*IMPORTANT* I messed up on the Nikana Segment The build is as follows: Blind justice for stance, Bane of choice , Glad might, Blood rush, weeping wounds, Organ shatter, Condition overload, Berserker fury and then you can go sac steel or Primed reach
Why use berserker fury instead of primed fury? They give pretty much the same bonus, except you don't need kills with primed fury to sustain the speed. Also, incarnon tonfas are almost as good as Krinen Prime, and they're way easier to get. The only real downside is the stance polarity. For glaives, there is a mod that adds 100% damage on consecutive throws up to +300% damage. It's less consistent than regular damage mods, but if you're running glaive only, it's better, cause you will be throwing your glaive non-stop anyway.
@@FerunaLutelou A very small percentage of the warframe community has primed fury because its a login reward primed mod Praedos are very good yes but the kronen is still very good That mod for glaives is called power throw and its not very good because you have to be on the floor and throw your glaive to gain the stacks so you cannot move around while throwing your glaive you are stuck running on the floor so thats why i dont suggest it

Didn't know power throw had such a drawback when it comes to mobility. Still, I would argue for Power Throw cuz there are plenty of warframes who don't need to move around much to survive, so it's not much of a drawback for those frames anyway. Zaw Nikana is great but for the love of god i cannot stand they way it bugs while holstered, it literally clips out of its scabbard and that kills me every time.
I love Praedos and I use it all the time, not just for the fact that makes you move faster and looks cool on the back of my fashion-frames but its potential in combat is incredible, their attack speed also make it more insane.
Mirage plus your glaive of choice is a friggin' hoot. Pop Mirage's 1, throw the glaive, and watch it bounce around and slaughter everything. Turns out that each thrown glaive _has its own flight path and physics,_ so if you put something like Volatile Quick Return on it, you can fill the screen with explosions and blood and guts and vertebrae and other assorted internal organs from your enemies (if they weren't disintegrated first). Good times.

With corrupt charge and covert lethality, you can have 3X combo multiplier all the time to use the incarnon form whenever you want. I have safeguard switch on Loki which just acts like a spammable rolling guard with its invul time scaling with ability duration. If an acolyte shows up, I just use switch teleport to get the invul, do one or two heavy attacks and then just watch the bleed ticks shred it.
So for people who might not like his playstyle some recommendations that also fit early game: The katana you get from playing the story later on is very good. The greatsword you get very late from the story is also very good. Duviri's polearm is very good. Polearms like orthos, gundao and their prime versions are very good and you can get them early although the skana is a great option and you might need skana later. If you like greatswords, broke war/war are good but I suggest upgrading to the Gram Prime if you like GS(i personally do, i use spin to win stance). Shields your options are the silver and aegis prime pretty much, maybe cobra and crane but shields are not very good. Use only if you truly like that gameplay. Zaw are in general better, specially if you have access to the Plague parts from the even. Zaw nikana is a tradeoff and possibly upgrade to nikana prime. Polearm zaw with plague, or staff plague zaw are very very good. GS zaw, even without plague, is comparable to Gram Prime but looks like a scythe(its my favourite) Finally the creme dela creme, gunblades. Dont brother slashing with gunblades, you want to shoot them like shotguns. Redeemer prime or stropha, whichever you like most.
pro tip for any newer players struggling with MR tests: The Corufel (first weapon in the vid) is an absolute godsend for most of the challenge as it is a melee weapon that can shoot making it extremely useful for the melee only challenges and the punch through makes it really helpful in a lot of the other challenges as well as it'll kill anything in the general area of the target. and since it's a melee weapon it doesn't alert anyone in the stealth challenges. I've used it for MR7-15 so far with no issues. side not another tip for MR challenges, use mods on your warframe that increase your airtime and jump height. they will definitely come in handy. having volt for his skills is also a plus but not a requirement.
Kornen Prime is the best melee weapon for me. Helps me get through almost all Steel Path missions as i cut all enemies like a hot knife cutting through butter.

