Great mix of techniques to produce a really interesting painting. Love the limited palette you used as well - less is more! Thank you for sharing your methods.
I was struggling with an abstract I started doing, mostly because I’m new to abstracts. After watching this video several times, I figured out what I was doing wrong. My sincere thanks to you. You taught me so much with just one painting. I’m so grateful to you🙏🏽
cool, i like how you started with a brown wash and ended up with something much lighter. not to mention the hand full of paintings you painted over on your way to what you ended up with. at one point it looked like a black and white aerial photo. watching your video tells me i need to free my creativity .thanks for posting.

Hi thank you for watching❣️ And for me abstract art is a process.. the layers are just what comes without thinking about it. And sometimes the first layers show through at the end and sometimes they are completely covered 😊 I hope it makes sence what I am trying to explain 😅
I’m not a train or little knowledge of art ; however even as a child I loved it and never explored it until now I’m retired. Can you please tell me what was the material you used ( plaster, gesso 🤷🏻. And did you colour it with acrylic paint) ? So if anyone be able to enlighten me on this I’d appreciate it very much.
great! Sara here. What is in your green spray bottle, water or another substance like a paint thinner? thank you for video...it was nicely done. cheers!
Thank you so much Rose, unfortunatly I do can not recall all the colors I used, because some I mixed them myself 🙈 So sorry ❣️ Thank you for watching ❤️
You are using water to dilute and drip. The acrylic medium in the paint will not adhere well. The acrylic paints might peel or flake off the canvas. Replace the water with acrylic air spray medium. You’ll thank me in 10-15 years….(or less).

Hi! Love this piece. Question, you used black paint attached to the stick, both thin at first then a thicker one. What was attached to the end of the stick that applied the paint?
Are you letting the layers dry in between? I always seem to create mud and sludge if I don’t let one layer almost completely dry before applying another….my biggest problem. Thanks! 😁👍🏼
Hi, yes i do let layers dry in between, exept when I know that the colors wont create mud. Like black and white for example, i like it when the create another color.
hello Mariet, this last work of art seems fascinating to me, I have a question to ask you... that flat palette (type mason) with which you apply the white... how is its base? sponge? is it metal? some other type of material? I only find sponge😓
Hello Sergio, its a spatula for plastering drywall? I bought it at a hardware store. Its called a plastering trowel, i believe. This one is made of plastic. You also have them in iron. I googled them and see one at Amazon? I hope you can find one!

i have a question: the plastic you applied to the painting had a specific texture of paint prior to applying it to the canvas. How did u apply it to the plastic prior to the canvas? and was it paint?
Hi, yes on the plastic was white acrylic paint, a few drops and that I wrapped together a bit to get a texture/marks and then unfolled it again and put it on the canvas to leave a mark 😁
