What do I get out of watching reaction channels of people being exposed to country music for the first time? It's like listening to a country music oldies station and being reminded of all the great music and messages throughout the years and doing it vicariously "for the first time".
You almost had me tearing up on this one. The "Good Stuff" are the things that are way too easy to take for granted, because life moves so fast. I went from 4 yrs old to 14, in the 70s. But, I remember that it was such a simpler time. Everything was so much more relaxed and pleasant.
I’m 62. My son is 37. He was a teenager when this song came out. He didn’t love country; but heard this on the radio while in the car with me. He said the song was meaningful. To this day… when say he reads a bedtime story to his two year old baby girl…he says to me “Momma…that’s the good stuff!” I said, yes it is! Those little moments that seem small at the time…they’re the good stuff. My son also has a daughter that’s fifteen. He now wishes she was little enough to ask daddy to read her a bedtime story. Don’t let those little moments go by…cause that’s THE GOOD STUFF.
An addiction is an addiction, it takes time away from you and your family. Your analogy of the phone compared to chemical addiction is spot on. Keep preaching Brother, you speak the truth..
Glad to hear that you are a recovering Country-Hater. Country tells amazing stories. Most of the time country music makes me cry. Some of those songs are real heart-breakers. They start of nice, but then comes the twist, like in Whiskey La Le bye. He stopped loving her today is a real heart-breaker. I cry crocodile tears every time I hear that song. 👍🤦♀😘. You Sebs deserve a 🌹, and hundred of 👍up.
Milk is used in different cocktails so it is on hand but not sure if is served. I never had anyone ask for a glass of milk but would have served it. Love this song. Great reaction
I agree about the phone! That's why the last vacation my wife and I took was in the mountains of Colorado, didn't have a signal but felt such peace not hearing it going off. Loved the reaction yall have a blessed day!
I’ve watched your reaction to this many times because I love Kenny and his songs but I really love your heartfelt reaction to this. Wish I could hit “thumbs up” more than once. Thank you for your sweet reaction. 🙏🏼
Isn't it strange how the good stuff can be so easily ignored? And we ignore it with things that aren't even half as important. We all need to soak up more of the Good Stuff ☮️
Excellent point Sebs. If we aren't careful screens can dominate life, and they are not "the good stuff". Kenny has some great music with an island vibe you might enjoy checking out, on your own if you don't have time to react to them. Suggest "Old Blue Chair", which would be great after a stressful day, and "Wild Child".
One song you ABSOLUTELY HAVE to do is Chris Jansen Drunk girl. The guy wrote it as he has a young daughter snd how he hopes his girl is treated when she grows up. It has such a great message.
HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS MASTERPIECE!?!? This is my first video I’ve watched from you but I had to subscribe for unlocking some amazing memories buried deep in this song thank you!
One of my toughest days, was walking my daughter down the aisle, knowing that I was giving her away to another man. That was a day that I cried, but yet I was so happy for her, to know she had found a good man. Hold on to your daughters as long as you can, because eventually they will outgrow you oh, but you will always love them
Your comment just broke me. I have 3 daughters and my oldest is in college now. I dont know how I'll be able to walk her down the isle without losing it.
Kenny Chesney is my absolute favorite country artist, he has soooo many amazing songs and he writes pretty much all of his own songs and I love that he also incorporates island sounds into his music but it sounds soo awesome. He won't disappoint. His songs like pirate flag, when the sun goes down w/ uncle cracker, young, demons, baptism w/randy Travis, small y'all w/ George Jones, shiftwork w/ George straight and my absolute favorite song How forever feels are great songs u should listen to. I could go on and on 😂 love ur wholesome reactions 💚💜
Can’t go wrong with Kenny. He was always my sign for summertime, have seen him live 8 times when he first opened for Tim McGraw and every summer until kids got us too busy…… fair trade I guess😊
Thank you for pointing out how distracting a phone can be. You can’t get your kids youth back or family when they’re gone. Be present and enjoy your life. 💗
This is absolutely one of Kenny's great songs! Please, please, check out "That's Why I'm Here!" Because of my past, I went to Kenny's concert just to hear that one song! The things mentioned in that song are why I am here today!! Great reaction!
I grew up in the 70's Country music! I like some of the new stuff but I'm still old Country! I'm a little partial but there are many new artist that are trying to bring back the old. Kenny is awesome!
I do love this song and have since it came out. Country music like all types of music, has a lot of crappy stuff out there without much up lifting messages but this one is one that makes up for it. Craig Morgan's This Ain't Nothin' is another one that helps keep us in perspective.
