Crazy X-planes of United States 3D
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 лют 2022
- The X-planes are a series of experimental United States aircraft and rockets, used to test and evaluate new technologies and aerodynamic concepts.
Not all US experimental aircraft have been designated as X-planes; some received US Navy designations before 1962, while others have been known only by manufacturers' designations, non-'X'-series designations, or classified codenames.
This list only includes the designated X-planes.

just goes to show the wacky yet cool things humans are willing to create
Nothing says wacky and cool like more innovative ways to kill each other.
@Dillon Tenney Ahem *Sopwith Camel.*
Or any plane in WW1. It’s absolutely impeccable that people thought that planes, that were sort of slow, only needed a wood and flannel fuselage when being shot by MG’s and AA with airburst ammunition.
@@Dr.KarlowTheOctoling most planes back then couldn’t handle the weight of any armor
@@jonblack3807 Yeah, tiny engines could only support so much
X-31 is missing.
I have been a student of aviation history for the majority of my lifetime, yet never heard of many of these! Incredible job! Thank you for showing me what I've missed! Now it's time to go look these up!
Very welcome!
The X-62 (previously designated NF-16 VISTA) was actually developed during the late 80’s/early 90’s. First flight took place in April of 1992.
The renderings are great and I learned about a lot of experimental planes I had never heard of! It was a shame the X-31 wasn't included though! It's one of my favourites among the ones I already knew
I remember X-33 being promoted as the new space shuttle. I still wish for it. Such a great design.
- The X-43 was powered by a scramjet and one of the only craft to ever have done so, alongside the X-51 Waverider later in the vid
- The X-44 MANTA wasn't based on a Manta Ray but actually stood for Multi-Axis No-Tail Aircraft. Was based on the F-22 Raptor
God bless America 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅
Full on American spirit
Man your rendering is amazing I can't make a perfect Circle in 3d and you are making such amazing video so quickly.
Also x 53 and Vista look really similar to the f 18
Thanks a ton!
Vista is built off F16, X53 built off hornet
X-53 is literally the F-18 just modified.
Fascinating video as always!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁😁
3:24 That X-29’s wings are... slightly out of proportion.
As an X-Plane user, I got confused at first (X-Plane is a flight sim as well)
Interesting how we are always trying to replicate birds in nature through technology. Wing warping, thrust vectoring, canards, areolastic skins, tailless planes, nose profiles, and varying propulsion methods.
If we want to loiter at slow speed, the plane looks like a gull or albatross. If we want a hyper maneuverability fighter, the plane looks like a falcon or eagle. If we want slow cargo rotary craft, it looks like a bumblebee or hummingbird. If we want to go extremely fast, the plane resembles a sparrow or finch.
NASA wants their flying saucers so bad, they just don't have anything in nature to borrow from.
Perhaps a Tic-Tac?
ive never noticed that
they aren't copying birds, its just that birds have evolved specialized structures that fit their specific needs. if it works for birds it will work for planes, the laws of physics are constant.
It's called aerodynamics, and it isn't that deep
@@internetuser4210
It is an
Entire
field of scientific study, my dude.
@@BeingFireRetardant Bird biology or aerodynamics? Either one is just how the air feels about you throwing stuff through it
Nice video, again. I enjoy seeing the work you put out.
Glad you enjoy it!
I still don't understand why the X-32 and X-35s were classed as X planes and not YF planes when they were designed from the start to compete for the JSF program and go into full production.
The music just hits different. I could fall asleep to this
I dig the references/easter eggs these videos have, EG; Kenny next to the X-7 with an RPG.
Makes the video that much more interesting, and also some minor humor added in. The best part is the partial info on these sorts of things. Pretty neato.
Next "Y-series aircraft" (prototype aircrafts) of USA 🇺🇸 pleaseeeeeeee
You are amazing as always. Keep it up guys I love your clips so much
Thank you so much!
About the X-3 Stiletto. It was supposed to investigate the sustainability of supersonic flight, however it doesn't say in the video that the Stiletto's engines were seriously under powered and that in general as x-planes go it was viewed as a failure.
Thanks
USA love you 🇺🇸 ❤❤❤🤟🤟🤟💪💪💪👍👍👍
Interesting video
Outstanding work! 👍
Thank you so much 😀
I am fond of the X-36 being developed. It had potential
I've been interested in military technology since I was a child, it's fun to see all the cool things defense contractors design, I wonder how military tech evolves and changes over the rest of my life. Looking forward to the 6th gen fighter reveal
Very cool 👍 great work
Thank you 👍
nice i have downloaded it you r vidios are Amazing
I’ve seen most of these in person at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, they have a lot of these in the experimental hangar there.
Good one, very interesting.
Thanks!
i miss my love XB-70
Lovely as usual.
Thank you so much 😊
@@AmazingViz you are welcome.
Very good$$$$$
Love the design if the x44
I never knew 95 percent of these X planes existed
Hence why some believe UFOs are alien craft
X 29 is very iconic
i like that video. because there was some i never herd of
4:51 my favorite
Could someone please X-plane what these are used for?
X-planes are experimental research planes, usually used to test new technology or ideas.
