Now if it could stack them, either on the ground or on a wagon, then you'd have me as a customer. Was planning to build a multi spike hay spear for mine, sort of like a manure fork
You can stack them on a trailer. bales are placed perpendicular to trailer frame. I staked 54 on a trailer last Sunday. We will probably make a 12 bale unit to decrease time.
Less Cost, Less Horsepower requirements, less maintenance for a 30-60lb bale. No worn out knotter system to fight causing delays. Easy to haul and store also. No reciprocating forces on the tractor and operator. Constant load on the tractor PTO verses a surge load on the tractor PTO system
And the most important thing is the space. I can cut and bale places as small as one acre, hardly turn a small square baler around in that space. My mini round is three point so I barely add four feet to the back of the tractor.
I reckon one big benefit of rounds over squares are if you bale them and they’re a bit “hot” you can leave them out in the paddock to cool off without rain affecting them anywhere near as much as square bales.
Once you get the hang of it, that thing looks like it works pretty good!
This is perfect I would definitely want this when I get my mini baler and stuff for make my own hay as one person this is ideal
Thanks for watching. The final version will be a little different.
@@smallfarminnovations4265when are y'all coming out with this thing? I Bale over 3,000 mini round bales a year and I would love to have this thing.

We will offer them with our new non China made balers in 2023. We have a coupe more modifications to make but we think the unit will work good.

@@smallfarminnovations4265 Let us know when these are for sale, thanks!
@@TheGsellers Keep watchin my channel we hope to have some ready by March 2023 8 and 12 bale units
Do you end up with much damage to the bales from them being pushed along the ground? Any damage to twine wrap at all please? Thanks
Have not seen any but you shouldn't leave it on the ground all the time just when your loading and unloading the bales.
Dose it work well for stacking on a trailer going 3 to 4 row's high?
no it would need to be stacked more like firewood unless your trailer has sides
How much does the bale weigh ??? This is brilliant !!!
These bales weigh between 40 or 50 pounds depending on the density setting on your mini baler
I have the mini baler but have to pick them up by hand and put them on a trailer then off to the barn.... I sure would love one of thos gadgets
What model/size tractor is in the video? Also what brand of mini round baler was used?
TYM T354. 35 Engine HP 28 at the PTO ... SFI Baler made to our specs in India.

Is there a benefit to the small round baler over a small square baler?
