Wow what an exciting video reaction! I want to see your reaction to the new Lovebites video from the 2021 concert in Japan, in full pandemic, "Set The World On Fire". Greetings from Japan!
Hello, thank you for the video. I would like to see your reaction to Diana Ankudinova's speech. This young singer with an amazing voice and artistry will surprise you
Asami's singing background and education is from Soul and R&B. This is what gives Lovebites a very different sound from other Progressive/Power/ Thrash Metal bands. Check out the Live from the studio version of "Inspire" and "Liar" and "Burden of Time".
Each guitarist writes their own solos - there's backstage footage of both guitarists on their own killing time by improvising solo work before a show (both on guitar and piano!).
from Awake Again live from Abyss live studio album Haruna has a solo on Eagle Fly Free (Helloween Cover) also check out from this album Burden of Time and Shadowmaker. The names are Guitars Midori (Blonde) Asami Singer Guitar and Piano Miyako Bass Miho (Also founder that left) Drummer and co founder Haruna.
This song is from the concert DVD/bluray called Five of a Kind live in Tokyo 2020 and as for haruna (the drummer) the only solo that shows her skills is their cover for Halloween’s Eagle Fly Free ua-cam.com/video/To21HILZvYE/v-deo.html this also has a bass solo showing Miho as well along with Midori and Miyako the other guitarists and Asami’s singing in this song is amazing
Hello Anastasia, greetings from Greece 🇬🇷 Great reaction and analysis, I love also your enthusiasm. These girls are flawless perfection, aren’t they? I hope soon you will gifting us your reaction to their latest video “Set The World On Fire”. Keep up the smiles and the enthusiasm! 😊😊
I remember a short drum solo in the cover version to "Eagle Fly Free" by Helloween. LOVEBITES did it in their studio live stream session (you will remember that one, it had produced a lot of good "quasi live" videos during the Covid restrictions. I think, it was called "Awake Again" and was the 3rd anniversary of their first album "Awakening From Abyss" (2017) on Oct 25th, 2020. Search for "Studio Live". Well, it's the only LOVEBITES cover of "Eagle Fly Frell" apart from Miyako's piano cover, which is also great. In that LOVEBITES cover, all of them get a little solo, Miho as well, but especially Haruna...
If someone asks for Swan Song be fore to look for the Five of a Kind one with the chopin Revolutionary Etude Miyako solo with it at the beginning of the song.
you listen to crowd reactions from both lovebites and banmaid, and would so like to see them play in a superdome. the sound of the crowd would be almost deafening. so good.
This particular song falls into thrash metal subgenre, with the fast pounding beats of the drums and all. Kinda like old Slayer or Metallica songs. They wore the jackets for this first song only, and took them off on the next song. This whole concert consists of 19 songs, imagine Asami has to maintain her vocals throughout the concert. And drummer Haruna... what an amazing stamina she has!! Try their latest live video, "Set The World On Fire" from their newest concert tour. It's just another level of awrsomeness 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Haruna is always soloing. She makes herself felt constantly and is not just a backbeat. As someone said Eagle Fly Free which is a cover she does one. Dystopia Symphony has some runs where it is just piano and drums. Rising has some impressive drum work. Addicted her entrance is massive but doesn't come through as hard on the live version as studio.
I love your reactions to them. I react like this too, except im in my home office, and my wife is downstairs thinking im crazy lol. But seriously you absolutely need to see their new live song that just Dropped "Set the World on Fire" Midori the blonde Guitarist does a mind-bending Solo in it, it's absolutely insane how fast she is. Its straight-up old-school speed thrash like early Metallica, I think you will absolutely love it.
Really enjoying your reactions. As a rock guitarist myself, I'll say every guitarist has their own unique style based on who influenced them as they were learning to play (I'm sure the same is true for singers). So in almost all cases, a guitarist will compse his/her own solos. I do know (through twitter) that Midori and Miyako spend hours at each other's houses outside of band rehearsal to coordinate their parts to pull off those harmonized solos. That's not easy to do. If you make a mistake and miss a note by yourself, no one notices. But with those harmonized duel leads, if one or the other misses a note, it will sound like a trainwreck. But these ladies pull it off flawlessly. If you want to hear Haruna do a drum solo, look for their cover of Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free". Looking forward to the next reaction.
Lovebites comes from a Halestorm song, Love Bites (So do I). They thought it cought their attitude perfectly, so they used the song title for the band.
