I remember watching the evening news in Sweden as a kid. It was during the Swedish rally and some well known international Rally driver had crashed and was injured. There was this clip when the ambulance was going to the accident scene. A Volvo 960 Ambulance (rwd, straight six, automatic. Google it) was just drifting past the camera crew sideways around a bend with blue lights flashing, just disappearing into a cloud of white smoke continuing it's journey. It was quite surreal to see, a fridge like car doing rally speeds driven by a paramedic, when an international rally driver had crashed in his souped up 4wd rally car.

Literally had a 2011 Dodge Charger retired hwp car and it was very fun, came with better suspension and a stage 1 chip. Easily roasts tires, my problem with this car, it’s so damn heavy that it feels like a boat in water. The other part is 8 mpg in the city, I’d get up to 40 on the highway but could never get more than 10 in the city. Their also were sensors starting to go out around 100k miles and the transmission was replaced at 80k miles and at 120k it was already breaking again. I wouldn’t suggest this car to anyone unless you have money. The transmissions are pretty pricey when I was looking at them, they wanted 7k but I got the car for 10k. Sold the car bought a brand new Subaru and even though I’ve got literally 1/3 of the power in my Subaru Impreza I’ve had way more fun with it.

I think the AWD version is also a V6, but it has around 300hp vs the 275hp. Dodge doesn't make a AWD V8 system for the Chargers/Challengers because they say it's too costly and doesn't work right. To which I say, but what about the Durango?
