I haven't been on your channel for a long time. I'm glad you're still making videos. I came across this a long time ago, probably in 2012 - I was watching videos with my 4-year-old son - mostly about trains, mostly from Japan - there was a lot of rail content from that country back then. Somehow a thumbnail of one of your videos popped up and we watched them for a few years :) Now my son is in high school and is studying to be a train driver :) I don't know why I'm posting this comment but I think you'll enjoy it. Greetings from Poland :)
@wojteksienkiewicz_s3rd wow that's cool! Seems like trains and construction equipment go hand in hand. I use to have trains when I was a kid but saw a model crane for sale one time at a train show and had to have it. I still have my trains but they are boxed up. Don't have space to setup a layout like I did as a kid. Glad yall enjoy the videos.
23:33 hello from Malaysia,Tat Hong is one of the largest Singapore crane company where their cranes can be found working in Kuala Lumpur, including the CC2800 that you mentioned,i spent a little time finding big cranes there but mostly i found Liebherr/Terex Demag mobiles,i havent saw the CC2800 yet haha
I bought mine for six hundred and something last year direct from Sarens on sale for black friday. You should've bought it then. I don't have the extension kit for mine. I still haven't put it together and I need to find where a large bolt goes that was loose in the box as well. Would love to see a build video as well.
I'm retired and would love to build a kit like that over the winter, however, it's just too much money for me (and my wife would veto such purchase-lol).
Why is the model shipping so expensive? Did it come from another country? Also, you said your job is an oiler and set up real cranes. Are you happy doing that, or do you want to be an operator or other eventually?
Hi Dude, will you be doing a build video on this model, be it time lapse or move and click. I like watching either. That will be one very nice model. Regards from Australia.
I may do a timelapse build of it after I get it built and makes sure everything is there and works right and get the hang of putting it together. If I did one right out of the box it would be a 5 hr video lol. I've already re reeved the a frame 4 times haha. I'm a little rusty
@shan6021 it's been a few years since I added it all up but it was around 60-65,000. And yes I am in the operators union here and am an oiler on cranes, I also help assemble/disassemble them

too bad they didn't make the small lattice boom sections small enough to fit inside the bigger sections! what was IMC thinking?!?!
How much money have you invested in this undertaking?
And are you an operator of cranes and heavy machinery in real life?

So this is a “thing.” Very interesting.