Written by the living legend Craig Wiseman about a story told to him by a security guard he befriended at the publishing house where he was contracted. The guard had moved to Nashville for treatment for his wife when she was diagnosed with cancer. Yeah, the good stuff. ♥️
Check out Trace Atkins. He has awesome songs. "Arlington & You're Gonna Miss This" are two of my favorites of his. Another one is called "Just Fishin'". His voice is amazing!!!!
I forgot about the holding he hand when her time got small. My dad held my mom's hand when she slipped away. Basically we pulled the plug. That was in '17, lost my Dad in '20. Wasn't able to see him from March until he died in July. Did really get to say goodbye to him. Thank you for listening to the good stuff.
Some of the best writers in the world are in Nashville. If you don't cover it up with rhythm and beat. The lyrics have to stand. That's the mark of great music.
I'm not a drinker either. When my band and I would play the bars whish was most of the time. I'd order grapefruit juice n 7-up most bars have both and its good tasting.
Reminds me of a random song from an unknown artist named Mark Leach called “ I think I met Jesus “ I am sure you won’t see this but I met the co-writer of the song at dinner the other night and it is a special type of song that most won’t hear!
Check out Kenny’s Don’t Blink and A Lot of Things Different, and another great country song that I haven’t seen anyone react to is The River And The Highway by Pam Tillis, daughter of country great Mel Tillis.
My advice: forget about having a perfect home. When the day comes when there’s no one there to make it messy it won’t matter. Get your feet dirty. Chase fireflies. The laundry is going anywhere, but your kids will someday.
You need to play what might have been by little Texas. Best country song ever and it’s right up your alley. This is a video to watch with your wife. Hope you check it out
Kenny also has a song "Don't Blink" which covers the subject you mentioned in your comments on this song - put the phone down and spend time with your kids because life goes by too fast.
I don't know if they still do but they serve pretty much anything in bars that you can think of honestly, I go to hang out with my friends but I'm not much of a drinker either. One thing I learn is if your wondering if they have something to just ask cause I've been surprised a couple of times that they've had something I didn't think they would have.
The milk thing depends on the bar, but most bars either serve some sort of food and probably have milk on hand for that purpose and/or serve some drinks that call for milk in them, such as some versions of a White Russian or a Colorado Bulldog. If they have some milk on hand, I'm sure they'll serve you up a glass by itself. All you gotta do is ask. Lol
Do most bars have milk? Top of the list is that most bars rarely use milk, so their supply is short, nonexistent or-worse-expired. Save that White Russian for a cozy night in. What to order instead: A Tito's and root beer for that vodka kick with a side of sweetness.
Everyone goes for the heartstring songs, or She thinks my tractor's sexy. I've seen Kenny live twice, and his catalog is pretty much my Playlist. Only song I absolutely can not stand is Sexy Tractor. He ended both shows with it and I was headed for the door before he finished the first line. I'm a sailor. Owner/ Captain of an antique ocean going racing sailboat. Grew up cowboying in the N Ga mountains where my family owns a custom saddle company. I cowboyed. Listening to Kenny inspired me to go to sea at 50. I'll suggest 4 songs. 1 for fun. No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problems. 2 Romantic : Anything but Mine. 3 Deep : Spirit of a Storm 4 : The Life. I believe your other subscribers will appreciate them ,but you do you. Capt.Bob, SV ( Sailing Vessel) 27th Chance, Tampa Fl , USA 🇺🇸
Yes Sebs. Todays' alcohol is the phone. Kills me when I see parents out walking with their kids or at a restaurant on their phones. Cell phones have ruined society. (By design) We really do need to break out of the matrix.
One thing about Sebs going down the country music road, he’s bringing back a lot of songs I had forgotten about ❤
Me too!
Me too! It’s so much fun to re-experience some of these songs for the first time through someone else’s eyes.
@tracylee4526 if you click on the description, there is a link to the site he uses for finding songs.
What do I get out of watching reaction channels of people being exposed to country music for the first time? It's like listening to a country music oldies station and being reminded of all the great music and messages throughout the years and doing it vicariously "for the first time".
Yes it does! And don’t blink😌
Damn. I would have never given this song a chance either. So beautiful.
This song is a masterpiece in lyrical song writing.
And THIS is why we love country music! It just grabs us by the heart and MAKES us feel! 😊❤️. Great reaction. 👍🏼
“Don’t Blink” is a phenomenal Chesney tune
You almost had me tearing up on this one. The "Good Stuff" are the things that are way too easy to take for granted, because life moves so fast. I went from 4 yrs old to 14, in the 70s. But, I remember that it was such a simpler time. Everything was so much more relaxed and pleasant.

