correction: once you activate the portal crystal in the ruins north of Bakbattahl it'll activate all of them, anotherthing to add, you do not have to evacuate, if you do all (5) becons (not all show on the map, one is in Bakbattahl and one is where the giant spartan is) the game will leave you with one more becon at the ruins to deal with, if you deal with the sixth one you'll complete it another important detail is the quest in Bakbattahl you need to complete in order to reclaim your pawn, which you'll need to do inorder to deal with the giant and the final final fight another small imortant detail you missed is how there riftstones scattered onto the seafloor which helps the player with travel between each point I recommend doing the true ending again and retry making the guid
I do love you guys's video, truely but I just felt like I needed to say something, I didnt mean any of this to come off rude if it did, sorry if it did seam that way
Yeah dude mentioning that getting the blue light first as soon as you start the moored world activates fast travel points to everywhere is a HUGE must know. Get that and then get your pawn in Bakbattahl. Everyone cares more about being first than being accurate. Thanks for your comment bro. Saved my ass.
The elves had a permanent portcrystal in mine, as well as one on volcanic island. both became accessible on the start of unmoored world despite never having visited those locations
@@philupmycupp1 if you look at their map at 3:12 you can see the volcano island permanent port crystal isn't their for them. So unless you're going to accuse them of editing it out there's probably a trigger they haven't completed.
@@Willow4526it’s weird I forgot to ever look for the elf village and never spoke to the elf in vern but when I entered the unmoored world the port crystal was there. Unfortunately since I never did the mission there previously to take care of the heart I was not able to evacuate them…
I hope so as well. The game is a great foundation to build on. I feel it lacks a bit of QOL features like multiple stacking of the same item for example. Wouldn't say no to some new vocations either 😅
Meh, evacuating everyone takes 5-6 days. Then just use the last few days farming items and dcp. Obviously if you suck or have bad gear, it may take longer. But it’s fun
Its stupid. Whats that for a endgame ? Not a good Grind or someting. No, you must do all the thing fast, becouse the World die's. It can be so good, but no they go this way. For me, absoloutly stupid.
@@M88055 yet again not timed at all just you have limited rests which is limited to 12 I did the entire thing without resting and farmed the entire area for at least 30 in game days before I went to new game plus.
I don't see many people appreciating the fact seafloor shrine is gran soren just given wind waker treatment its genuinely such a cool touch for potential lore aswell
@@HPLovesCraftsCatNo it’s not. It’s the exact same universe just a different dimension. Pay attention to the lore and what the devs stated before typing out such absurdity.
For evacuating the elfs, you dont need to do doireanss quest to restore the tree. In my playthrough, I got a pawn that translates elvish (don't know for sure if this matters), i killed the portal boss in their area and talked to the leader multiple times. The leader won't be convinced the first couple of times you talk to him, but after spamming "talk", he changed his response and was convinced. TL;DR Kill portal boss in elvish area, spam talk to leader until his dialogue changes.
@@Garflog643 yes the guardian achievement was given to me, i even lost the volcanic camp due to running out of time on the portal there prior to finishing the game
There must be two dwarven smiths because there is one in bakbhattal when you restore the sword from the gaurd in Vernwerth. And as long as you fight the final dragon once then talk to the ghost in the throne room youll get 100 WLC for destrying the final dragon before the unmoored world.
Anyone who played the original would know that the first credits sequence is never the true ending. The unmoored world is certainly a more ambitious post-game than the everfall, but I think the game would still benefit from an actual deep dungeon-like area that requires a lot of time to get through with a lot of secret bosses and stuff. Something like bitterblack isle to really push an endgame that people can come back to. As it stands I think it's a worthy follow-up to the original game although not so much Dark Arisen, we'll have to see how good the support for this game is if there's going to be a proper expansion or maybe some title updates with some content or maybe a few new vocations. But I am pretty happy with this game and I enjoyed all my time with it. As of right now it's a really solid 8 out of 10 but I'm hoping future support will make it into a 9 or 10.
I really like the game too but wish I'd understood unmoored world better before I played the game. I spent a lot of time hunting for best gear for every vocation and leveling every vocation in base game, just to find out everything I can get in unmoored world smashes it and now I don't really have anything to do in NG+. Wish I'd been less comletionist and just leveled maybe 2 vocations and rushed thru a bit more so I could enjoy having the best gear in NG+ and have something new to do.
Only tips you need are place portcrystals in major areas (you should have already done this), avoid fights accept for the event in bakbattahl with phaesus/beams so you can minimize rests, and biggest tip bring a sorcerer pawn that is higher level than you (highest you can afford) to cast on flying drakes.
