That's so cute and perfect for someone on a small holding that wants smaller more manageable bales, especially when you don't have a huge number of live stock or for just horses.
@@Ringele5574 with mine we run it with a 40 hp tractor and its more than enough to run the baler and have wagons behind it. I don't know if the newer baler aren't as easy to run or something but the old ones should work fine
The bales would be hard to be picked up by hand would take many to feed 5 cows and 10 goats will eat a large bale if you have less than that amont of animals are you really a 'farm' with animals or just a petting zoo?
The old style 2 or 3 rectangle bales are best for small acreage. These small round balers are relatively new. Given my choice for this size of field. I'd take traditional bales anytime over these.
nice looking hay crop. i wonder why the choice was made to use the mini-baler instead of full size baler. gonna take forever and a day to process that crop.
@@hershellinnenbringer4058 you have my sympathies. The AC tractor with the hands operated power director clutch was the best match for the Roto bailer. Anything else would be torture.

@@ramonluftgekuhltdx631 the u joints in the knuckles on either end can go bad if not maintained and greased or go bad over time. On our farm we had a Miller pro rotary rake pto shaft shatter in half. While it was on.
@@kurtisb100 you are right, i think they were 50kg on the website or somthing I can't remember now. I'm not the greatest at metric conversins anyways but I know it's 2.23lbs. I've been sick with the rona and just can't think really well right now, my oxygen levels have been pretty terrible low 90's. High 80's or whatever. All I know is the doc says anything below 96 isn't good.

It was made to be used on steep mountain terrain that would tip over a normal sized baler or tractor. It supposedly has a really low center of mass, and a small tractor is a lot more maneuverable in hilly tight areas. Atleast that's what the website says.. I still don't know what the trick would be to keep the bales from rolling down the hill though.
@@keithclark486 Since old bailers are junk people don't want to restore them when they do they don't get crap for the I figure another idea. Small bailers would be prime around here every farm is subdividing 3 acre minimum.

David, it depends on who is handling what 🤣🤣🤣 Small round bales have there purposes as do small rectangles. But there is a lot of different in size of the 2 baling machines 🇦🇺
I don't think these minnie round balers make much sense. The bales are so small it defeats the purpose of a round baler, and you have to spend so much time running around a field with a loader for these tiny bales.. You would be better off with square baler, and they can be had for next to nothing.

I reckon regular square bales are easier to stack/store. Depending on the compact tractor I'm sure they can be run just fine.
square bales take more power to make than round bales but they are definitely more ergonomical.
