Funny that Chino says this song was a mistake, but they played live it until last year.
In 2012 they stopped playing it.

@Fixacny krem blendadent supposedly they only made the song because their label wanted something that could be more easily marketed, so they used Pink Maggit for “Back to School,” both are great songs but obviously Pink Maggit is way more emotional than “Back to School.”

Why hasn't anyone posted their whole show from Reading that year? I bet it was sick. The 14 minute 4-song clip is my favorite Deftones live clip on youtube. Can only imagine how good the whole show was.
It sucks that the crowd looks so mundane cause this is one of my favorite versions of this song :/

I saw Deftones at the same festival 2 years after this and the crowd was even more dead. I was so into it but the Reading crowd is such a pile of trash in general. If you want a good crowd you go to download :) Hopefully deftones will be back there next year !

The sad state of modern multi genre festivals. Very few there for the music. Selfie taking fucks who need to qualify how much fun they are having by constantly live streaming onto a social network, whilst getting off their face.
Its because reading is mostly a shitty pop festival so the majority of the crowd wouldn't know what good music was if it hit them in the face, Download festival crowd would and do appreciate the deftones way more, heard they were amazing this year at download festival

@1zv i have been going to reading sice 1998 as a fan and i have been lucky enough to get security work for the past 5 years....i wasnt working when the Deftones were on so i was out in the crowd and it was just awful...full of people waiting to cry at my chemical romance.......Chino is a living legend.

I was there and can I say the people where I were about 20 metres from the stage went mental. The cameramen in this video only seem to be pointing at the more static parts of the crowd.