@@xscori Sorcs are way too inconsistent with their dmg. I've hired plenty of Meteor sorcs, and Most of the time, I can go through an entire dragon boss fight without them using it once. Or they'll use it on one or two goblins all the time. The dmg is too inconsistent, I get way more out of theif.
Nah.. Def want a thief. More consistent damage output, they don't take any damage if you give them the thief maister skill. And they will steal extra WLC from Drakes and loot from mobs if you give them the pilfer skill. Unfortunately, Pawn AI is trash with Sorcerer. If you want a sorcerer nuke, be the sorcerer... but Magick Archer is better in many ways for unmoored world, imo. Tho the playstyle is kinda meh.
SPOILERS BELOW Finished this last night in one sitting, closing all red holes. Things to note; you can just fight the big dragon and at the end, speak to the shrouded figure by the throne, he moves to the crowd speak to him again and you end up back on the dragons back so don't worry. Whilst in the unmoored world; You don't have save points basically, you have to stay alive and try to rest as little as possible. You manage to get around this by stocking up on AllHeal elixirs, and if your pawns are low hp, hire new ones. You can also use wakestones that's fine, but don't hit No thinking you'll go back to last save, it will start unmoored day 1 and lose progress. Get a pawn with pilfer skill on, as it robs more wrym crystals. Do side quests, they give wrym crystals, escorts don't worry about it. Check the vendors, they sell more and better stuff, some is better than the dragonforged gear (dominator warrior armour looking at you) If you see the purple spirit enemies, make sure you kill them for eldrich resource as it's used to upgrade gear and only place I've seen them is in unmoored. I'd recommend pulling up guides when you are on whatever quest you are on, some of them are finicky - civil unrest is known to bug for some people and they can't evacuate baktel etc. You only get one shot at this really without save points. When closed all red portals and evacuated everyone to the shrine, all the vendors will be in one spot with one final red beam to close - spend everything here! This is the last point before NG+. Start with the outter areas closest to the red mist, people say on 5 day those disappear first but i didn't see it. 10 days is apparently the time frame before places are destroyed entirely and forces you into completion. One final note, in the outro after doing this - you can and will probably die on the dragons back, you can use load save here, don't hit give up.
Just a few questions, since you can’t really save, does that mean you have to do the whole unmoored section in one go without a break? 2nd question: Do you have to go to every single outpost (Melve, Harve, and even volcanic area), or just do 3 beacons (Vermont, Elves, and Bhaktal) do be able to finish the moored world? 3rd question: I remember hearing somewhere that if you only have the last beacon needing to be done, the fog doesn’t spread no more, meaning you have unlimited time in the unmoored. Is that true?
This comment is mostly true. The only saves that matter are inn saves. Which also gives you the option to start at day 1 of unmoored or day (whatever you inn saved) you can also do a regular save at any time you aren't in battle. Although upon death, the only save that matter will be the Inn saves. The other saves are for taking breaks and continuing on. So, no, you do not have to get it done in one sitting. Also, there is no resting until night. Morning is the only option. So an inn save will cost you a day of time.
@@Majin2buu the main points of evacuation are: Agamen Volcanic Island Camp (This will test if you helped the MA-Maister and her husband. Also will see if you helped the dude that gives you warfarer) Sacred Arbor - This will test to see if you did all the Elves questline. Bhaktal - Will test your quests done with the empress. (This saves Bhak and Rest Checkpoint) Vermont - Test your quest with Sven. (This saves Harve Village, Vermont and Nameless Village) Excavation Site - Saves Pawns (Requires 4-5 Rests during your UM run) (All can do be done without side questing, but it makes it a little harder. I actually don’t know the workarounds to those who didn’t sidequest) I didn’t test your last question. But I did my UM in as efficiently as possible (all camps evacuated day 1) And then had to rest 4 days Until the final Red Beam in the excavation site appeared. So I finished UM in 4-5 Game days. Meaning I’d at least have another 7 days to farm. No parts of my map was swallowed by fog when I got the ending.
Also, in new game plus, the dragon forged has like 4 more things he can do for you at the cost of crystals… Like you can pick one “move set” for you and one for your pawn, of any vocation and skill you have unlocked… it will take half the stamina it normally would… so imagine some of the special moves that use an entire stamina bar for instance… that would only take half now. And you pick whichever skill you have unlocked already. There are also buffs like “you get higher stamina regen for an entire day straight” etc. Etc.
