Does anyone have any good helminths for her? I’ve played her for a while but have just stuck with larva Bc it’s all I had. I’ve gotten a lot more tho so any suggestions are great.
Putting on Jolt on Epitath will yield less viral procs, my suggestion is to replace it with slash 60/60 because the +slash dmg does absolutely nothing for the explosions. You might want Jolt for condition overload builds, but not for pure caster builds. You also don't need anemic agility since you don't want to charge the shot you just want 1 quick tap and move on. For equilibrium to work, you need to actually consume the health orbs, you can do that with a synth fiber on your pet. As for pets, on pure caster frames like protea, I suggest either Huras for invisibility, and use Lega or Klemora to pop nullifier bubbles and not your weapon, or Panzer because immortal and free viral procs everywhere. Both madurai and shards give you casting speed, you can replace madurai with: Unairu for knockback immunity and armor strip. Vazarin 2 + Arcane Anomaly is a huge grouping ability which is amazing with her turret. Zenurik if you're still having trouble with energy after all of the other proposed fixes. As for primed flow, you can trade in just a little bit of stats by using cunning drift and dropping augur reach for flow.
I've been using protea like this for a long time, she is my go to for excavation, MD and defense, especially when doing kuva weapon farming. Her grenades are amazing
My current Protea build has less strength because I run Primed Flow instead of Equilibrium. But my Duration is at 222%. And I don't even have Archon Shards or the Molt mods yet. So it's gonna get even crazier. Especially since she's been my new main since I got back to the game...

I drop her slash 'nades a lot to help defend stuff. And the first thing I put on her was Roar, so that's also nice. Trying out some other abilities with the other configs, but it's honestly not really setting my world on fire. Roar's a nice stable damage buff that lasts for over a minute with my setup. Even with 'just' 71% damage using her passive, that's still a nice increase. (And that's without Growing Power, which bumps it to 78%)
so proteas slash grenade has two components of damage, it does slash damage, and also deals damage from slash procs. we only really care about the proc damage since thats what ignores armor how is the proc damage per damage tick calculated? does that damage scale with strength?
Why not use something like terrify to armor strip for the slash, and epitaph to prime for viral, already going for some range for the slash nade so can get a long range armor strip
Wdym gloom is kinda a waste survivability is easy with her just use rolling guard and her shield grenades so even for steel path it's still best to rather use roar or a grouping ability
@@kingsking2816 roar just let's U deal more damage U don't need to fight for your life because every thing dies before it can get close to you and I tried it in a endurance run and this was still the case against level 6000 and so I would assume It goes all the way to level cap since I was still having no trouble

I only put potatoes on prime frames but protea was so fun leveling I put one on her and like six forma
I personally enjoy Blaze Artillery Spam with Archon Vitality but this is fun too👌

Proteas range already shots pretty far …Roar is good in normal in steel path you gotta work very hard to survive …gloom is perfect for her
