Funny you mention that, I get yelled at DAILY for looking at my car like I do and not the other half lol. Thank you guys for the support. And wait for the follow up in the next couple months..
Saw one pull up right beside me in the parking lot yesterday and the guy reved it hard! I have to say it was the happiest day of life in a while witnessing a R32 in real life.
+Mirko Filipovic Hey but that is Matt... like it or not, at least he has a style and has stayed true to it. I for one enjoy the reviews and appreciate the time spent on doing them!
Matt..............NICE! Always wondered about that car. One of the guys at my local gas station has this very car and I love it. So does he. Thanks for the great review! As always! How's about a pre-72 VW bus? Love to see that review, or even some 50's-60's American Motors stuff, like Ramblers, AMX, Javelin etc. Thanks again for the enthusiasm and fun! You're a natural at it Matt! Love to watch your face and hands flying around!
+subaruwrxfan awesome!..hopefully u get urself some more friends with older cool cars like this one to review since all of us here love us some classics. nice review again👍
During the ad before the video I am always humming the intro song and screaming "Yeah!" Then screeching "What's up everybody, Subarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfan!" in a high pitched voice before the video starts.
Hey Matt! If you see someone driving a classic, flag em down and let them know the high quality of your work. Perhaps they'd enthusiastically permit you to review their vehicle. You'd think anyone would permit you to review their car based on your history. Also, perhaps you could place a Craigslist ad asking people to permit you to review anything they've possibly got hidden in the garage or storage facility. Thanks again for all you do. You really are one of my very favorite reviewers and your quality is amazing. You're a NATURAL!
It says "Speed Hunters" in Japanese. Cool gold wheels match the white body color. It reminds me of a friend's ride back in '89-'90. What a roller coaster ride that was on the streets of Tokyo... Cool video indeed.
I owned one of these in 2005ish as an 18year old. With basic mods it rolled out 400awkw about (550awhp for all the Americans . Was an absolute beast. Now 550rwhp seems like baby numbers.
Darrell Gilbert if i were homeless, and i had i car, it would be cool to sleep in the car then wake up to dozens of paparazzi trying to ask if they're legal and where'd you get it
Nice clean R32. White isn't my preference, but with that really clean paint and gold wheels, it looks great. Any fan of GTR's should be proud to own this beast.
Correction at about 10:03 - the brakes are actually the Sumitomo brakes, as the Brembos were only introduced in the R32 V-Spec and were subsequently used in every trim of the R33 and R34 (except the R34 Z-Tune of course). Sumitomo also makes the GTS brakes for all years. I believe the early R32 GT-R brakes are also common with the 300ZX Twin Turbo; they're supposedly not bad, though.
One of the lucky ones to have driven and raced an R32 back in 2006 on the streets of Pakistan. Traded in my 2000 R1 for it but it was worth it! (went back to the r1 though, sorry JDM bois) but mad respect to this machine. Fastest car I've ever driven!
Awesome review Matt! if I'm not mistaken I believe Doug demuro's stock R32 was dynoed at 286 at the wheels, so that's easily over 300 at the crank. They were under rated from the factory
I live in a small city in the U.S i saw a skyline gtr i flipped out so the guy in the gtr looks over and is seeing the guy in the red hat looking like he's having sizure 👍
Also, N1's have a different chassis code and weren't made until 1991. And those aren't Brembo brakes. It has NISMO vents on the front bumper, but doesn't have the full NISMO aero kit.
hey hey hey! easy guys! (they came on the car, I hate them, please don't point them out) :...-( I'm hunting for a good set of Nismo GTLM 1-3's (I don't want LM4'S on a 32..)
Awesome video subaruwrxfan I would love it if you could do a video on a new Volkswagen Golf R manual transmission. I've watched a lot of videos other ppl put up but I'm interested in your take on that car. Thank you!
I remember playing Playstation 1 with Gran Turismo (1998) and and tried lots of cars... finally me and my friend got the Toyota Supra and it we could tune it to around 900+ HP.... but it was totally undrivable... we could beat it with a lot less horsepower on other cars... Supra was RWD... and with 900+ HP it was impossible... then we checked around and found this strange car... a Nissan??? and it was a progressive AWD drive car... with a lot of tuning possibilities... think we got it to around 850+ HP... and it was a fucking beast to drive... it was 100 times better then the Supra... after that (98) I just loved Nissan's GT-R's and ofc their Silvia line (could never afford any GT-R and was not sold in Sweden)... but I had 2 200SX S13 (CA18DET, not the American KA24DE)... absolutely loved them!