Should be noted that vendors will be updated with their post-game stock even if you didn't do the unmoored world. So you can do the normal ending and benefit from the new gear in NG+ to prepare for the true ending world state. Killing the dragon will give you a load of WLC, I believe enough for at least one weapon from the Dragonforged. At that point you can elect to farm them out from drakes to get armor or a weapon matching your Pawn's main vocation. And considering NG+ for DD2 feels like NG+ for DD1, you won't have any problem blitzing through the early challenges.
I was a thief and kept stealing WLC as I fought. Very happy I did that as I snagged a good 70 of them just from that alone. Went with the normal ending to prepare for the true ending.
Don't think you get infinite rests, still 12 but the cloud will not move at all so you're free until the 12 rests are upafaik @@akatsukitheassassin3503
You don't need to go and activate these end game port crystals. I didn't have one in the elf village, and I could still teleport there. You just need to get to that seafloor shrine place and talk with the beastren mad arisen.
Oh also second comment, just dropping these as I go. I didn't do a single quest in the elf town, only visited it but didn't find any quests there. In the endgame I just had to have someone with the woodland wordsmith and talk to the main guy who was like "OKAY I'M CONVINCED" and they just evacuated without me having to do anything for them at all.
You can also get 100 wyrmslife crystals if you kill the dragon that makes you the arisan and when you do that you’ll be brought to the throne room and when you walk up to the throne you can talk to the blue ghost girl whoever she is talk to her twice and you can go back on the dragon and climb to the heart and use gods bane sword
im 119h in, and i didnt even start the feast of deception quest. i got into batthal with the roundabout way by the bridge near checkpoint rest town. there's so much fkn content to discover in this game without doing the main quest, it's crazy
I dont care what anyone says, the end game was bad ass to me. The way it changed the game for the true ending was epic. I got the normal ending first and i was pissed, like really that's it?
One portcrystal really needed, Bakbaathal. Maybe the excavation camp to reach the pawns trapped there quickly because it was the first to fall after Melve for me. The elves questline should be done too to save yourselves the trouble. With the amount of ferrystones you farm in that world you can jump between what you need to do and you have plenty of time to do the beacon bosses (i did it first before even doing the evacuations) and exploring the new areas available (coastlines/rivers/lakes) You can also mod some perm health recovery to avoid resting and you have unlimited time.
If DD2 is anything like DD1 (and it seems to be in most cases) dwarven smithing is also good for archistaves. Spell knockdown power is probably based on the weapon like it was in DD1, which means Maelstrom's ability to pull in and yeet things is improved as well as Meteoron's already high knockdown value (which helps force bigger foes to fall down). IDK how much testing has actually been done on this, but even Mage probably wants to go with Dwarven if they're using an offensive spell with decent impact like Frigor. If your mage is full support, without any attack weapon skills, then Elven is probably best.
In 2 it's better to go the elves. Elves: Magic Dwarfs:Knock down. You don't really need knockdown on mage/sorcerer especially if you have a mage pawn who can give a shield or just use warfarer and equip the mage shield ability
I’m on day 2 in the unmoored world, managed to clear the beacons and save the main towns, struggling with the Elven town because I didn’t do the quest first. Noticed I get a lot ferrystones here, easy to farm. I am lvl 67 right now, but I’ve gained a lot of levels since reaching the map.
your not actually timed, its 12 days however now there's no day night cycle (so you have 12 rest) but if you die without resting you get reset back to the start or to your last rest day. IT IS NOT TIMED AT ALL so dont be bad at the game and you can farm for wyrmslife crystals for ages (which is what i did to get my pawn and myself end game gear) i was level 91 and it was just super easy all vocations maxed, as playing warfarer levels all other vocations at once albeit 20% slower
Endgame is basically a cake walk for sorcerer and magic knight, maelstrom and the meteor skill destroys the dragons and the magic archer ultimate is the strongest ability in the game
@@edgemasterrlol With Dark Arisen, sure. There's just more to do. But for just the base game, DD2 is very impressive. If it gets a Dark Arisen-esque DLC, it'll beat DDDA.
