A lot of people ask me: What is a stock float and why does it matter?
Before you can understand stock floats you have to understand the concept of outstanding shares - the total number of shares, including both restricted and unrestricted stocks.
Unrestricted, “floating” stock is the number of shares available for trading. Restricted shares aren’t part of the public float, because they’re subject to - you guessed it - certain restrictions.
There are also two types of stock floats: low floats and big floats.
A low-float stock trades millions of shares a day. A big-float stock trades billions of shares in a day.
These patterns can be tricky. You need to pay attention to these stocks to take advantage of them.
Some can have lots of volatility and move quickly. Make sure you’re prepared! Check out this video to get on the right track.
Do you trade low float or big float stocks? Which do you prefer? Leave a comment below and let me know.

Wow.. answered my question and more. Sounds like a very tricky game. I heard you say you stay away from low floats on your alerts.. but.. as precise and meticulous as you are, I would think you would incorporate them as well. Just my opinion and what I take from the video cause there's no doubt in my mind you probably can and have scored big with them. Thanks for this!

Learned a lot from this quick, short video. Very informative and to the point. I like the no nonsense presentation of the material. Too many presenters like to use big words that a) they can't spell and b) they can't pronounce. What a breath of fresh air. I wish I had come across your material years ago. Anyway, better late than never.