It was rated at 276 HP because most big Japanese car manufacturers signed the Gentleman’s agreement where they agreed to make cars with no more than 276 HP to avoid competition. The manufacturers all broke the agreement almost immediately, though they still rated the cars that way to make it not so obvious. So you are right, it most likely made more than 276 HP. Besides, that R32 might have some slight mods to it to make some more power but idk (I’m only at 8:04 in the vid so don’t go “he said it in the video!” :) ) Edit: The GT-R had a wastegate limiter that limited the power. When removed, which is a free mod, it gave the car way more power (~320 as apposed to 276)
Man, that thing sounds amazing. The R32 has always been my favorite iteration of the GT-R. I'd like to own one of these one day in Gun Gray Metallic IMO, R32>R34>Hakosuka>R33>R35>Kenmeri
Excellent review man and what a car. Only thing il say is you should have perhaps put the window up, just a bit to much noise from wind and passing cars.
Came here to see how you guys are reacting to our king of the streets glad you guys are loving it. Its so common to see skylines here in Australia. Theyre like camrys bro. Theyre everywhere. Between Stock to 1000hp. R35s tho.. Not so much. Only a short amount of time till that car will take over the USA streets too haha!! AMG, M Series.. Lambo, Ferrari? 😂 What are thoooose lmao.
We've had these in Australia for years. They are called Grey imports. Only thing with driving right hand drive in the US (and vice versa left hand drive in Oz) is overtaking on single lane roads, especially when you are behind a truck
+Josiah Thibodeaux Yeah great idea, a Supra turbo R would be an excellent car to review. They came in the 1JZ twin turbo option that was never offered in the USA. SO now that they are legal to import you can find them available.
***** Haha check for the ITR or Integra forums, they got some for sale last month! It could be your chance, man. :) I love the ITR's and it's my dream FWD car
Every time I see a R32 GT-R in the states I smile inside
It feels good knowing that its in the same state that I'm in
+Pepe The Frog FeelsGoodMan
Plays Back on the Rocks.
I don't want to get scolded but I'm starting to like the r32 more than the r34. Yeah, not sure why
Hey its your opinion, and no one else should disrespect it just because you like one over another.
+Franklin r32 > r34 anyday m8
I honestly was never too crazy about the R32. I've always liked the 33 & 34. But after seeing the 32 in person makes me realized why it's so liked.
+Franklin You guys in USA don't get much spotlight on the R32 & R33. The R34 is so popular because of The Fast and Furious movie series haha.
+Nissan Skyline R33 actually its popular because of racing games. Grand Turismo games in particular
I can just see his girl looking at him like "you never smiled at me like that"
LOL
Lmao I'm sure that would happen to most of us since R32's are fucking sexual.
Yep da R32 is way better then the girl tho
HF Daydreamer yes
Funny you mention that, I get yelled at DAILY for looking at my car like I do and not the other half lol. Thank you guys for the support. And wait for the follow up in the next couple months..
the old is gold
MAX SPEED just add a "g" letter and we re fine
Truly a Japanese legend. I love Japanese engineering
The power on those cars was underrated due to the gentleman's agreement in Japan. They actually made a little over 300 to the wheels
+Joey Karaffa Over 300 to the fly, about 280 to the wheels.
"whats up guys , subrugfghdjsx fan here"
lmao fucking dead
It's his excitement being released.
LOL!
Saw one pull up right beside me in the parking lot yesterday and the guy reved it hard! I have to say it was the happiest day of life in a while witnessing a R32 in real life.
I saw one driving yesterday and it was probably the most beautiful car I've ever seen.
Ethan Shrago Indeed, they are a gem.
Finally a afghan who understand jdm cars:')
OG Niz Lmao!
Review the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo!!!
your enthusiasm is contagious! fantastic review and what an impressive car. keep up the great work matt
10:07 Itsy Bitsy JDM spider
imported and everything haha
Simply my favorite car in the world right here. I like it more than the R34 too. Awesome.
Everyone loves the r32 but I don't like it that much, too square I find. This though is so nice
+Chikenfingers Teletubbies u know where i can one in the usa
+Jose Avila probably craigslist or import it from Japan I don't really know I live in canada
+Jose Avila importing is probably your best option :)
Chikenfingers Teletubbies you know anyone that imports cars or a website i could go to.
im still waiting on the day that he will pronounce the intro in a normal speed
Don't hold your breathe lol
+Mirko Filipovic Cro Cop
+Mirko Filipovic Just change your playback settings to 1/2 speed.
what's up everybody! subaruxfan here!!!
