Scott, I like how you address this issue about over working your case necks, so many chambers in rifles, Manufacture to manufacture cast a wide net on what they ream their chamber necks to. I enjoy how you bring to the table that hand crafting your ammunition can be a larger world than you expected. Peace out - Dave
I agree the case mouth is more important as that's were I'm seeing cracks after 2 or 3 shots. As soon as I get to the range I'll have some cases to mesure.
'I'm gonna shoot my pistol, gonna shoot my gatling gun. I'm gonna shoot my pistol, gotta shoot my gatling gun. You made me love you, now your man have come. Ahoh, baby, where you stayed last night. When I visited Canada, more than 50 years ago in an old car, the Mounties at the border asked us, "Where are you guys going?" They asked if we had any money, as though we might rob a bank Canada for some trip money. ... Plus, a BIG Mountie (Bigger than a Moose) poked around in the old car. [Just maybe looking for Yanker shootin' irons.]
Pretty kow pressure round arent they?the body wouldnt be blown out to much. Gd vid though. Ibe never owned a 3220.. My friend has a 73 Winchester chambered in it. Fired a couple out of it.. Cool caliber.

very true :) ,making ammo for large or odd ball chambers is far from straight forward.

32-20 is an interesting beast.. almost bought a Hand Ejector a while back but decided against it , I think I made the right choice. Thanks for sharing

@@Gungeek Buddy of mine is looking to make himself a "Rook rifle” , this would be the perfect round.

most of the stuff we load is very low pressure but it can be loaded up to about like 30 carbine.
Seems like every chamber is it's own thing.
yeah we do have a mixture of factory and home made chambers but i do think they do vary a bit with these older rounds.
Have you tried any 32-20 bullets in you Ross rifle, to see if you could get it to group?
dont have a ross right now
