this guy is takin stuff that is in a recyckle container to his home..
have you ever had to clean up after people that does stuff like that..
the last couple of houses i had to emty, took well over 20 big moving trucks with garbage..
i have a friend that have a large farm he fills up just like this guy, some of it does have value,
but most of it just get destroyd by the weather and is poluting, and loses its value..
who needs rustet metal for example, or old wood that is no good.
or 20 cars that have been leaking for years
some of these people actually destroy stuff that could have been recykled.
few have space to take care of it like it needs to keep its value, after all we do throw alot away..
often these kind of people are extreme hoarders

@@Hansen710 you obviously don't know what he does. He scraps. Meaning he takes things out of the TRASH, not the recycling and scraps it for money which is how he makes his living. Those are contractors usually used for motor or power control. The coil on the inside is where you would connect you power on off button. There are wholesalers who buy old stock inventory and resell it. They are big on circuit breakers and power controls. When ever you find large amounts of power control or industrial parts. What I love is how some folk give a shout out to Mike about what some items are worth before he scraps them. I'm always amazed at what some of your American companies throw away. .mind it benefits folk like Mike ect. keep up the great work duck. Love from the middle of England. North East Derbyshire. 👍

I'm a refrigeration tech, I keep all the contact points and refine them to .999 pure silver. That's got to be close to 2.5 to 3 kilograms of silver once it's refined.

I worked for a fortune 100 company and when ever a company dignitary would grace the facility the managers would throw tons of brand new items into the landfill. Pallets of pop rivets, steel beams, steel/ stainless sheets of all thickness, office supplies etc. After the tour they would simply re-order and Pat themselves on the back when managers were told how neat and tidy the place was. Wasteful and ridiculous

Hey Mike, I wonder if those breaker things are used in commercial freezers. Heard there was a shortage of parts and they were in dire need, so you might check what those are used for and see if it's one of the things that they are having a shortage of, even if they are used in something else. Then, Mike be saving the USA !!

That's why Laura (Mrs Scavenger) keeps him in check. 😊 Sometimes I think she says NO too often, but she knows best and Mike apparently respects her opinion, he never whines about her not letting him keep something. They sure look like they have a very good marriage, that's what I see when he talks about her. 💑