All of them are involved in composing their music but there is a principal composer for each song. Asami (V) writes a lot of the lyrics; Miyako (guitar, dark hair) and Miho (Bass) have composed most of their songs to date, along with their collaborator Mao, but all of them have composed at least one song that they performed live. Once the songs are set, each guitarist writes her own solos. Haruna does not take true drum solos, but if you want to see a tour-de-force by her, it is their latest video: "Set the World on Fire". ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html Actually, it's a tour-de-force for all of them. If the band don't continue, they will have left on a monumental note.
Hi, Hiawatha, since they (or their team/management) already changed the homepage by erasing Miho from the background picture which shows the band (now it's like "Four of a kind", sadly enough), they seem to prepare the future without their former bandmate without delay; and they are right to do so, they got to use the momentum and speed up rather than slowing down; the awesome new song they released this week hints at that same direction, too (that they are determined to continue the work of Lovebites). The amount of (international) fame and popularity they gained since the beginning of 2020 in particular is a precious treasure that they must preserve by all means, imho.
More or less everybody is involved in the writing, but I think Miyako (to the right) writes most music and Asami (singer) writes most lyrics. But still the other ones too write songs. Also Haruna on drums has written one. And I think Midori and Miyako makes their own solos. Unfortunately Haruna never does any drum solos. The most of that kind you can see in their Helloween cover of Eagle fly free. From a studio live concert, made during pandemic. Overall you see plenty of her there. Its an amazing song and its very fun to watch them in studio...in no stage clothes :)
Haruna, the drummer, with Miho got the band together. Before they were in a band called Destrose. Haruna is a freaking amazing drummer. She knows how to get into that pocket and helps drive the band. I thought I was the only person who noticed Asami bouncing, I haven't heard it mentioned until you noticed it. You are great.
LOVEBITES - Thunder Vengeance lyrics: Gods of vengeance Standing in the nightmare The peal of thunder broke me and more When losing my eye The days will pass before me A faded memory of what used to be Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Flames of despair burning My blood is boiling inside me Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Inner enraged demon is becoming me Here come days of revenge Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye Lost in the rage These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive Into the blackness Don’t reveal weakness Hiding my curses, pay off an old grudge Forgotten feelings, other than resentment Don’t even mind giving others pain Damn the redemption (Do it) Drowning confusion (Do it) Doom filled with righteous indignation Where’s my salvation? Damn the redemption (Do it) Drowning confusion (Do it) Does my life have meaning? Am I a speck of dust? I’ve got blood on my hands I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name Die in the sands Your sins will never be erased or washed away Beaten down but the hatred’s growing Rotten pain that is never healing Only I can end my suffering I won’t kneel down because of yesterday Gods of vengeance Standing in the nightmare The peal of thunder broke me and more When losing my eye The days will pass before me A faded memory of what used to be Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Flames of despair burning My blood is boiling inside me Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Inner enraged demon is becoming me Here come days of revenge Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye Lost in the rage These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive Blood on my hands I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name Die in the sands Your sins will never be erased or washed away ----- lyrics: miho music: miho & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Late reply to this reaction. Love this song. It's Miho's, so it is amazing to see her full body head banging and singing her heart out next to Asami near the end of it. Haruna with the drum solo too! The perfect opening song. Did you go to Tokyo? I 100% need to go. Maybe they will come here and maybe they won't, but I don't think I want to wait and see.
Their way to highlight their instrumentalists is very Helloween, probably the band that influences them the most there's a cover of the legendary hit Eagle Fly Free ua-cam.com/video/To21HILZvYE/v-deo.html, and the live show in Madrid for Helloween ua-cam.com/video/cwBpgobasqI/v-deo.html, begging for a double reaction. That's Helloween with their three singers reunited (one of them Michael Kiske, routinely makes top ten metal singers lists) and three guitarists on this level. The drummers and the bassists get to show off a bit, too...
Unfortunately, the only other song I can think of that has a drum solo in it, is their cover of Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free" (ua-cam.com/video/To21HILZvYE/v-deo.html)... though it is a spectacular cover, and I do highly recommend it for a reaction.