As a father of two and grandpa of seven and great grandpa of one. I assure you your kids want nothing more than your time and attention.
This is one of my favorite songs of any genre. The storytelling is absolutely beautiful and drives home what "the good stuff" is.
I’m always amazed at Kenny’s romance songs. Since he’s a self proclaimed bachelor.
An addiction is an addiction, it takes time away from you and your family. Your analogy of the phone compared to chemical addiction is spot on. Keep preaching Brother, you speak the truth..

Used to stop in on my way to work and could get a cup of coffee at Silverado's bar in Nashville back in the " Urban Cowboy " days, lol
I agree about the phone! That's why the last vacation my wife and I took was in the mountains of Colorado, didn't have a signal but felt such peace not hearing it going off. Loved the reaction yall have a blessed day!

Another reaction channel I'm subscribed to saw the pucca shell necklace, black tank, and just his general look and called him country Eminem haha

I love that song
Your comment about the phone is spot on.
I see it all the time with my kids and grandchildren.
HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS MASTERPIECE!?!? This is my first video I’ve watched from you but I had to subscribe for unlocking some amazing memories buried deep in this song thank you!
Trace Atkins “You’re Gonna Miss This” is another good one in a similar vein…
My favorite Kenny song!! I knew you would love it. Great reaction!!

Sebs, glad you mentioned "Letters From Home" by John Michael Montgomery. You're going to love it ! 😃
“Letters From Home” is beautiful…as is “Traveling Soldier”
Love Kenny, he has a lot great songs and a beautiful voice ❤
Great song by Kenny! Love the older songs by him so much. Check out Don't Blink for another good one. Thanks for the reaction!
Definitely drink it all in!! Time goes so fast and in a blink they're grown and have those beautiful grandkids!! ❤
👏👏Country Music👏👏 a story to think about for anything in your life. 🕯
The line about the new t-shirt hits hard, that's how my daughter told me, she gave me a t-shirt that said "Great dads get promoted to grandpa"
Kenny Chesney is my absolute favorite country artist, he has soooo many amazing songs and he writes pretty much all of his own songs and I love that he also incorporates island sounds into his music but it sounds soo awesome. My cousin was actually in prison with Kenny's father and he never missed a visit or call, he's a good man.
Can’t go wrong with Kenny. He was always my sign for summertime, have seen him live 8 times when he first opened for Tim McGraw and every summer until kids got us too busy…… fair trade I guess😊
We need more music like this again! I really love Wholesome messages!
Another beautiful story song by Kenny Chesney is While He Still Knows Who I Am. My dad drove a Chevy.... Should have been a hit💕
Thank you for pointing out how distracting a phone can be. You can’t get your kids youth back or family when they’re gone. Be present and enjoy your life. 💗

❤❤❤always loved this tune... it's the good stuff❤
Such a great reaction! That is such a wonderful song!
Don't blink!!! Kenny Chesney you will love it!!❤
I grew up in the 70's Country music! I like some of the new stuff but I'm still old Country! I'm a little partial but there are many new artist that are trying to bring back the old. Kenny is awesome!
How long can you call yourself a "recovering county hater" when ever country song you've posted, you've loved 😂
My partner just found out that his daughter is going to make him a grandfather. We’re so excited!
Along the same line of this song is My List by Toby Keith. I love these songs that help us to remember what's important in life.
This always loved Kenny. Great relatable music.
I do love this song and have since it came out. Country music like all types of music, has a lot of crappy stuff out there without much up lifting messages but this one is one that makes up for it. Craig Morgan's This Ain't Nothin' is another one that helps keep us in perspective.

