Thanks for coming out to the house this weekend, i'll see about hitting you guys up at some point, would love to buy a metal detector at some point myself
Good job guys. My first year metal detecting was too find a wheat and a silver coin. It was hard trying to find in the beginning. Wheats are Amaya good finds in my opinion. Keep on getting better John
What a fun, expansive place to detect! 👍🏼. I too have found countless pieces of silver coins and wheat pennies from my parks over the years. Congrats! Keep on getting stronger! 💪🏼
Good to see you back out John! I'm trying to get used to the new camera though. I like the old one better? I'm still on the fence about that. 🤔 Anyway, good job John and Charlie! 💰👍🙂
I remember you had me out there a few years back. You found the most amazing gold class ring from Clemson, year 1911 ! That place has been hammered but it's good to see you get back out there.
The golfers used to use silver dimes to mark where their ball was positioned on the green. Silver is easier to see from a distance than copper or anything else and sets low enough in the green to not mess with other players who putt first.
I just found my first Merry Widows can this week! I’d never even heard of it until I dug it up. Btw, I think I must live really close to y’all! Would love to dig with y’all one day!
If you ever run low on content, you should re-release some old golf course highlights with modern commentary dubbed over the top. Loads of your users haven’t seen those old videos and I bet you’d enjoy the trip down memory lane too!
I had no clue either until someone mentioned it in one of my older videos, who knew? www.google.com/search?q=aerator+shoes&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwiZyfD-4fX8AhVCjeAKHVJiBS4Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=aerator+shoes&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzIECAAQQzIFCAAQgAQyBQgAEIAEMgYIABAHEB4yBggAEAcQHjIGCAAQBxAeMgYIABAHEB4yBggAEAcQHjIGCAAQBxAeMgYIABAIEB46BAgjECdQhANYhANg8gRoAHAAeACAAYQBiAHMAZIBAzEuMZgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=gxzbY9n7OMKaggfSxJXwAg&bih=881&biw=1745&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS904US904

Hello John,Charlie
I hear ya, looks like a great place to kill several years of afternoons 👍

Very nice hunt!
Those cut coins are probably ball markers. Golfers use to cut pennies in 4 or 5 pieces rather than buy markers.
Great hunt…as usual. Side question, which GoPro do you use?
I live by a old golf course found many silver s coins and other stuff
flat buttons are dated to 1790's-1820's.
