Man Ave, Y'all Some Sick, Nasty, Freaky Mfs, The Way Y'all Chopped That Sample 🤯🤯 Y'all Hit Every Frequency in every level of MPC Production, Just Fucking Mindblowing ALL I Can Say
As an FL head since Fruity 7 I have to say ong, this sample challenge has to be my favorite one out of all the ones I've watched over the years. I've attempted my hand at trying out the Machine back in like 2017 but due to the fact that I'm a DAW head at heart but want to really get into Analog beat making, I think my best option to invest in is the MPC 61 Key that way I have the best of both worlds. I hope to be able to create some "MPC Beginner" progressive type content when I do make that grab for it. Hopefully the homies at Sweetwater can help me out with that lol. As far as the beats go, I loved Marlo's chopping style the way he adds more to each previous chop. You and Andy, you guys beats both had the hair on my arms stand up on end, yours with the beautiful melding of that arp and string with the chop and Andy had me at the drum pattern he worked up. Everyone did their thing and ProdbyJack is pretty good at that MPC for him saying he's fairly new at it.
I saw this challenge on ProdbyJack UA-cam channel and watched it multiple times like the most entertaining tutorial! My favorite UA-camrs flipping the same sample and describing how they did it. I like R&B and I’m into Afrobeat ATM so Ave’s resonated w me the most. I love Andy Mac’s style because he reminds me of Teddy Riley. Marlow is so smooth and his boom bap inspires me to be more unique and creative with samples. ProdbyJack is completely different from the other 3 in a good modern way, and I like trap style beats, so his interpretation was on point with how to incorporate fire drums w a mellow sample. You all should definitely do this again!
I love you all, but currently Marlow is the only one who's instrumentals are in my daily playlist. That man gets at least 3 plays from me each day, even have him in the background music playlist at work and customers complement us regularly on how nice and relaxing our music is. So yeah man I laughed hard when you said "I don't even wanna hear no more" because I too was just about to end the video, not because I didn't wanna hear what Marlow did, but because I already knew he would kill it. I think my most played hip-hop UA-camrs right now are him and STLNDRMS.
Which is superior, Maschine or MPC software? They both need to work on them and make them fully flagged DAWs, that much I am certain of. Maschine 2 is a little better for me personally, perhaps because I am accustomed to it.
A tool is a tool. What is superior for one may be a struggle for another. Use whatever you need to use to get the sound in your head into a form the listener can hear and enjoy. As far as either of them growing into a full DAW, not sure it's necessary. The MPC software can already be loaded as a plugin in Cakewalk. I do not have the Maschine software but it may be compatible also. Enjoy your journey my friend.
Is there anyone who knows why Windows doesn't give a damn about the audio? Not only that, but they don't even have a program for drawing with vectors. While Apple offers core audio that functions great and even provides a free DAW, we need to use a third-party audio driver in order to be able to operate. Again, we must utilize a third-party sound editor because, again, Windows lacks one. I really don't want to switch to Macs for a few reasons. The first is that in my country, it costs twice as much as in the USA. The second is that I just don't want to learn a new OS.
Because macOS only has a few set ups. Apple has their own proprietary OS. It’s next to impossible for Windows to develop a suitable driver for music production when they are over thousands of computers with different specs. Ask for a vector software. Affinity designer takes care of that for both windows and Mac. Not to mention there are several web-based Vector programs all over the place.
"happy accidents" them mistakes me likes thats true the early boombap and mpc 2000/mpc 1000 would just pause something and freak it if you were just recording a two track to a tape deck or in the later age cd burnes and just hit play and the end would be like "SHIIIITTTT"
the mpc has a detection function technically but you should try and guess by ear or u can also use autokey on your phone cuz the time i used the mpc the feature wasn't really correct
Of topic here but you know what would be cool ? If in the next GTA6 one of the radio stations plays the songs of 8 producers who won a competition , and every 3/6 months they choose new winners. Hope people like it and ask rockstar this on social media. Its win win , major publicity for the producer and great PR for rockstar
Love your videos, but i feel like u overly enthusiastic about those beats. 2nd one was aight at the beginning then got boring. Drums where on point with all of them, but none of them were innovative . i am not listening to music to make me fall asleep or soothe me while i'm zoning out on fentanyl, which is exactly what these kinda beats seem to be aiming for.
I tried MPC 1 and I couldn’t get with it I been a Mpc Man forever but The way my work flow is on Maschine 🤬💨💨💨💨🫡✈️✈️✈️I had to bring that Mpc 1 back to the store 😂😂because the Maschine just has a better workflow and easier to drag and drop to a file Beat finished 🫡
Real talk, your MPC One videos have been very instrumental in my growth.
I loved yor flip the most Afrobeats to the world
I knew Marlow was gonna come wit it.

I enjoyed this video a lot, I really appreciate you. Giving me the extra push to create. Thank you Ave Mcree
Andy's drum programming reminds me of the drum programming in Meek Mill's "Dangerous" song.

Would you agree that the quantize and the sound of the mpc 2000 xl was harder/fatter compared to the new MPCs?

To be honest, the machine and the MPC software needs improvement. I use both in standalone anyways. They recorded into a DAW if necessary.
