More violin, check out “Angreifer”, official live video. Also, Jill, the violinist, does a cover of Van Halen, “Eruption “, and Yngwie Malmsteen,”Far Beyond The Sun”!!🔥
For more violin check out The Tower of the Blood live: ua-cam.com/video/OVKc7jJ54UI/v-deo.html it's live and starts with a violin solo. Besides that, their definite must watch is Angreifer live ua-cam.com/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/v-deo.html Not a drum solo, but Dead Leaves Rising starts with a bass solo with some drums: ua-cam.com/video/9yl1EE8EIgQ/v-deo.html Also, Unlucky Morpheus is best enjoyed live. I'd also recommend going for the older stuff, which is more epic in general. Their current album is a bit poppy.
Jill(violin) is actually my favorite member of Unlucky Morpheus. After Shiren (founder, original lead guitarist) started suffering from an injury that limits his playing, they rewrote a lot of his solos for Jill, which is insane if you think about it. If you want more of her--and who doesn't--here are the best clips to check out: My top suggestion for a live clip: “Angreifer” ua-cam.com/video/gGKWgM4IOgc/v-deo.html Here are links to UM’s instrumental project Quadratum: Cover of van Halen "Eruption" ua-cam.com/video/eTb0TQtVT6k/v-deo.html Cover of Malmsteen "Far Beyond the Sun" ua-cam.com/video/E2hZDzJp9Pc/v-deo.html Cover of Dream Theater, played blindfolded: ua-cam.com/video/8eZVVtaOBKk/v-deo.html Others have suggested some of these, and I second those suggestions.
Yesterday they released a trailer for their new live Blu-Ray. They have at least one song on English but not on UA-cam what I know but it is on the new Blu-ray
It should been "Unending Sorceress" for newer MV from them, but "Opfer" will always be my favorite. I agree "Angriefer" and "Revadac/Cadaver" is a real masterpiece they have done. Fuyuki❤️Unlucky Morpheus🔥🤘🎌
They just released a great high def live of this song. Great reaction! they have really great live performances you can see and hear Jill the violinist tear the stage up. This song is more of one of they're happier songs. They have a great history and live performances.
My favorite song by UM is "Unending Sorceress" which does have a lot of violin, a lot of growling, Fuki is wearing horns, there's guitar solos, it has everything except a bass solo. For bass their song "Knight of Sword" is the best original so far that I've found, but I'm still delving into their catalogue. "Unending Sorceress" ua-cam.com/video/PCv3s0T4bx0/v-deo.html
Nice! It's their most pop sounding song, and it's not their usual style, try《opfer》,《angreifer》or《phantom blood》all live version please, they're a amazing live band! i'm still waiting for your unlucky morpheus week😆
If u want more of the violin, should definitely check out some of their live performances. "Angreifer" and "Get Revenge on The Tirant" are some of my recommendations!! Great reaction btw
Необычный выбор песни) Здесь они больше экспериментируют с жанром, такого рода песен у них очень мало. Если хотите услышать песню на английском у них - то такая есть, называется Carry on singing to the sky. Также, если хотите услышать больше скрипки, то советую такие песни как Angreifer live и Tower of blood live. Эта группа очень многогранна на самом деле, и чтобы увидеть все их грани, вам придется послушать много их песен) Но оно того стоит, поверьте.
If you want to see and hear more of Jill's violin you should watch their live videos. She's way more featured and at the front of the mix live than in their music videos. Not the least because she plays a lot of guitarist Shiren's solos in their newer performances (Shiren's got chronic tendonitis in his arm(s) so he only does the harsh vocals in some of their songs at their concerts). As already said before, they have one song in English, called "Carry on Singing to the Sky" (Fuki has better English pronounciation than the majority of Japanese vocalists, even though she doesn't speak English). UM generally doesn't really use a lot of English or unoriginal Japanese in their songs. "M" Revolution is one of the exceptions and because it's a lyric video you can see the English used in the song. Everything that's English is written in English, everything that's Japanese is in Japanese characters. Japanese bands often incorporate the lyrics in their videos, which makes it pretty easy to see if they're using English (Nemophila did it the same way in their last few music videos).
I've been waiting for you to discover Unlucky Morpheus on this journey. They have been together since 2008 and started as an anime cover song band. Someone has already suggested The Tower of the Blood - and that is my personal favorite UM song (Jill is Spectacular). They also have a song that will intrigue you called Cadaver/Revadac -- which is the same melody with different lyrics in the 2nd half (which is played backwards!!) ua-cam.com/video/gxN3L2jrrEI/v-deo.html (official MV 4K) ua-cam.com/video/6itVHjWgYLs/v-deo.html (LIVE 360p) If you really want more of Jill on violin, check out a side-project of Unlucky Morpheus (Quadratum) with 3 members backing Jill, who plays violin covers of classic rock songs from Yngwie Malmsteen (Far Beyond the Sun) ua-cam.com/video/E2hZDzJp9Pc/v-deo.html , RacerX (Technical Difficulties) ua-cam.com/video/33Z21zuML2g/v-deo.html , and Dream Theater (The Dance of Eternity) ua-cam.com/video/clB3yOKaayE/v-deo.html . Jill was a prodigy and has years of classical training - she was a Paganini specialist. Ankimo, as they are known in Japan, is my FAVORITE band in the whole world. (Please don't tell Lovebites) :0) Carry on my beautiful Lunatic, the J-Metal wormhole is a cavernous black hole of wonders. p.s. for something very d i f f e r e n t you could react to Maximum the Hormone
If you love guitar solos, you should check out "Angel Of Salvation" by Galneryus. The band has by far the best guitarist & male vocalist in all of Japan.
The lyrics are important for their songs. Try these live videos. These two songs are about vampires and are like suites. " VAMPIR + OPFER LIVE English + Romaji Lyrics" "[Lyrics(EngSub)] Unlucky Morpheus -「Angreifer(Live)」"
So, you like guitar solos, eh?! Well, then you NEED to listen to "In'el" by First Fragment because the song is not only 90% guitar solos, but also straight up some of the best solos I've ever heard--especially since it incorporates some classical guitar. It was 100% my song of 2021. Also, their song "Gloire Eternelle" is really good. Also, Unlucky Morpheus is my favourite band, and some of my favourite songs by them are "Angreifer"(which in my opinion has some of their best solos and is my favourite song of all time), "Cadaver/Revadac"(this one uses total retrograde so well and has some amazing solos), "The tower of blood"(Jill's violin solos are insane in this one), "Mouryou no Misshitsu"(some crazy solos), "konohatengu"(some more crazy violin and guitar solos), "Karasutengu", "Satsuriku no miseru", "jealousy of silence", "perverseness", "Opfer", "Unending Sorceress", "Unkonown Child", "Toraware no bokura", etc
I'm not giving up: You keep talking about what guitar solos do to you, so you owe it to yourself to check out this group: Hagane. I think they are taking a serious shot at rivaling Lovebites for sheer guitar bad-assery. “Soul Beats”: ua-cam.com/video/k8NTRJ_yTxY/v-deo.html The rhythm line seamlessly melds rock and funk throughout. The guitar solo is classic jazz fusion, but with distortion. The heavy use of minor and diminished scales gives it a vaguely middle-eastern vibe, but jacked up to searing intensity. “Super Villan” ua-cam.com/video/MCqzm0nUxbM/v-deo.html Huge guitar duet, with give and take and a lot of experimental ideas. If they can keep putting out stuff this good, they are going to be huge.
As a bonus, you cannot go wrong with Rami, one of the best vocalists I know. Try her in ua-cam.com/video/GOpi-w4EUvE/v-deo.html with guitar from Syu. :) Plus, you'll fall in love with her ;)
if you like violin, guitar solos, classically influenced metal check out Quadratum from Unlucky Morpheus (4 of the members minus singer and one guitarist) this is a link to the song far beyond the sun by Yngwie Malmsteen ua-cam.com/video/E2hZDzJp9Pc/v-deo.html originally it was an instrumental with guitar as the lead and in this version Jill (violinist) plays the guitar parts so she is front and center for whole song. they have a whole record of instrumental cover songs by some of the best guitarists from 80s and 90s with Jill taking on the guitar parts

