My father being an immigrant taught me the value of working hard and that things always work out the way they are suppose to. I lost him this year in February so everything he taught me I keep close to my heart 💛

The one lesson my single mom gave me is "only run after those, who run after you" which actually means don't waste your love and energy on those who don't value it or respect you and your efforts .
    💗 love your videos

    • @pandulani

Sounds good as a concept, but it is very counterintuitive in real life. People tend to run after and spend their time in trying to get those who dont have any interest in them. Because it makes them feel alive. Unless you are highly conscious.

LOVED this video! Your mother sounds like a wonderful wise and strong person! I feel like everyone can benefit from these lessons! Way too many people become dependent on their romantic partners and then are trapped permanently and unable to escape a bad situation. I would love to see more of these life lesson videos. ❤️

My mom and I have always been really close. I became a mom myself 6 years ago when my daughter was born, and now I have a 3 year old son too. We live in different states now but I still have long phone conversations with her regularly. The main thing I remember her telling me as a kid was that the Golden rule is to treat others the way you want to be treated. I've always been very kind towards everyone. I hope my daughter and I will end up with the same kind of special relationship I have with my mom that I cherish so much. ❤

Since my childhood I had seen my mom went through a lot. She was treated badly by my dad, by the relatives from my dad's side. But she never gave up, she lived just because of me and my younger brother. She is also a single mom who is taking care of us as my dad lives in another place. She is the most strongest woman for me in this world. Before someday she told me that she is only hoping for me more than my brother, she is just living for me as my brother treats her badly. Now I have a strongest will to do something in my life. One day I'll do something good so that I can take care of her properly and I can be able to remove all her past pains. Thank you so much for this video, it means a lot

Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. The more you grow and develop as an incredible person as you are, the more things will change for the better. Forgive more (for you), be grateful for even the smallest things (we have it way better than someone else), choose love over ego, choose humility over ego (humility is strength), and finally, invest into new skills so that your future self will thank you. Our lives will change forever the more we grow. Be thankful for the challenges for we know something greater is coming. Love you always - Nathalie ✨❤️

Wonderful video; thank you! 🙏🏻 Wow, it really inspired me to think more about my Mom…one life lesson that I’ve learned from Mom is to be selective about who I have around me…my inner circle, if you will. We can always be kind and friendly to people; yet, if someone does not have a strong sense of self and a deep spirituality, then they are not a match for my inner circle. ⭕️ That is really beautiful and profound modeling, now that I think about it. Thanks, again! 💞

I believe that things happen 'for us' ...not '... to us', but it sometimes takes hindsight & time for us to have the perspective where we can appreciate the learning & growth we get from the event. Your mum is obviously a wise lady who has learned from all she has been through & the learning she has shared with you has in some way benefited us all via you.
Thank you for your wonderful authenticity & the great advice you share with us all. 💚🙏

These lessons you've mentioned are what i learned by my own for the past years, struggling through my mental health and self love, self acceptance journey. I'm not that close w my mom and even right now i kinda see myself hate her for being my mom. My dad struggles a lot since university years (or maybe childhood?) because he's the first child and i'm the first child too. I feel more connected w my dad because he understands what i'm going through as the first child. He taught me a lot of things in life while in contrary, my mom doesn't really teach me. For the past years, i've been struggling w my own emotions, self love, and self acceptance. Now i'm trying to be who i am and just find my true self. Taking all the life lessons from you, other people, and other resources help me a lot on my journey. I don't exactly remember when was my first time watching your vid but i'm so grateful i found this channel and learn a lot. I'm also working on my dream life so i can be my true self and be happy w myself! Thankyou so much for all the vids you've made in this channel. It truly helps me a lot💐

I love this video and learning about this side of you. It’s funny, we have similar stories. My mom was the youngest of 11 children, so I too have a big family with lots of cousins. My dad left to live in Haiti so my mom raised me and my sisters alone. She had her sisters and brothers and my paternal grandmother but still. One of the valuable lessons she taught me was that people if people hurt me, I have to be able not to fly off the handle and manage me temper. Because it’s something that happens people hurt other people. Even unintentionally.

That its always more important to know something than it is not to. Growing up that's what my dad thought and educated me about topics many traditionally would have considered me too young to know. By the time I hit highschool, I was the one with the most knowledge and ended up being the "guru" to my classmates.

This is a really touching vidéo. I really liked it. One thing i think about is "don't do to others what you would not like to be done to you" something like karma I would say. Sometimes I forget that I should still say to people when they hurt me.

Omg I *have* *to* look into your birth chart to see the MC/IC axis, ruling planets, Moon, ..and how it all ties in to the rest of your chart starting from your ASC & chart ruler!!🧐
Btw your mother is Gorgeous 💖✨
My dad raised me, and was practically my dad and mom to me.. even requested gifts on Mother's Day😂 When I got some input from Vedic astrology on my MC/IC, my "mom" figure came up exactly as my dad🤣
My dad was born handsome, was always popular, the student council president, and so on.. but sometimes a little funny:
He came with me to my entrance exam (in math), looked around in the waiting room, said with 100% seriousness, "See how I'm the most good looking parent here? As the daughter of this most gorgeous parent, there's no way you can't pass this exam!! Okay?! Be Confident!!" I was too shocked to remind him it wasn't a test for a model agency but a math dept..🤣🤣 and that I was the one taking the exam, not him💫 He taught me to be confident...? I guess?

    • @lavendaire

I also wanted to add something interesting, that I was reflecting on in my personal life with my mother, and I think you may relate on some level. I think one of the reasons why I was always striving to succeed was to on some level be able to support my mother, and all this masculine energy of productivity was created so that I am able to fill a void, since my father's character is the type that is a bit absent... That's okay, i love both my parents, but just reflecting on this

    1. how to be independent - being independent is not easy in normal life because of financial issue, which can cause trouble in each family. But, the solution is truthful talk about what 'I' want to do to family.
    2. buddhism&spirituality - I do not believe in buddhism, but the truth is that being a good person can do good deeds:)
    3. never owe anyone anything - it's very true. Because, paying back is important to keep sustained relationship!
    4. self love&enjoying being alone - we spend a lot of alone time more than before, so we need efficient time management to keep through the schedule.
    5. always continue learning - it's important as we get aged. As a Korean, I know that how much learn and know decides my future and wealth even though that's not at all. The more we learn, the more we get:)

Well.. what can I say about my mom.
Unfortunately, she is not the ideal : love to compare me with someone else speaking mean words, always making me feel so small and such. Growing up, never felt like I was good enough.
But kind of lesson learned is that I should not be like her unless I want my kids to break up with me. Since, I know it so well, I am doing the exact opposite to my kids and we are good! 😄 Haha.

I learned from my mom that you should rely on yourself and don't rely on men or anyone. Because mom is living a hard time with my father he doesn't respect her or help her with anything in spite of she taking care of him and respects him well, I know now people say why she didn't leave him and live her life ...
I will tell you that she didn't continue her education even though she doesn't have any job to rely on it. That makes her situation miserable.
Every time I see my mom suffering
I hope to die because I love her and I can't see her living like this It hurts 💔
