@@wileyvisuals5714 Nice tripod mate, the metabones has a 0.71x on focal length right? This was shot at 500mm? Sorry for so many questions, i'm about to buy an a6400, have you liked it so far? Greetings from Chile
@@mitogennari I'm using the non-speedboosted Metabones on the a6400 but I had the 0.71x version on my FS5 and like that one too. Metabones adapters have definitely been the most reliable ones I've used on any camera. Most of these shots would've been at close to 500mm, which works out to be about 750mm in FF equivalent terms. The a6400 is nice but my biggest complaint is the CMOS rolling shutter in 4K, so I usually shoot the a6400 at 1080p and use my other cameras when I need 4K.
@@wileyvisuals5714 Thanks for the feedback Wiley! I'm deciding between APS-C or going FF with an A7III, but i'll be doing mainly surf photography and videos, so the 1.5x crop factor comes in handy. I'll be doing mainly this as a hobbie so the cheaper overall body + lenses of aps-c feels like the most reasonable decision. Do you know if the A7III has the same issue of rolling shutter in 4k? Thanks for all the info!
@@mitogennari Not sure about the A7III, but one great thing about the a6400 is there is a very affordable waterproof housing available for it in case you ever decide to try shooting from the water.
Hi Wiley, great footage! what where you using for stabilization? Tripod with fluid head? and what adapter where you using?
Cheers!
Thanks Mito. I had a Cartoni Focus 8 Tripod and a Metabones E-mount to EF adapter.

Hi man, what is the lens you used?
I used a Sigma 150-500mm (EF mount)