I consider this is one of the weaker songs I have heard from them. It's certainly not bad, but they do have stronger ones. The musicianship is fantastic as always though. Definitely give Unending Sorceress a listen. Love that song and the music video is really cool as well.
I don't like this one among their songs .The reason is that this song is about " Majang= a Chinese gamble game played by 4 players" which is very popular in Japan and China ,and they like this M-game a lot , so they made this song for fun , therefore (?) this is very poppy and shallow , and only the closed circle members can understand it in full meaning . By the way I am Japanese ))

完全に同意します。😉
Yesterday they released a trailer for their new live Blu-Ray. They have at least one song on English but not on UA-cam what I know but it is on the new Blu-ray
"Carry on singing to the sky" is a song entirely in English and is a tribute to Brazilian singer André Matos, who passed away in 2019
It should been "Unending Sorceress" for newer MV from them, but "Opfer" will always be my favorite. I agree "Angriefer" and "Revadac/Cadaver" is a real masterpiece they have done.

Tower of the Blood live for guitar/violin battle
Amazing musicians
Definitely check out the live video for angrifier
Like others say, I recommend
《 The Tower Of The Blood 》
《 Far beyond The Sun 》highly. Violinist Jill is amazing. 👍

Not my favorite ; they are a little pop metal fir me but that drummer is a beautiful beast !!!

Have you done singing to the sky?