Only discovered Lovebites a few months ago. Really like this song and that breakdown is killer. How about doing a reaction to another all female Japanese band called Band Maid. They more fall in the rock genre of music. They are fantastic and sound great live. Here is a link to their song "Domination" : ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html
Imagine starting a near-two-hour concert at that pace! It's amazing that they don't end up crawling off the stage by the end. Yes, their logos are the wolf and the pentagram. Wolves are matriarchal, making them perfect symbols of powerful women. The lone wolf is also a reference to the fact that they are outliers in the world of metal, rebelling against the normal metal obsession with darkness and despair. Re. the jackets, they took them off after the first song. They actually had one near-fall, in another song, when Midori tripped over Asami and almost fell--but pulled off a great save without missing a beat on the guitar.
She is such a fan girl let's make it easy Scream for Me LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/v-deo.html) at 2:40 to be exact. Best save I have seen and Midori never missed a chord, that takes some real skill!!!!
Your reactions are always great. You really need to watch and react to their recently released live performance of "Set the World on Fire". It's not only an amazing live performance but it's also a pure thrash metal song.
I hope Asami the lead singer of Lovebites watch this reaction! I love when reactor can know how good asami voice. Thank you so much for this "Hot" reaction. By the way about hot, Lovebites has release new video on they channel. The song called "Set the world on fire" Hope you check out that's song. Wolfpack keep on lovebitten 🤘🐺🤘
🤘Love your passion on LOVEBITES. As a Fan since 2017. They all write songs. But Asami and Miyako and guy name Mao a friend of Miyako. , most of in Lovebites songs and its group effort on competing the songs. Others down below can explain more or less. Stay Safe and Stay Metal 🥰🤘 Cheers
Sorry if this is already answered. Lovebites Logo is what you recognized as the band member logo. It is a wolf's head inside a ring of fire. Many of their band items are related to wolves, and longtime fans call themselves the Wolfpack
Their Latest release Glory Glory To The World has the drummer Haruna showcasing her wonderful skills. Our Captain stepped up game up with faster tempos then pervious releases, as well adding awesome groove notes and patterns into the fast mix. I LOVE LOVEBITES. Wonderful reaction!!!!! I love when musicians react to videos. I asked that question (16:45) Midori told me it's a joint effort between the members. A member would come with a idea in the past, and they would arrange the whole song as a group.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF STUDIO LIVE SONGS THAT THEY DO . I THINK IT'S THE WAY THEY REAHEARSE . CAUSE THEY'RE BASICALLY IN A CIRCLE , SO THEY CAN SEE EACH OTHER , AND PFFER IDEAS BACK AND FORTH . I THINK IT'S LIKE A RUN THROUGH OF THE SONGS . SO THEY TAPE IT . SOME SONGS ARE , BURDEN OF TIME EAGLE FLY FREE ( HELLOWEEN COVER) SCREAM FOR ME JUST TO NAME A FEW .
Thanks for your reaction. Yeah they've got that effect on you when you watch them to left you speechless. Sadly departure of Miho it's a big loss. She came with that riff when she watch Slayer live in Tokyo. The band compose together their songs. Miho( the bassist, founder, lider and soul of the band, she left)and Miyako compose most of the songs ( Miyako is the guitarist with the black hair she is the main composer of the band ) and Asami the vocalist is the songwriter. The other members are Haruna the drummer and Midori the guitarist with the blonde hair. They upload a new song from their last concert Ride for vengeance from and of March this year called Set the world on fire. The concert coming soon, end of September on Bluray and DVD. Enjoy it, I'm already curious to see your reaction to this song.
Thank you so much for this reaction video. I really liked your reaction video. This song is one of the best their songs. Power Metal with 80. sound with thrash flavor. I totally agree with you. Lovebites is incerdible and so talented band. They are so a very charming and elegenat. Yes, 5 wolves are a symbol each of them. Amazing pentagram and excellent show. Miyako Watanabe is my the most favorite musician. She is one of the geatest musical talents of recent years. I really admire her immense talent. Today they are only 4. Very talented bassist Miho recently left the band due to her personal reasons. The band has a break now. Keep up the great work :-).
Shadowmaker, under the red sky, above the black sea,the final collision, journey to the other side are few of my favorite ones esp shadowmaker coz it was my first song i heard from them..maybe you will like them too...would love to see you react to those songs..keep safe and carry on!