+Mirko Filipovic Hey but that is Matt... like it or not, at least he has a style and has stayed true to it. I for one enjoy the reviews and appreciate the time spent on doing them!

+Patrick PhippsPA Thanks! I'd love to review some classics but unfortunately no owners have offered any.
+subaruwrxfan would u ever own an older cae, or u stick with new?
I definitely want to own some classics eventually!
+subaruwrxfan awesome!..hopefully u get urself some more friends with older cool cars like this one to review since all of us here love us some classics. nice review again👍
+subaruwrxfan matt the older sport cars from japan were always underrated due to a gentleman's treaty in japan that ended a long time ago
what happen to the "now let's turn onto this backroad here and see how she does?"
Matt, I grew up obsessing over that car playing gran turismo 1 on ps1 back when that was the newest and greatest auto game ever. Your a lucky guy!
That's exactly why I like this car so much
During the ad before the video I am always humming the intro song and screaming "Yeah!" Then screeching "What's up everybody, Subarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfan!" in a high pitched voice before the video starts.
100,000 views by the end of the week ;)

Finally the day has come where you review a true GTR! My wish has been granted :)
Should have bought this over mustang
I just bought my r32 and boy I'm amazed got a r34 engine and got to say having both is awesome
R32 is the sexiest GTR ever!
It says "Speed Hunters" in Japanese. Cool gold wheels match the white body color. It reminds me of a friend's ride back in '89-'90. What a roller coaster ride that was on the streets of Tokyo... Cool video indeed.
+Shun Sato
Thanks for translating that, I was curious as to what it said. Figured it would have been something more "racey" LOL
My heart is very happy
One of your best reviews...thanks man
Nice review Matt! I just saw one in person for the first time here in NY about 2 weeks ago & it was a GT-R!
your reaction never gets old!! love it my dude
I owned one of these in 2005ish as an 18year old. With basic mods it rolled out 400awkw about (550awhp for all the Americans . Was an absolute beast. Now 550rwhp seems like baby numbers.
haha you damn well know he was dying to drive it when he was commenting on the interior bits of the car.
What a great review. In Australia this was the car that kicked holden and ford and BMW butts in the 1991 and 1992 Thanks again
Buying myself one of these next summer. Freaking psyched.
I'm Glad you show the Names of the Music. I love your reviews. Awesome !
Loved the review!I noticed you have a pretty nice CTS-V in your possession really excited to see that!
Oh yeah... Thanks for the exhaust cam, a total MUST!
I hope one crosses my path in the future, they look so much fun to drive!
That exhaust note tho 😂
Very nice review Matt! I would love to see more video's like these rather then those boring GM car reviews!
ive always wondered. why isnt the gear configuration flipped too?it makes sense to put first gear closer to you.
One of the better r32 reviews I've seen...
That was really awesome. Great review. I'm glad you had fun. !
Fantastic car of fantastic era. Can't stop smiling watching this
Matt i have a 1973 barracuda I would be more than happy to let you review +subaruwrxfan
Ahhh, finally. Great review. If you are ever in Arizona and want to review a real Nismo spec R32, I can arrange that.
hand over the keys please
+Darrell Gilbert i need your clothes your boots and your keys
Alberto 9324 hahaha deal! I'd just drive naked and sleep in that BEAUTIFUL r32. In fact, I wouldn't care if I were homeless xD
Darrell Gilbert
if i were homeless, and i had i car, it would be cool to sleep in the car
then wake up to dozens of paparazzi trying to ask if they're legal and where'd you get it
Nice clean R32. White isn't my preference, but with that really clean paint and gold wheels, it looks great. Any fan of GTR's should be proud to own this beast.
haha, this guy couldn't stop smiling. I would be the same. I want one bad! it's like a 90's version of hako
I almost died laughing at 10:05. That SPIDER though! LOL.
Spider was like “ yo no one is gonna believe what car I just drove “ lmao
Correction at about 10:03 - the brakes are actually the Sumitomo brakes, as the Brembos were only introduced in the R32 V-Spec and were subsequently used in every trim of the R33 and R34 (except the R34 Z-Tune of course).

saving for this car! I wanna have 1! great review!
Did you get it?
I used to want an r34 but I have grown to love the r32 the most. My dream is to own an r32, r33, and r34 at some point before my life is over.
I saw this car driving through cranberry twp. pa a couple of weeks ago. Such a beautiful car.