For anyone with wisp, you can change innodem evolution for x3 combo for attack buff instead. on wisp you put aerodynamic and aero vantage, and with her baffs you basically becoming attack helicopter for 90 seconds after activation. pretty fun, but for steel path you might need helminth ability from rhino for damage boost. the key thing here, is wisp passive: she is basically invisible while airborne. if you have nothing to do, try it, i managed to outdamage wisp on this build, although i tried to max out strength without killing range and duration, so strength was around 400% with full madurai and molt vigor.

The Pennant is so underrated, probably better that way, that way DE won't nerf it or it's Riven disposition. I have a Crit Chance+Initial Combo-Crit on Slide and it is hilariously broken without even priming, faction mods or buffing, especially with the Melee Affliction Arcane, since the heavy attack has forced Slash procs and a "Lifted" status you get 7 Slash procs on a single Heavy Attack, easily geting 500K Slash proc damage without no buffs on fully armored Steel Path Heavy Gunners level 190
argument doesn't even make sense, why include niche mods that aren't needed anyway when any melee in the game is viable lmfao, also comparing a rivenless glaive to a melee with a riven is just dumb
i just love the venka, my fav weap for sure. other than that i'm a big advocate for the gram (big pp sword= big pp dmg), lesion, dual keres andguandao. i also got a god riven for the machete which makes it shred so hard, harder than my kronen even
I liked Ortos Prime for a long time. It's not best for it's high damage but for it's range. It's like truning on whindshield wipers and slashing evrything out of your way. It's also good for slam attacks to throw higher level enemies on the ground. Than I have upgraded to Galantine Prime and it is great in the same way. Nice range and even higher damage. Ive legit had the cerata with a riven for ages never knew it was broken to the point of being worthy of a mention in a video max ive hit with it is around 100 mil defoo worth it especially with buff frames
ETHER REAPER FTW, in all honesty the ether reaper is a weirdly great weapon. If you build it specifically for heavy attacking you can get really good results in high level content. Due to most scythes heavy attacks being pure slash, you can get alot of damage out for how early you can get the weapon. I built mine for heavy attacks and range (With a riven my ether reapers range is about 12.5m per swing).
just a comment about weapons 1 week ago I could not finish a SP mission solo then I got to level 14. Using these 3 weapons, Phantasma Laetum and Preados in 3 days I solo'd 95% of all SP missions and completed the SP star chart . 3 weapons 3 warframes Revenant Khora and Ivara... and the SP is finished in 3 days.... Biggest addition was Praedos if an enemy got close enough for me to melee within a second they were gone... So give Praedos a try mod for crit and speed and you may think it is a top 5 weapon.
Praedos > Kronen Prime Balla Zaw > Innodem (Balla, Peye, Vargeet II Jai) Sepfahn Zaw > Nikana Prime (Sepfahn, Peye, Vargeet II Jai) Just my personal preference
Glaive prime is the one and only best melee no doubt but i also really enjoy using the gram prime with gauss. It also shredds steelpath but without attack speed buffs the gram prime is not all that enjoyable
Berserker fury should be replaced with primed fury. Primed fury is not that much less AS than a max stacked b fury, but doesn't need stacks at all. Imo, karyst prime blows immo out of the water. Innate toxin lets you get viral or gas with only a single dual stat mod, so it makes it an obscenely strong option for level cap when paired with the argonak. With a max combo and a grouping ability, my gas karyst prime can take out high level enemies with just a single hit or two (non heavy attack), and thats even before using any primer.
Honest to god, the bow you get from completing the New War is probably the best weapon the game has ever just handed to you, fully built and with a catalyst Im pretty sure.
1. Praedos because its a good melee when you don't care about melee attacking (utility). Melee is just kinda samey. You swing it, you throw it, or you shoot it. You do that for the whole mission. Its super strong, but for me its kinda mind-numbing before too long.
as a non-meta enjoyer, here are my suggestions: karyst prime dakra prime (hoooooly fuck it's good) sepfahn nikana/zaw balla zaw (but not with contagion)

as a new player, i can recomend new players doing story quest, and geting xoris, build it to heavy attack (trowing) and its easly do 180k+ dmg
I'm obsessed with Praedos, because this thing's reach allows you to cut earth in two pieces
Upon hearing gunscythe, I javelin bow started installing this game
Nikana both prime and dragon along with Cerata are my main melee.
Also I saw no forma on that stropha, so we understand your reluctance to accept the stropha
Stropha is only worse than the glaives by range. Other than that stropha da best
*shoot da stropha*

