I installed the same purple housing on my iPhone 6! It’s gorgeous. Installed a glowing apple logo on mine as well. The purple logo glowing on the back completes the purple look!
The Apple logo in the housing is really bad glued in. Maybe install an iGlow. That would make it even cooler. I'm gonna be upgrading my brothers iPhone 6S to a red housing and iGlow

I’m just changing it to red because the housing is really messed up and of needs a replacement and red isn’t more expensive than gold (original color). Awesome project. For me a white screen would have paired better with the white antenna lines, but the black screen is still a great look. Maybe you’ll come across an unlocked logic board with a white home button to try.

This iPhone looks A M A Z I N G. I'd want a green back / black front 6, bc my silver 6 had a bloated battery, and the place i wanted to use to replace the battery refused the repair, but sold me a 32GB 6s+.

Yeah I’ve stripped a 5c and flex seal colors it purple and it’s great. Idk how well it’ll bond to aluminum though since the original is anodized not painted.

You actually can replace the home button and reactivate touch id on the iphone 6. Apple and some 3rd party businesses do it. I got my homebutton(where touch id was not functioning) and got it replaced by a 3rd party(not apple) and it works fine now on my 64GB iPhone 6.

no because it won’t adhere, as you’d need etching primer and a sanded surface. preserving the apple logo as well would be hard.
Paint would also get into the mic, the speakers, and charging ports unless you can figure out how to mask them off.