The original is better. Better writing and story, vocations just feel good and powerful, loot is better, map is better and less confined, better camera and FOV, better hud and menu elements, dragonforged items were better, good gear is earned/farmed for instead of here's 150000 gold or 110 crystals. Pawn details were changed at homes/ inns in chairs instead of having to find specific mood changing incense and camping. Pawns were more helpful (open chests, gather mats, throw items, hold enemies for a combo kill, don't just run off they also return quicker. Chests were worth opening not just the ornate ones. Doesn't take 4-6 business days to get up from being knocked down even with the augmentation. Forgery is duplication except for some items. Meaning I have 35 port crystals yet can only use 8. Eternal suffix actually meant infinite and with it we got an eternal Ferrystone. Than there's the Dark arisen DLC aswell. Basically your all weak, there's literally Death. Like an endgame boss Who can insta kill everyone. Badass and a tough fight. More monster variations and abilities for em. An entire underground labyrinth, arenas, hallways, challenge rooms and a City to explore. All with loot to find and gather, resetting every 3-7 days plus a second version of the DLC main boss to fight yet again but in a Even tougher dungeon with more randomness like Ur dragons appearing or encountering death in random areas plus more ambushes and overall more loot and more risk opening chests. It also holds the best gear and weapons which provides actual resistances (unlike DD2) that can make you immune to various ailments and stacking them together as a set makes your endgame character complete and you feel absolutely powerful, unless you're in Bitterblack Isles than you are just immune to some of the nuisances enemies have. Obviously there's lots more. And each game has its feats. However the Dragons Dogma+ Dark arisen is simply better, and has such basic features that we just don't have in the second game. To which these features were what made the game truely great alongside it's story and endless replayability that is still fun. Enjoy them and love em both, but DDDA is the superior game.
Zeal is 5%, don't. Take Dynamism instead, one less level of weight. BTW someone said something about beams that if you destroy the fog doesn't move anymore..?

So I didn't reach a new gods way yet, but I just wanna say regarding that elf mission I did everything, but then later on, I found him again, and he asked me to escort him, and I failed that escort quest because I went into a section where no ponds could follow meand he just disappeared so when I checked the crypt or morgue, he's no longer there and he's not dead
so i’m not a huge fan on this decision but i’m still enjoying the game. i will say; once you leave the UW the Dragonforged will offer his full services in NG + so you can farm dragons in the normal world in your second playthrough however the WLC are extremely hard to get as opposed to the UW. i was getting around 30/40 in the UW and about 10 in the real world per dragon kill. but don’t worry when you leave the UW you can still do your end game grind for gear just at a reduced rate
@@elfnino4878 I do as I know the context of the subject he's talking about. Maby use your Dragons Dogma initiative & figure out the quest of what's he meaning.
UW is definitely the best place, second time I get their I'll probably rush the bosses than spend the remaining days farming WLC. Also if you have a thief with the stealing skill, the dragons can drop the best gear & more WLC.
I see that ppl will do multiple playtroughts to get everything. Just make sure your main pawn is full blown healer mage and ul do just fine. You can always switch to archer and use that one unmaking arrow on one of the drakes.
Do you have a Guide on how/where to Level up Weapons and Gear? I was told that Magic Weapons are Best leveled up with the Elves. So Magic Weapons would be Staffs, Warfare blades, and Magic Archer bows right?
So you dont actually have to climb to the dragons heart. When I did it i was on his back, but i didnt attempt to stab myself until my own heart started glowing. As for evacuating the elves. I just talked to the dad, and he was like "We cant leave yet" But in an attempt to figure out how to get them to leave, i just kept talking to him and he was somehow convinced ( though i did max out his affection long ago because he had an escort quest for some reason.) I think this is good information as it means there are multiple ways to convince them to leave.
Can i ask, what ingame tells u to sword urself in that exact moment? So far exploring or finding notes in places have mentioned or suggested things. Like the research lab in bakbital talks about medusa and her head and where she roughly is as an example or border town inn notes mentioning different ways to get across.
Nothing does. When you turn back time to the dragon flight and move down to his heart if you're on controller it vibrates in time with the heart beat. Then you use your brain and attempt to stab it with Gods bane. But, your only options are (Stab yourself or, you guessed it! Stab yourself).
@@stealthninja4195 you can but you don't get wyrmcrystals for each subsequent kill. Only the first kill does. Then you enter the true ending. Each of the red light pillar bosses drop crystals.
Every time I went in Melve was deleted before I could even do anything, So what exactly is the trigger for that? I think there is another ending we have not seen yet and may lead to actually fighting a big bad. And I think Talos also plays a vital role in the success. Making sure Talos does not lose it's right arm (Taking it out early pre-unmoored world) is also vital to that pursuit. When Talos is fighting the portal monsters try using the unmaking arrows on those creatures to keep Talos from taking any damage. And make sure Melve is of course still in the picture, Becuase I don't think we will see the true ending unless every last soul is saved. I've already gone through the game 3 times and ashamed to admit that I (even thought these discoveries might speed up that of the communities) have been unable to do these things myself. Truth be told I am kinda bored and tired of doing the quests when the game leaves no challenge during it's combat. So if people want to pursue this endeavour to find out what will happen then, please.