Great reaction as always. Yeah, they ditched the Sgt. Peppers straight-jackets right after this song. This was out of the gate and then on for the next 2 hours, a few ebbs and flow but pretty much relentless. These women generate so much energy and do it with no effort. At the end of the concert they looked like they were now ready to go out for the night, while I was exhausted having just listened and experienced the entire show (LOL). Everything these insanely talented women do is effortless yet flawless perfection at the same time. At 4' 10" Asami (ex-ballerina student) just stuns me with her thundering ability (as a small singer yourself what gives please explain). Little Haruna at 4' 9" needs a special kit and placement yet she plays as hard as Kai/Nightwish does despite being half his size. Electric Pentagram was the latest album that they used for this show (they use the latest album cover for their LIVE shows). The pentagram means harmony and balance in Japan (likely the Shinto religion has an impact) and used to represent the 5 elements of life and since this one is NOT inverted (one point on the bottom) it doesn't represent Satanism or black magic (LOL). LMAO....Midori (hottest woman in Metal, every female that watches this band seems to instantly by attracted to her, must be the self-assured, bad a$$, insane talent that really grabs them or maybe the super model looks). Again, your Lovebites reactions are must watch entertainment such a genuine fan-girl I love it!!!!! As far as drums the new song Set the World on Fire (ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html) is a great example but there is little shine time for Haruna or even Miho/bass they were the backbone and let Asami, Midori and Miyako have the lights while they drove every song.
Miyako the black-haired guitarist writes and composes the majority of their music. Asami the singer generally writes the lyrics. Miyako is lowkey a virtuoso, you really need to see Swan Song live where she goes from Chopin Revolutionary Etude on the piano into mind blowing metal with classical elements mixed in, it truly is a masterpiece. ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Hadesillo
welcome back, Anastasia it's been a while from your last reaction for LOVEBITES. You always doing a good reaction and especially for the vocal analysis. Thunder Vengeance was an opening song for the concert, and it came thunderous since the start😂 btw, they just uploaded a new live song from 2021 called Set The World On Fire, we wolfpack hope you could react for this one too 🙂
Anastasia, a beautiful reaction to Lovebites as always. It would be an epic if you would sing a Lovebites song with your band and post it. I love Asami and don't take me wrong but it would be so awesome to see a native English speaker sing a LoveBites song. For your next reactions, I highly recommend Swan Song (live), Empty Daydream (live), Rising (mv) and Shadowmaker, (mv). Rock on 🤘 and peace ✌
One can’t help but bang their head during that breakdown. I do every time, its involuntary by now. Haha!! Great reaction! And yes, I agree… Midori is the hottest woman in metal. She’s beautiful and amazing. She has my heart. 💚
Yes, the pentagram is the band symbol and this performance is part of their Pentagram Tour. Every time I see them in the "band" costumes, My Chemical Romance, Black Parade pops into my head. Love these ladies, but unfortunately with Miho leaving the band coupled with the Covid issues Japan is having. It's going to be a while before we know their future.
Well, their names: Asami:vocals, lyrics Midori:guitar Miyako:guitar/piano, she is the main composer Miho:bass/lyrics, she is the other main composer. Unfortunately as of August 17 she is no longer a member. Haruna: drums They collaborate frequently in composing with Mao, the ex-keyboardist of Light Bringer and Miyako even said that she enjoys their competition in songwriting. Midori wrote 2 songs so far (Dancing With The Devil and Glory To The World, both in collaboration with Mao. Haruna wrote Bravehearted, she composed the song for her previous band, Destrose and eventually was recorded (in Japanese) for the first Lovebites EP. the song was included with English lyrics in their first album Awakening from Abyss. Asami especially lately is very active in composing, she wrote with Mao the song Paranoia (from the Glory, Glory to The World EP)one of their heaviest songs to date. All the girls are involved in the arrangement of the songs and both Midori and Miyako write their own guitar solos.
The jackets come out after this, they are just for the first song! The Wolf is their symbol, they have a wolf in most of their album covers. In Japan i believe they have the nickname of "The White Wolves" because of their white and gold dresses. This song would fall under the Thrash Metal genre (think Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth) Power Metal usually involves heavier double bass use, which is not the case here. Haruna the drummer doesn't have many drums solos, but in their cover of "Eagle Fly Free" she has another one! 🤘🙂🐺 Thanks!
Hello Anastasia.Asami, voice, Haruna drums,Miho, bass, Midori and Miyako guitars.Lovebites the best band metal of Japan, is my opinion. Songs "Dancing with the devil"" Empty daydream""Scream for me""Rising"", and many more songs. I have not yet found a song of Lovebites, ordinary or mediocre. In many of her songs, you can see Miyako's hand, she has piano studies, which began when she was 3 years old. A big metal hug.
