go to 5.25. The drummer has gone down to play guitar. There is no one playing on either drums yet we hear drums.Must have used a drum machine. Then the drummer goes back to play after the singalong. I was there and noticed this but nobody else seemed to. Somebody explain, please. I'm baffled!
@@rolf69ful They were using a drum loop (drum machine) for the majority of the song as the drummer was playing guitar. Then he went back to his kit and played live drums. It's not voodoo.
@@rolf69ful What @graemereaper said. This song is based off the loop. Everyone, including the drummer, plays to the loop. He can then add extra drums on the loop. Don't think you should let it go. Always feel free to ask questions. That is how you learn. And we should all always be open to learning.
Possibly my favourite song ever. This is good, but it’s not as good as they used to do it. It doesn’t have the same sense of urgency as the tempo is slower, and do they really need that many guitarists? I love them though, great band, great spirit and they wrote my favourite ever song. I guess when we can’t repeat things as we used to, we adapt and give a different character or colour to it instead. Perhaps there’s room for different versions. Don’t think any live version will ever sound as exciting as the bbc session from 93. It’s sublime!
Was here. Not far from this point. Bringing back beautiful memories. 💙💚💛🧡❤️ Warms my soul.

James has been playing with prerecorded loops for over 25 years.
Honest Joe, for example
@@waltercoyle6393 thanks Walter. But did you notice that at 6.12 the drummer goes back to his kit? I'm stilled baffled. I should just let it go.