@@whoiam5838 Thank you for the X-planation
they are experimental platforms for various technology demonstrations like thrust vectoring, aeroelastic wings, etc... hope this helps.
@@rodanone4895 Thanks, that helps X-planentially!
Wow. I didn't know there was so many
Muy bonita presentacion, aunque extrañe el X-4 Bantam
I like this planes
I like the x32 and the x
Surprised that the X-20 wasn't featured. That would have been an extraordinary X-plane.
Wow
X-43 underrated
good video would be great a video of german planes
The X-44 looks like a big F-22 Raptor
I think we all clicked for the X-44.
Northrop Grumman X-47B is much different than the A
Wow, so great line-up. To fight, the F-62c. My own F-16's kid.
But with a big Chevy 350cc truck motor in it. Yea, the F-62c...
X=TESTING
hi :)
What's up? 😁
@@AmazingViz good And you?
Please
You say Alien Aircraft, I say experimental
For all y’all that need help, x stands for experimental.
I really liked the added touch of putting in comic-book characters instead of generic Air Force personnel to show scale -- starting with the Joker sitting in the X-14's cockpit. "Why so serious?"
(I was going to ask why no love for Captain America, but then I thought: [1] Cap's Army, not Air Force, and [2] who's gonna be more all-American than Chuck Yeager?)
😍😍😍
I really love 😍 & appreciate your work ♥ & perfection.
Just a small request to you.
Please make the video on Indian Air Force 🇮🇳 aircrafts (type & size comparison). Please 🙏 it's a huge request 🙏
Can you make a size comparison of planes from the smallest to biggest?
There were a couple of those that looked like modern day jets that had just been relabeled and painted. Like, I swear I recognized two of them as the F-15 & the F-16
Correct. Some are indeed highly-modified production aircraft. I didn’t see the two you mentioned, but noted that the X-53 is a modified F/A-18.
@@AtheistOrphan oh really, interesting
The X-29 was based on the F-5A Freedom Fighter.
Nah trust me, the x 36 can do a lot of stuff outside of flying Like shooting lasers and transforming in to a robot and kickass
you should of added the WWII x planes!
Im here if just in case u put the design of boeing lose supersonic strategic bomber in 1960 to compete xb 70 in testing .
I only see it on mustards video about
xb 70.
The X-24 reminds me of the beginning of the 6 Million Dollar Man!
Yes, the aircraft featured in that was a Northrop HL-10, part of the same lifting-body program.
Bell X1 Strictly speaking, this was the first piloted plane to break the speed of sound where the pilot survived. Although the question is, do any of these things really count?
Absolutely. All tests from the X-1 and it’s out come is important to aviation.
What do you mean, do they count? Why wouldn't they?
The X-15, is the fastest manned airplane ever made that the public actually knows about.
The SR-71 is my favorite aircraft. Maybe not as heavily armed as the Eagle but it's gonna sneak up on them MiGs real quiet like and shoot them with its camera.
My neighbor is an old F-4 Phantom pilot. He saw a little action in Vietnam. I keep telling him to write a book. He had his share of close calls and narrow escapes from MiGs.
These are my 3 favorite aviation books:
- Her Majesty's Top Gun by Sharkey Ward
- Phantom II by Val Ross Johnson
- Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson
There was actually a fighter version called the YF-12A but it was cancelled.
Missing the X-4!
Now for the y prefix aircraft please, or would that not work?
Make a comparison with drones from every country
Missing numbers are still top secret?
What is the soundtrack called? I love it!
X15 pilots got to wear astronaut pins
7:10 Here's hoping it's less prone to crashing than the operating system of the same name
You forgot the Northrop X-4 Bantham Experimental Plane.
i very loved ❤👍😍
Thank you! 😊😁
Something a high-ranking military officer I'd known since grade school once said to me: "The general public assumes they'll eventually know all the military's 'Top Secret' programs after 30 or 40 years because they finally found out about the U-2, SR-71 and the F-117. That everything will eventually be declassified. If they live long enough they may eventually learn that they didn't know shit."
Btw, I realize only saying "high-ranking officer" is being very vague. It's on purpose.
The last declassified US aircraft was in 2000
And that's why people shouldn't underestimate what the US military is capable of
X-44 on MsFs2020 pls
Hey you forgot the X-28 Sea Skimmer! I fly the successor of that plane.
Hypersonic since 1950s, neat
X-27 Lancer
AKA The mirage F1C-200
Where is the Xb-70
This is the first video of yours that I had to turn off the sound because the "Muzak" was so horrible. I abandoned the video midpoint, anyway.
I’m probably not going to be the only one mentioning this, but I believe the seahawk was based on the Blackhawk
you forgot about the Rockwell X-31 MBB
What happened to the Rockwell-MBB X-31?
X-70 and x-31 are missing
Just a pity you missed out so many of the good ones
1:13 kenny what are you doing with rpg?
Where is the X-31 and XB-70?????
Almost as entertaining as the Thunderbirds
🙏👍👏
X-29 is most famous X-plane in japan,by the episode of"Area-88".
X-1 gang
How come the XB-70 isn't among these?
I, too, noticed that omission!
XF-23 black widow
XB-70 Valkyrie?

please creat video all army APC in the wolrd by generation
Why did you ignore the x-57 maxwell