If I remember, it was Miho and Haruna that founded the band together, after leaving Destrose...you caneasily see the roots of Lovebites in Destrose...but they were not in leadership roles in that band...Captain Mina was...Mina-san went on to form Fate Gear, and Marina is now fronting Mardelas... Even Saki of Nemophila was once part of Destrose, and others in Mary's Blood...it was like an incubator...lol Haruna is still there, Lovebites will be fine...;) I'm betting we might see Midori contribute to the song writing in a larger cpapcity...should be interesting... If you want to see what Midori might wrtie check out one of her previous bands Gekijo METALicche - make up - ua-cam.com/video/IQqwM89Wk9Q/v-deo.html
I have another Japanese band for you, they call themselves a technical melodic speed metal. The singer has one of the widest ranges you can get for a female singer and sings in a very Japanese way, some people like it others don't. Personally I think she is the best singer in Japan. So some songs to check out for the way she sings. Unlucky Morpheus - "Dignity of Spirit" or "The Tower of the Blood" or "Opfer"
Just last week, Lovebites released the first live video from their upcoming DVD filmed at a 2021 show in Tokyo. The song is 'Set The World On Fire' and it is faster and heavier than Thunder Vengeance! There aren't really many videos with a big focus on the drummer, but in this video she practically batters her poor drums to death. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html. Another video you might enjoy is Empty Daydream, which has the best backing vocals of any Lovebites song. It's more of a straight hard rock song with some pretty emotional and hard-hitting lyrics: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html.
You got to check out their new video: Set the world on fire coming from their latest concert. Dvd is out in a month. The wolf is their "guardian animal", therefore the Wolfpack ... they are 5 members, the pentagram have 5 "points" , In Japan the pentagram is a thousand year old sign from the Shintobuddism and and doesn't mean what it do in the western world... Lovebites pentagram isn't upside down with 2 horns up. Actually the sumerians had the pentagram 3000 BC....
This is thrashmetal. Miho(bass) said in an interview that while writing this song, she listened to Slayer in the backgroud, so that might influence her song writing at the moment. 🤘😎
@@danw6048 I just check wikipedia and it says the following. "Miho composed "Thunder Vengeance" around early spring 2019, coming up with the riff after watching Slayer at Download Festival Japan on March 21". So I wasn't completely right. I thought she listened to an Slayer album. 😜
Japanese GIRLS BAND is 30 years ago HARD Rock, SHOW-YA, POP Rock, princess princess. It started with Japan is, The best in the world It has become a country with many GIRLS BANDs. Now, HARD Metal GIRLS BAND 10 groups are famous.
If you want to react on the real vocal ability of Asami you react their ballads like "Chopin etude+Swan song" or "Epilogue" or "Empty daydream" or " Edge of the world", all with classic music influences, thanks!
She already reacted to Swan Song. Perhaps she should followup with "Edge of the World". Miho called it a suite. Miyako considered it the 3in1 song ua-cam.com/video/FGRxXCDtRFA/v-deo.html @Anastasia Luna
@@dino.mozardien I agree with "Edge of the World", but if possible, I would like her to listen to the song "WE THE UNITED", which is always played together, at the same time.
Love seeing the reactions to Lovebites. An amazing band all around...every member is amazingly talented and then combined just produce magic. I'm sure some others have already mentioned this, unfortunately the bassist Miho recently announced she was leaving the band, and the band itself is going on a temporary hiatus, so we'll see some slight changes from them for sure. But even so, the magic will carry on as like I said, every member is super talented. They also just released a video to their live performance of their song Set The World On Fire and it's insanely good, so just a suggestion...but you should check that one out soon. Also, check out their song Break The Wall soon too, imo. Another banger. Side suggestion...if you're enjoying this, might I suggest reacting to a band called Nemophila someday? One of the hotter newer bands from the last few years...and they are also amazingly talented. I'd also be curious what you think of the singer. Try out their song called Dissension, or even Oiran...or heck, both if you end up liking them. Anyways, thanks for the reactions, and i'm super happy you're loving Lovebites. Keep em coming.
Hey you're making among the best reviews for this band and babymetal for the few video i saw from you! It's cool to see your enthusiasm. Have a nice day
If you want to know power metal or speed metal, just check out on Wikipedia. There a lot explaination about power metal or speed metal, the bands and the difference between American and Europe power metal or speed metal bands.
