I tried to follow a Native woman from my home state of Arizona doing this technique and I just didn't get it, which brought me to a lovely Russian lady (w/subtitles) and she confused me more. And they brought me here! Thank you. I finally think I've got it.

Always amazing videos. Love this pattern. Mexico beading style is very beautiful and in some cases pretty close to a peyote stitch. Love the brilliant colors used in huichol beadwork. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice stitch. You need a 'No More "OOPS" Beading Tray' by Lakeside Jewelry. They are sold on etsy. Works great at keeping your different colored/size beads separate. The trays come lettered or numbered. You can special order them as well. I have 3 of the trays and love, love, love them! Keep up the beautiful work Spoilt Rotten Beads!

I was so excited to get this free pattern and follow along with this tutorial. Then I found out I have to start a membership and pay $30 before I can get a free pattern. I'd rather pay for individual patterns. $30 seems like a lot to try something out for free. lol Other than that, fantastic video!