I’m not crying…love this song!
Hey Sebs.A great song to listen to would be EAGLES singing THERE IS A HOLE IN THE WORLD. You should give it a go.
"That's why I'm here" is my favorite Kenny Chesney song. ❤️ Treat yourself and give it a listen.
You really can't go wrong with a Kenny song. I think my favorite is somewhere with you
Check out Trace Atkins. He has awesome songs. "Arlington & You're Gonna Miss This" are two of my favorites of his. Another one is called "Just Fishin'". His voice is amazing!!!!
Beautiful reaction! Great song/artist!
The boys of fall reminds me a lot about going to the footballs game every Friday night playing in pep band to cheer on our players. Go Panthers!
You can't go wrong with Kenny Chesney. love all of his songs.
I saw Kenny open up for The Dixie Chicks back in the 90’s!!! Great concert:)
I forgot about the holding he hand when her time got small. My dad held my mom's hand when she slipped away. Basically we pulled the plug. That was in '17, lost my Dad in '20. Usually bars keep milk on handle to mix with coffee and khalua (sp), unless they use cream instead of milk. I usually order a coke.
very cool to watch your country music journey
4th Watch. Kenny is an artist I must watch reactions many times.
When was the last time a rap or hip hop song was actually giving you advice saying NOT to drink. THEY DONT
My advice: forget about having a perfect home. When the day comes when there’s no one there to make it messy it won’t matter. Get your feet dirty. Chase fireflies. The laundry is going anywhere, but your kids will someday.
"Three chords and the truth..." ❤🇺🇸
Please do “Don’t Blink” by Kenny. That song, like this one, always brings a tear to my eyes!
You need to play what might have been by little Texas. Best country song ever and it’s right up your alley. This is a video to watch with your wife. Hope you check it out
My favorite Kenny Chesney song is Thats why I'm here
Having a daughter myself the song “My little girl” by Tim McGraw destroys me. Unrelated to country music, “say you won’t let go” by James Arthur.
Kenny also has a song "Don't Blink" which covers the subject you mentioned in your comments on this song - put the phone down and spend time with your kids because life goes by too fast.
Definitely if you haven’t done it do Traveling Soldier it’s a song I listen to every Memorial Day.
Please do the video.. Everybody wants to go to heaven.. The longer video!! Love KC!!!
Same artist, you will love the song Don't Blink!
I don't know if they still do but they serve pretty much anything in bars that you can think of honestly, I go to hang out with my friends but I'm not much of a drinker either. Bars and bar tenders will generally pour u whatever u want they have on hand. Keep in mind manners and a good tip$ goes a long way
Do most bars have milk?

Check out Phil Vassar song/music video "Don't Mess Your Life"it's goes with what you said about being present with your Family.
Knew this one would be one you’d like. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ginger Ale on the rocks in a high ball glass is my escape. It looks like a mixed whiskey drink in a glass but keeps you sober.
Listen to Kenny sing Don't Blink. Talks about how fast life goes by.
Love Kenny Chesney! I don't think he has a bad song. This song is beautiful.
Everyone goes for the heartstring songs, or She thinks my tractor's sexy. I've seen Kenny live twice, and his catalog is pretty much my Playlist. Only song I absolutely can not stand is Sexy Tractor. Apparently you can order milk at a bar..but most bartenders do not like milk..so their supply may be short or non existent..but hey! I'd go for it.
I frickin love this song!
Beautiful song ❤
You gotta listen to his songs "I go back" and "who'd you be today".
Used to stop in at Silverados bar in Nashville on my way to work and get a cup of coffee, don't know bout milk, lol
Letters from Home is Awesome !
John Michael Montgomery is just awesome ❤
Hey Sebs, since you've got kids, I HIGHLY recommend Kenny's song "Don't Blink"!! Trust me, you'll love it! 👍🎶💕💯
Yes Sebs. Todays' alcohol is the phone. Kills me when I see parents out walking with their kids or at a restaurant on their phones. Cell phones have ruined society. (By design) We really do need to break out of the matrix.
Please play.please play please forgive me by Bryan adams.Vonnie Torraville.❤❤❤
As a former bar owner we served milk and used it for other drinks as well.
Billy Curringtons People are Crazy is a must watch/listen
Don’t Blink is another great song by Kenny
Beautiful song
