if it was a melee weapon one could argue for it. Its better for mg builds tho. can actually heal pet reliably. If your an ogmir with a bow tho all someone has to do is get in your face and you will never break free of them due to the speed.
Been playing this build and testing it out a lot recently. The damage is INSANE, and you can pick up mounted archery and go wild with an asymetry bow too. But solo pvp or small scale pvp on foot is painful. Every other race can run up, fight until low health, back off to heal and re-engage. Its amazing for pushing large fights, but be ready for the frustration of every other class dictating when the fight ends.
Then porb. you are a noob as once the target wants to run out from you with low HP, there is nothing easier like switch to bow and finish him. 😎

Sure
I'm playing this build currently and I love it. As long as you're not pvping solo with this build you rarely have to think about your HP. You just walk around and mercy people. I have 22% piercing rings with steel spear and I can almost one shot mages.
My friend and I just got the game played 20 hours both of us humans and we felt useless and we have decided to delete them, and I think I'm gonna follow this guide and he is going to follow the elf guide you made. You think these will play well together? Cause originally we were both were going to try your elf build. Your thoughts ?

@@Devildog0491 it looks like theres controlled aiming and aiming technique now in the game. do you recommend getting these 2 somehow? drop endurance and some heavy armor training?

At the end of the day you could be whatever you want and use whatever weapon you want if your good enough. I think that ogh on a top 10 percent of pvpers are S tier on all the categories.

Flexible, dependant on your team. You wont be the best at anything but you can do most stuff decently well.

Everyone recommend to make age 31 for foot fighter,why age 30 on your build?
Do you have any build ideas that might involve something similar (bows and axes), but less focused on tank and more focused on say like...survival? I'm a solo that really just wants to like...hunt and make money, not hugely focused on PVP. Being able to 1v1 or 1v2 is nice but I'd rather just avoid the fights tbh.
Alvarin full Veela foot fighter. 31 years old, max height, max dex, max str. You can go from lean to stout depending on if you want to be faster or a bit tankier. If you go lean, nothing catches you on foot. You can also put points into swimming, which lets you evade like 90%+ of players if you jump into deep water. You also have access to 50% less fall damage and 100% jump height with weapons out through your clades, which are both nice for evading fights.
@@whataday443 That sounds pretty awesome! I might go with a Veela if that's the case then. If I did want to have a bit more damage in my melee and focus more on said melee, with like spears or axes, would Thursar be a better option? They seem more like the 'brawl' type of race. I know STR is used in Bows in this game, so it seems like Thursar might be a good option for a like...85% melee, 15% ranged focus. The bow for more like, PVE focus, maybe pecking arrows at people that run or are particularly far away.
@@BucketKingu Well, do you want to evade fights or not? If you do, then forget about everything other than the Veela.
Veelas have clades that give them +20 bonus str when using bows, they still won't be able to pull as much as a max str Thursar or Oghmir, but they're not super far behind either. And they get many clades that give them better harvesting yield, so it's great for farming.
If you want to actually pvp, the stout Veela is also one of the best builds in the game for that. Yes, they are very meta...
Thursars are great duelists, they're king in 1v1 and you'll see a lot of very good players use them, but I wouldn't recommend it to new players. The skill ceiling is high and they offer nothing outside of combat.
I'd say go Veela if you want to mostly solo and farm. Or go with the Oghmir build in this video if you want to group PvP. Both are solid choices.
You might have to re-roll and start over a few times before you figure out what you like to play, almost everyone does that.

As an ma/footie ogh main I would amend 1v1 to be b tier.
You straight up can't win against a dex build. Period. Dex mage kites until they get mana back and Veela footie just walks out, heals up and comes back in.

I think you are confusing skill cap with skill floor.
How are you able to hit 85 dex on this? Im following the build but my max is only 80 after creating the character

You have no extraction skills at all. Are you just buying ore and metals? And why scales lore and mammalia/management? Also you have no armor crafting. Do you buy steel+ armor?