Great review Matt! I'm a huge fan of Skylines.....as you can see by my profile picture haha
Awesome review Matt! if I'm not mistaken I believe Doug demuro's stock R32 was dynoed at 286 at the wheels, so that's easily over 300 at the crank. They were under rated from the factory
I'm a muscle car guy, but I'd love to own one of these. Such a cool, fun and beautiful car. And it's from the 90's!!! LOL. A total modern classic.
Great Video man!
wow this skiline r32 looks awesome! i love it
Job well done matt.
Such an awsome review...i love this R32 so much...... u are awsome Matt
I live in a small city in the U.S i saw a skyline gtr i flipped out so the guy in the gtr looks over and is seeing the guy in the red hat looking like he's having sizure 👍

The audio doesn't do it justice, I love the sound of the RB motors...
The love the sound of a RB26DETT!
You can tell how much he actually likes the car he's reviewing by how red he gets while driving it
STR on a GTR, smh...
I was about to comment the same thing! Lol
hey hey hey! easy guys! (they came on the car, I hate them, please don't point them out) :...-( I'm hunting for a good set of Nismo GTLM 1-3's (I don't want LM4'S on a 32..)
bless this decision! Brian Jewell
Said the same thing. Lol
yeah, big fail with those wheels
Wow, what a beauty, I am literally drooling.
U should review more modified imports more often
@subaruwrxfan doing great job with your videos! I'd love to give youtube a go and be as good at doing these reviews as you! Keep it up :)
+subaruwrxfan
What a neat car. So raw and nimble.
I want to detail this car!!! If you ever are in Southern California - let me know. Beautiful car, great review.
the 276 was per a gentleman's agreement. its factory underrated
“This car is finally illegal” love this vid tho. I just bought mine and will do a video soon
NOW WERE TALKING!!! Hang on folks.....that turn onto the sideroad is going to be a beast!!
It looks so good in white.
the day has finally come
Awesome video subaruwrxfan I would love it if you could do a video on a new Volkswagen Golf R manual transmission. I've watched a lot of videos other ppl put up but I'm interested in your take on that car. Thank you!
Just want to say you've def beefed up since your old videos, so good on that haha. You used to look so small in a Subaru XD
I remember playing Playstation 1 with Gran Turismo (1998) and and tried lots of cars... finally me and my friend got the Toyota Supra and it we could tune it to around 900+ HP.... but it was totally undrivable... we could beat it with a lot less horsepower on other cars... Man, that thing sounds amazing. The R32 has always been my favorite iteration of the GT-R. I'd like to own one of these one day in Gun Gray Metallic

@10:05...even that spider had its mind blown by this beauty @_@!!!
i love rb26. i think this is the most exciting and cool japanese car!
I am super jealous. It's a BEAUTY!!!
Just imagine how special it must've felt to drive this thing back in the 90s
We've had these in Australia for years. They are called Grey imports. Only thing with driving right hand drive in the US (and vice versa left hand drive in Oz) is overtaking on single lane roads, especially when you are behind a truck
+GradeSix “Grade 6 Rapids Only” Rapidsonly I also hate turning left at multi lane intersections
Enjoyed the review. Nice job!
Just found this channel it's gonna be a long day with lots of videos haha
My brother just got one or is getting one (it just hit the states off the ship) it’ll be cool to see what it is
I really enjoy your videos keep it up!
Fantastic!!!!!!!! Great Job with the review, really enjoyed it!
I think I stopped breathing when I saw you standing next to this
超カッコいい!
R32GTS-t乗ってたけど、本当に楽しかったです。
GTRじゃもっと楽しいだろうなぁ!
That suspension looks pretty comfy
Nice to see something different !
I'll be buying one in a few years. I like most enjoy restoring cars, cant wait to fix one up to my tastes 😭
Matt ur vids are so good I like them bed watching. u and streetspeed both get likes from me before watching the vid
Great review sir just wondering if you could continue the '90's Japanese car trend and do a Supra or 300zx? Thank you again.
+Josiah Thibodeaux
Yeah great idea, a Supra turbo R would be an excellent car to review. They came in the 1JZ twin turbo option that was never offered in the USA. SO now that they are legal to import you can find them available.
Makes me want one. Although if I could choose, a Nissan S13 Silvia, or maybe a JDM Integra Type R
+Txmj122 You can get a USDM ITR for a good price nowadays
+Bailey Nguyen yeah... Hard to find tho.
***** Haha check for the ITR or Integra forums, they got some for sale last month! It could be your chance, man. :) I love the ITR's and it's my dream FWD car
+Bailey Nguyen they're still rare. They sell infrequently and need to travel a lot to get one. Can't really do that.
