focus point prime event of the invention of the time machine and the ripple events it sets in motion to get the time lines in sync and balanced and end up with the end of film 3, and given it was being seen from the travels perspective it wasnt instant for them or the viewers so it feels like everyone had choice in their actions when really it was more like them surfing a shock wave of possibility with no real choice or free will. it all happened as it had to, because it all happened that way, a so so convoluted way... phew thats a mouthful. 3- Old Biff left 55 prior to young Biff winning any money, so you could argue he wasnt effected like Doc and Marty who were simply going straight to 85, which causes issues... if they went to 55 from 2015 then to 85 it might have kept them on the same timeline, but going from 2015 to 85 jumped tracks to alternate future branch which was forming while they were in the prime future... if that makes sense. 3a- Its also kinda hard to figure out if changes ripple or stick around in flux for a bit ie a change can happen but it takes a while to reach the future or create a branch, such as Marty in film 1 taking a while to begin disappearing when you think it should be instant where/whenever he is in the timeline the moment the past was changed (his siblings vanishing first might be due to them not having time traveled so the changes where taking longer to find him and bouncing all over the time continuum to catch up to him in 1955. So many ways to look at it id simply wave a hand and claim 'weirdness of time travel' to any minor issues or plot holes personally... if you dont it does your head in, fun but a pain in the brain. 4- Would have been a boring film if they had :P
- In the theory of multiple universes of infinite possibilities, a Marty from any universe will return to whatever universe we are currently in, because of the infinite possibilities. - This is true. One would think that Doc would have gone back in time to stop Marty's accident which altered his future instead of stopping his kid from getting arrested. However, Doc did say he analyzed all future events and pinpointed the family's biggest demise to Marty Jr from joining the Griff on the robbery. - See explanation one - Marty and Doc should have confronted future Biff back in 1955 before he hands the Almanac to young Biff. He's an old man, so I think the two of them could have taken future Biff on.
@@NZBigfoot 1. No, because he took the present Marty (and Jennifer) to the future, they broke their own rule about altering time and creating new timelines. How did Marty and Jennifer end up having kids and getting old? They both went into the time machine and should have been declared missing. 2. Yeah there was a reason why he had to come because apparently, he looked exactly like his son in the future and could impersonate him to refuse Biff's proposal. Which again could have been easily resolved by just telling Marty to watch out for his son in the future. Yeah, despite it being a boring conclusion it's still a plothole. 3. There was a deleted scene where Biff returning back to the future was killing him causing him to vanish. It is said the new future he created, was a new timeline where Lorraine ended up killing him when she found out he killed George. UA-cam it. But my point was Biff giving himself the Almanac would have altered time once again. Even Doc showed Marty a newspaper and was sent to the insane asylum, if he that's the case then Doc should have not been able to create the time machine and would have been stuck in the future or vanished from it.

This movie came out in 1990, and we knew flat screens were coming, they just hadn't hit the consumer market yet, and weren't thin.
@@godmagnus I saw the movie with my friends at the cinema that year, and I can swear we hadn’t seen a flat screen and a video call till then
@@godmagnus Flat screens came out in late 90's, like 97 or something so I highly doubt people knew they were coming when it was 1990.
The second act is crazy. Marty McFly and Doc Brown are stuck in a nightmarish, alternate 1985.
23:36 - That tunnel is the same one used in Who Framed Roger Rabbit from 1988 as the entrance to Toontown, also directed by Robert Zemeckis.
Oh god how absolutly stuning you are babe. Love your tattoos, they are such a beautiful
All of them are fantastic and I'd recommend playing Telltales Back to the Future after finishing the 3rd one!
It uses the plot that would have been movies 4,5, and 6 :)
"Needles" is also in Kenobi, Flea from "the red hot chili peppers"
I think I'm one of the only people that didn't realize that Jennifer was a diff actress at first
Wow, seen this movie so many times since 1989 and never knew Marty and Junior have different coloured eyes
The tunnel Biff is chasing Marty in is used again as the Tunnel to enter Toon Town in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Right up in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
Oh man that's hilarious, watching that adorable girl freak out about the almanac ahahahahaha 😄 and she got excited everytime she saw a dog 🥰
"The Happytime Murders" with Melissa McCarthy (SNL) (w/puppet sex & silly string).
This 2015 future is basically 80s exaggerated with a Sci-Fi effect
Try to imagine 30 years from now which would be 2050s
I have never noticed Marty’s double tie, nor Alyssa’s tattoos before.
Oh, you haven’t seen Jaws? Well, I guess that should be something we’d like to see you react to.
Is that pizza for ants?! 😡😂 I got that reference. 😏
Alyces violent nature comes out “Time to kill”!!😂
I really like your reaction too the old classics. How can you have missed them!
0:48 He still needs fuel for the car, this just covers the Flux Capacitor. No more plutonium needed.