You wonder how they balance is such high heels. Its simple. Watch a YT walking tour of Osaka,Toyko, Akihabara,Shibuya,etc..... All the women or at least a high percentage from young to old walk in ridiculously high platformed shoes. Most people in Japan walk 90% of the time so they women unknowingly have ankles of steel and balance and poise like a Ninja Master.
A point of contention, if you'll allow: The hottest woman in metal is actually in another super-group of Japanese musicians, Nemophila. It's their bassist, Haraguchi-san. Sorry, but...not sorry. 😍
Love this band and song. Thank you for reacting to this video.
Wow what an exciting video reaction! I want to see your reaction to the new Lovebites video from the 2021 concert in Japan, in full pandemic, "Set The World On Fire". Greetings from Japan!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
11:14 (and following) No-one headbangs so adorable and cute like Miho (bass). *And in high heels!* ☝😳 😁
Haruna is the thunder goddess !!! 🤘🐺🤘
Hello, thank you for the video. I would like to see your reaction to Diana Ankudinova's speech. This young singer with an amazing voice and artistry will surprise you
I think I’m gonna do it this week
Asami's singing background and education is from Soul and R&B. This is what gives Lovebites a very different sound from other Progressive/Power/ Thrash Metal bands.
Check out the Live from the studio version of "Inspire" and "Liar" and "Burden of Time".
Miho (bass) wrote this after a Slayer gig, so that's the inspiration. Thrash metal basically.
Each guitarist writes their own solos - there's backstage footage of both guitarists on their own killing time by improvising solo work before a show (both on guitar and piano!).
The newest live release set the world on fire!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 you'll love it drums are on fire the whole way through!!!!

I really really love your reactions!!!! Please more LOVEBITES!!!! Love from Italy 🇮🇹😘.

Great reaction and analysis, I love also your enthusiasm. These girls are flawless perfection, aren’t they? I hope soon you will gifting us your reaction to their latest video “Set The World On Fire”.

Yes
this song reminds me of Judas Priest during the Painkiller album time.
you listen to crowd reactions from both lovebites and banmaid, and would so like to see them play in a superdome. the sound of the crowd would be almost deafening. so good.
This particular song falls into thrash metal subgenre, with the fast pounding beats of the drums and all. Kinda like old Slayer or Metallica songs. Wow ! In the same show , "Signs of Deliverence" show total insane talent of lovebites especially live.

Just when I thought they could not do any better live...this song drops. I dont think I heard Asami as powerful before, either
@@morganolsson1993 Asami’s voice is perfection in set the world on fire, those belts are insane, I love it.
I listened to both everdream and carmen, and i have to say,YOU CAN SING! WOW!!!
Thank you so much!
i apologize, i didnt mention that you were beautiful on top of being able to sing as well
Great band. You need to play their latest live release Set The World On Fire
Agree 100%!!
The best live voice
Lovebites = world domination 🐺🤘
Miho Miho Miho!
Respectfully disagree, a note doesn't due them justice, more like a encyclopedia (LOL)!!!
@@fightrashovar4578 I do hope they continue on!
LOVEBITES⭐️…is Thunder⚡️ 🤘
LOVEBITES - Thunder Vengeance lyrics:
Gods of vengeance
Standing in the nightmare
The peal of thunder broke me and more
When losing my eye
The days will pass before me
A faded memory of what used to be
Death by oblivion (Do it)
Deadly criterion (Do it)
Flames of despair burning
My blood is boiling inside me
Death by oblivion (Do it)
Deadly criterion (Do it)
Inner enraged demon is becoming me
Here come days of revenge
Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye
Lost in the rage
These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive
Into the blackness
Don’t reveal weakness
Hiding my curses, pay off an old grudge
Forgotten feelings, other than resentment
Don’t even mind giving others pain
Damn the redemption (Do it)
Drowning confusion (Do it)
Doom filled with righteous indignation
Where’s my salvation?
Damn the redemption (Do it)
Drowning confusion (Do it)
Does my life have meaning?
Am I a speck of dust?
