    Me as a friend are looking to pick up a e46 for less than $1500 gut it well the diff and stiffer lowering springs maybe stuff a ball in the rear spring and adjust air pressure for dampening haha have a drift car for less than $2000

      Boosted Beauties that's awesome man have you ever used a football in the rear springs before? I got the idea from my shop teacher he said it's a cheap way to stiffen springs I had a e36 before and the body roll was terrible

      @AndersonDrift  6 років тому +9

      T lautz do NOT do that... Your shop teacher is giving you bad information. Spend $250 and get cheap eBay coilovers instead of a football..

      T lautz I know this is old but the ball thing is retarded LOL if you want them hard just cut them and if you want them even harder than that heat them up with a torch then spray them with a hose.... guaranteed to ride like shit But if you want something free that will work especially after you air the back tires up to 60 PSI

    hey bro super sick slides! quick question I just bought a e46 325ci. I know you can turn off the DSC and Traction Control and it does slide. did you see a huge difference vs welded diff? idk if you ever slid the car with DSC off and Traction control off before you welded the diff. thx!

      Unless you have a LSD diff there's basically no way you can drift with an open diff. You'll one wheel peel

      I owned my e46 for almost a year before I knew there's two stages to the TC! Hold the button down for 5 seconds instead of just pressing it and your brake light should come on too. Now tc is completely off and stability controll and abs also get turned off. The car slides completely different to just having tc off partially so be careful on your first few slides. (Unless you already knew all that)

    What psi are you running in your tires? I run like 35 in mine but it just dont wanna get spinning in second gear it always grips up and drops rpms in second gear lol, i was thinking of airing them up to like 50 psi and see what happens 😂

    • @AndersonDrift

      This video was probably 45 cold. Now I run like 20

    How’s the welded diff for everyday driving?

    • @AndersonDrift
      @AndersonDrift  4 роки тому

      I've only driven it a few times on the street. Skips on tight turns as expected but this car was meant for drifting so it doesn't bother me as I don't street drive it.

      I daily drive my e46 welded diff don't have any problems, if you are going shopping it can be a pain in the car parks but not to bad I have a 2.2 and its completely stock apart from welded diff