You did notice that the actor that played Jennifer changed from Claudia Wells to Elizabeth Shue, right?
Not alot of ppl noticed the starcar from the last starfighter, it was a prop left over from the movie and they decided to add it to this movie 💯
The first use of robotic camera sgi for the first time in a movie with BTF 2 &3
I hope you watch the 3 part soon, you will like it even more 😉
Another reviewer said "wait, didn't *all* of this happen in like 2 weeks for Marty?"
@@garyjbaker exactly!!!
Here's what happens:
- November 5-12 in 1955
- October 21 in 2015
- October 26 in 1985 alt.
- November 12-13 in 1955
- September 2-7 in 1885
On October 26th Marty begins an 18-day adventure in time and then returns on the morning of October 27th .. practically he has "aged" by 18 days in a single day 😅 Great Scott!!!
Another Fun fact: The Asian guy in Griff's gang is Jason Scott Lee, who played Bruce Lee in the Movie "Dragon."
Young Biff be like: "Must have been the wind".
Those sneakers actually came out in 2011, the first pair sold for over $30K.
These movies are fun. The thing is you can’t go into the future to see yourself because you just left. Details they missed while making time travel movie.
Does Marty Jr. really have different colored eyes? I must have seen this a hundred times and I never noticed.
'That's like a baby's toy.' Did you notice the other kid was Elijah 'Frodo' Wood?
I like your Biff impression, you should open every reaction with that voice
In a deleted scene Lorraine kills Biff in 1985 that's why old Biff looked like he was dying while getting out of the time machine in 2015
Dutch: "WE JUST...NEEED.... SPORTS ALMANAC!"
"I HAD.... A PLAAAAAN!"
Not bad for a shoe that Nike design Tinker Hatfield says isn’t intended for actual use 😂
Also, Crispin Glover was recast for BTTF2 & the actor playing George McFly wore a prosthetic.
Love your videos, you have such a super cute accent & laugh :)
The Almanac was the OG Infinity Gauntlet.🤣
JAWS. Time to add it to your list!
Can’t wait for the 3rd!
So theres a deleted scene, when biff comes back from the past he is being erased because he chaged his past, thats why it looks like hes dying
Yeah. Me too.
1 >> 3 >> 2
I enjoy all 3, but there is a big difference.
9:46 Needles is Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers...so your comment holds water.
18:13 If you drive in a cabrio, even at low speeds, you hear nothing but wind. You have to scream to be understood.
i remember watching part 1 when i was 10 and 14 when i saw part 2 both in theatres. Its weird that alot of people dont realize Jennifer isnt the same actor , personally i like the girl in part 1 , Elizabeth Shue is a good actress though.
4:10 The kid in the red shirt is a young Frodo Baggins!
Needles is Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers who was also the main kidnapper in Obi-Wan.
Doc never ages whether it's 55, 85 or 2015 that's the facelift joke
If I were Marty I would ripped out 5 years of sports information from the Almanac before burning it.
"Is that pizza for ants" me: I understood that reference. 😊
Griff is intense because he has a bad bionic implant in his brain.
Doc could've just brought Jennifer back to 1985 while she was still out and Marty was getting chased
It would mess up their age differences resuling in Marty's sperm system not being in the same time period with Jennifer's egg system, so there's that...
Fun Fact: the boy in the red shirt with suspenders (in the Café 80's) is Elijah Wood.
The More You know 🌈
OMG I never noticed the eye colors before, thanks!
2:37 I’m surprised that she didn’t know that nike actually recreated those shoes in 2016, and they were and still expensive as hell.
My friend who work for sharp electronics back then was the one that sold them the LED displays those big ones on the front part of the displayed dash of the DeLorean
For anyone who loves the concept of time travel used in this movie I highly recommend playing No Time
They filmed 2 & 3 one after the other; if memory serves they were concerned about Fox growing up.
... if you watch again, right before the finale when future Doc is fighting turbulence, his elbow hits the control for the time circuits, and changes the destination to 1885.
5. Sammy Hagar, "I can't drive 55"😎
6. Good thing Biff shoots like a Star Wars Stormtrooper🤣
Great reaction as always Alyska, can't blame you for mixing your words up, it is insanely hot out there!! Try and stay cool!
Movies are movies, enjoy the ride and not question everything and cheer for the hero
also alyska, one of the bullies from the future is called Jason scott lee, he played mowgli in the 94 live action version of jungle book.
Also portrayed Bruce Lee in "Dragon, the Bruce Lee Story"
Thank you.
Plot holes:
- Doc took present Marty to the future, old Marty shouldn't exist.
- See explanation one
- Marty and Doc should have confronted future Biff back in 1955 before he hands the Almanac to young Biff. He's an old man, so I think the two of them could have taken future Biff on.
@@NZBigfoot
13:24 Lorraine Baines is literally the most strikingly beautiful mature woman my eyes have seen ❤️ 😍🔥