*Archon dead in 1 hit (from around 40-50% hp, but still)*

i see you play with cedo. i crafted it yesterday and i FELL INLOVE with it. this wep is just insane when u mod it good.
Orthos prime is still my comfort melee wepon
just a comment about weapons 1 week ago I could not finish a SP mission solo then I got to level 14.
Just roll a zaw riven a few times and build a zaw for it, job done. Gunblades ya maaybe but Kronen Prime still my fav for spanking demo units.
My favorite is Lesion. I don't know why but It's on every warframe I run
Ek het my gunsteling melee gekry na ek die video gekyk het, love jou vids ou keep up!
english
Praedos > Kronen Prime
Balla Zaw > Innodem (Balla, Peye, Vargeet II Jai)
Sepfahn Zaw > Nikana Prime (Sepfahn, Peye, Vargeet II Jai)
Just my personal preference
Some of my favorite Melee include Syam(love it more than ninkana prime), courfell, Tatsu prime, and the Pradeos(aka the DID U PRAY TODAY 🤨)
I'm MR 25, my fav melee has always been Broken War.
God, Cerata, what a blast from the past. I should dust mine off.
Dual ether as me stat stik is noice. Although amphis does rock if u have a neg impact riven
🤓 goog video 👍, glaive prime as expected.
Goog video indeed
Slap like If you think samurai jack was the goat
WA-CHAAA!
Glaive prime is the one and only best melee no doubt but i also really enjoy using the gram prime with gauss. It also shredds steelpath but without attack speed buffs the gram prime is not all that enjoyable
Yup just only get glaive prime
they really need to unvault the glaive p. its super inflated nowadays
Quick Question - what’s the build on your Epitaph primer used in the Nikana Prime showcase?
personally, i like a good exodia contaigen build. it gives good aoe, great damage and takes me as far as i need
At first I thought xoris sucks but now I'm amazed
you forgot the best part about Innodem and also drifting contact is a waste of a mod slot
you mean the .9 follow through?
Whats really fun is Exodia contagion w a zaw build
Berserker fury should be replaced with primed fury. Primed fury is not that much less AS than a max stacked b fury, but doesn't need stacks at all.
Imo, karyst prime blows immo out of the water. Innate toxin lets you get viral or gas with only a single dual stat mod, so it makes it an obscenely strong option for level cap when paired with the argonak.
With a max combo and a grouping ability, my gas karyst prime can take out high level enemies with just a single hit or two (non heavy attack), and thats even before using any primer.
wouldn't recommend using PPS with CO, could replace with something more useful I.E range, AS, CD, alternatively anything else if you are priming
You dont have to forma the by default "Vazarin" polarity, just put "Volatile Quick Retun" in and u only lose 1 capacity
i always perfer melee weapons that act as ranged weapons
Inodems projectiles: meager, weak orbies.
Ceramic dagger incarnon: I FOCKING RIP A OFF, MATE!
As a Pathocyst enjoyer, I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't up there.
Top 5 melee weapons. First entry: ‘Don’t use it in melee, just use the gun’
What is you're fast button for switch secondary to mele so fast ?
Very good video with nice explication 👌
Press melee button
Instead of wasting a slot on drifting contact, I just use Naramon unless I'm using a glaive
as a non-meta enjoyer, here are my suggestions:
karyst prime
dakra prime (hoooooly fuck it's good)
sepfahn nikana/zaw
balla zaw (but not with contagion)