I’ve got blood on my hands
I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name
Die in the sands
Your sins will never be erased or washed away
Beaten down but the hatred’s growing
Rotten pain that is never healing
Only I can end my suffering
I won’t kneel down because of yesterday
Gods of vengeance
Standing in the nightmare
The peal of thunder broke me and more
When losing my eye
The days will pass before me
A faded memory of what used to be
Death by oblivion (Do it)
Deadly criterion (Do it)
Flames of despair burning
My blood is boiling inside me
Death by oblivion (Do it)
Deadly criterion (Do it)
Inner enraged demon is becoming me
Here come days of revenge
Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye
Lost in the rage
These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive
Blood on my hands
I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name
Die in the sands
Your sins will never be erased or washed away

lyrics: miho
music: miho & Mao

Late reply to this reaction. Love this song. It's Miho's, so it is amazing to see her full body head banging and singing her heart out next to Asami near the end of it. Haruna with the drum solo too! The perfect opening song. Did you go to Tokyo? I 100% need to go. Maybe they will come here and maybe they won't, but I don't think I want to wait and see.
They tend to perform to the subject matter of the lyrics. If it's serious they don't move much. If it's fun or positive lyrics they move around more.
As others have said, Haruna doesn't solo as such, but her intro to Above the Black Sea is wicked, as are a lot of her fills in Break the Wall.
@@jmetallover Thanks for adding the link!
I would consider this Thrash metal, but they mix metal genre's so well that you might be able to call this Power Thrash.
Great reaction and review, next please react to Lovebites - Epilogue.
It's great ballad song.
Thanks
According to them, the pentagram does represent the five musicians. I guess now it's a broken pentagram.
The song called "Set the world on fire"
Hope you check out that's song.
I think you would like Unlucky Morpheus. Great band, and Fuki is quite the vocalist !
SOME SONGS ARE ,
BURDEN OF TIME
EAGLE FLY FREE ( HELLOWEEN COVER)
SCREAM FOR ME
JUST TO NAME A FEW .
These are very bad news. I rather prefer their early stuff.
The anticipation builds....... the curtain drops........ and BAM! GAME OVER. ( Wolfpack is here! ) \m/
Wolfpack is EVERYWHERE !!
@@brandydynamite5877 That is TRUE. And it keeps growing!
Miyako is lowkey a virtuoso, you really need to see Swan Song live where she goes from Chopin Revolutionary Etude on the piano into mind blowing metal with classical elements mixed in, it truly is a masterpiece. ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Hadesillo
welcome back, Anastasia
it's been a while from your last reaction for LOVEBITES. You always doing a good reaction and especially for the vocal analysis. Thunder Vengeance was an opening song for the concert, and it came thunderous since the start😂
btw, they just uploaded a new live song from 2021 called Set The World On Fire, we wolfpack hope you could react for this one too 🙂
Anastasia, a beautiful reaction to Lovebites as always.
for every shows, Asami usually yelled "we are Lovebites, and we play HAPPY metal"
that should be their unique metal genre 😂🤘
Yup! Great way to start the show. Another enjoyable reaction Anastasia.
This song is total Slayer meets Iron Maiden Awesome!
I love Outro, a mix of Miyako's guitar solo and Haruna's drumming, which express the raging thunderstorm.
they took off the jackets for the next song which was Holy War I believe you responded to the second song in the set already.
PS, check out “Set the World on Fire” from the official channel if you want to hear Asami in blistering form (as are the other four!).
You have a great voice
Well, their names:
Asami:vocals, lyrics
Midori:guitar
Miyako:guitar/piano, she is the main composer
Miho:bass/lyrics, she is the other main composer. Unfortunately as of August 17 she is no longer a member.
Haruna: drums
They collaborate frequently in composing with Mao, the ex-keyboardist of Light Bringer and Miyako even said that she enjoys their competition in songwriting.
🤘🙂🐺 Thanks!
Basically, in each song Haruna set the 🥁 on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@dino.mozardien Every time ! 🥁🔥 🤘🙂🐺
👍👍👍 NEMOPHILA / GACHARIC SPIN / Mary's Blood 👩👯🎸
Let's have fun with song called "scream for me"(lovebites)..
Hi.Anastasia...how about Lovebites Live "Eagle Fly Free" Helloween cover.
Huskybites... yeah why not.
I think this is one of Miyako's songs
@@danw6048 I just check wikipedia and it says the following. "Miho composed "Thunder Vengeance" around early spring 2019, coming up with the riff after watching Slayer at Download Festival Japan on March 21". So I wasn't completely right. I thought she listened to an Slayer album. 😜
@@JanStuivenberg2810 You are right. I had Thunder Vengeance mixed up with another song

Watch their new posted video live song Set The World On Fire....

A point of contention, if you'll allow:
The hottest woman in metal is actually in another super-group of Japanese musicians, Nemophila. It's their bassist, Haraguchi-san.
