nope. while NGAD is real the darkstar is not and is just a movie prop. the Real SR-72 nicknamed "Son Of Blackbird" will be unmanned and it top speed willl be around mach 6

It's not. There was a Thunderbolt that was, but it wasn't the A-10. Hence why the Warthog is designated the "A-10 Thunderbolt II"
Warthog is a nickname. Officially the A-10 is named Thunderbolt 2. The WW2 P-47 was also called Thunderbolt or 'Jug'

I think a lot of people think that it can’t be replaced because of the Brrrt cannon but in reality because of the agm88 missiles accuracy and the fact that they cost the same as a mag of the a10s 30mm round. There is really nothing the a10 does better. Except Operation cost per hour but as time goes on F35 operation cost is going down.

7:55 I remember when I was a kid, I was told about b52. One of the most terrifying beings to soldiers in my country (Vietnam) during the war time. You know. My country faced living hell during the war time. Anyway. One B52 at that time was so resilient & to the point one soldier suggested to sacrifice himself via a sort of kamikaze attack onto that B52. The reason was because he already launched 2 missiles from his jet (I remember he piloted mig 21) but the gigantic beast was still on its rampage. So he rammed his jet to the bomber & sacrificed himself. His sacrifice wasn't in vain as the bomber went down. His name was Vũ Xuân Thiều & he got the nickname THE 3RD MISSILE for his heroic sacrifice. *sob*. He was 27, just around my age at the time of my comment.
I know the past is the past. Still. My intention is to say that B52 was such a feared airborne fortress. Kinda weird. Feel like a combination of showing fear & respect at the same time.

@@justin36004 darkstar ain't teal. the Real SR-72 is going to be a UAV for strategic reconnaissance like its predecessor SR-71 being nicknamed "son of Blackbird" the real SR-72 is also going to look much different then the darkstar

The Darkstar is not going to be a thing. It was specifically designed by the skunkworks for Top Gun Maverick. The SR-72 will be unmanned and it looks much different

Nice lowdown! Small note... KC-135 showed the small A model engines, gotta show the big R model beasts to be most accurate!
They also used the Cobra Ball instead of the RJ for some reason with the RC135. Maybe they only had small engine xC135 models so couldn't show the ones with the bigger ones

SR-72 and Darkstar, though related, are not the same aircraft. The actual aircraft in development is referred to as Son of Blackbird. The Darkstar isn’t real and never will be, unless we’re talking about the RQ-3 Darkstar which is a tiny drone

I really like the SR71 Blackbird as it is an absolute beast for the USAF. as its top speed is mach 3.32 thats pretty fast compared to a normal fighter jet reaching a limit of mach 2.3. it was most likely the best US spy plane as they created the other aircrafts like the C130 Hercules, etc. the main reason why it is very popular because it has those gaps in the windows, making it most likely hot for the pilot in the cockpit which leads to a certain thing called 600 degrees of the temprature when it reaches hypersonic speed at mach 3.32, 2x the speed of sound. it burns 152,000LBS when taking off. landing at a speed of 120kts due to this thing called “weight” making it stall when landing. stalling is very dangerous for planes, it might even lead to a crash. next up the engines, the engines are powered and produced with J58 engines, making it burn 152000LBS during takeoff. J58 engines are very powerful, they are not meant for people to touch as it is the fastest airbreathing manned aircraft. it last contacted espionage on the soviet union in 1943 in world war 2, helping the tanks called the T40/M46 tanks which are United States tanks that were used in WW2, planes like the F4U Corsair, P51 Mustang, etc. They all are a bit slow because the english eletric aka the plane with a cup of tea removed, is a fighter jet not using a propeller.

Yeah they retired it in like 2009 and now just use it to train fighter pilots on stealth technology. I assume it’s training on how to detect stealth fighters before they have a chance to attack you because if I’m not mistaken the f117 is difficult to fly and it’s probably not a good idea to let’s someone other than qualified, dedicated and well trained pilots to fly it.