How do you take out talos early? I'm pretty sure that fight is scripted. I knocked out all the things on it within seconds of attacking each one until the last one which I spent literal minutes attacking.
Because I played DD1 I know how you can miss alot of sidequest simply by not walking through an area enought times. So I'm level 53 and don't have the battahl permit yet, but I have a port crystal in volcanic region.
You can access all that endgame gear in new game plus just by talking to the guy and buying it with the crystals. You don’t have to go to the unmarred world to get that stuff but I do recommend you go there just to see it
@Majin2buu make sure to get at least one eldricite from purple ghosts as they are suuuper rare in base game. Then you can dupe the heck out of it at the old man's shop 😂.
Same. I knew there were weapons there somewhere but didn't see it in any vendors and figured I'd either spend forever trying to find them, or finish the story and start again. Whoopsie daisy.
There is 2 dwarf Smith 1 in bakbattahl you can unlock by a side mission call Dulled Steel and that dwarf Smith is also a shop with the best gear before endgame and you can get a 10 discount of it all permanent so it is way cheaper then the volcanic island camp shop so it is a must to get that dwarf Smith
If anyone doesn't know you can stop the fog from moving permanently in the first 3-5 minutes with minimal work Edit: it's 1 evacuation and the red beam in bahtal then a secret place/thing, and bam fogs stopped for good you can stay indefinitely but still can't die or itll reset
@@Darthsikk just a disclaimer for anyone who reads this 'SPOILERS' do what I stated above I evacuated the elves then did the bahtal beacon and walked over to talos it triggers an event, that's all ill say

Now I'm starting a new game plus and hopefully I'll do it better this time lol. I just want a happy ending for me and Ulrika
Maybe I missed it, but I have yet to hear you mention that you can get dwarven smithing in Bakbattahl--which is much more convenient. Also, I had left a portcrystal by the Dwarven smith at Windwalker's Home and it disappeared after I entered the unmoored world for some reason. But the dwarven smith in Bakbattahl was still available in the unmoored world, so that wasn't much of a problem. It sucks to lose a portcrystal though. Luckily it was just about endgame.
I’m proud I found out how to get the true ending the first time up. I played the crap outta the first game, so I knew my time limit for using the gods and blade was coming to an end. Glad to have found it. Not glad that the unmoored world sucks

What do you do after equipping yourself with Unmoored World equipment and fully upgrading it? What is the actual endgame? From what I have heard NG+ does not introduce stronger enemies and neither is there any harder content. What is the purpose of all this farming and these chores?
Having gotten both normal and true. I felt more satisfaction with the normal ending than the true one. Though seeing my pawn transform into a dragon, back to normal then back to dragon was funny.
On my first playthrough I never unlocked magic archer or dwarven smithing but when I entered the unmoored world there was a dwarven smith and one of the NPCs unlocked magic archer for me.
Honestly, I was lvl 73 when I got to the unmoored world and it's a cake walk so far, I've destroyed the red beacon bosses as if they were normal enemies, didn't need to use a single wakestone or allheal
I'm just finishing up killing talos, was able to stop him just before reaching the volcanic island camp. I'm trying to follow some guides about reaching the unmoored world, trying to get the true ending before I start NG+. Can I take my time and farm drakes and try an find treasures, set up port crystals where I need them. Farm some ferrystones and stuff like that? Or do I have to start going through moonlight tower right now and try and get to the unmoored? Also talos is in the unmoored too right? I was able to get the trophy where I kill him before the camp, but I know there's another related to him. Please and thank you.
SPOLIERS, If you do all the red lights ( and possibly the talos quest not sure but I did it on my play through ) you have unlimited time in the unmoored world including resting at your house, there's tons of dragons that drop end game gear, also the chimeras drop end game gear
Well, I have all achievements now. Except of course the achievement to get them all. I hate bugged achievement. As for the unmoored world, you have as many saves as you want, only the inn saves are limited cuz they move time foward. Just don't use that unless your max health is less then half. As for fast travel with ferystone, they drop like hotcakes. I went in with 10, I had 20 an hour later. And I finished everything there without sleeping once at an inn. I went in at level 60, the whole thing is a joke. If you can beat dragons in the regular world, there is nothing harder then that in unmoored world. So before touching the final red beam after evacuating everyone, I was free to explore the place for hours. It's worth doing. You find cool enemies and new chests with unique gear.
The dragonforged isn't in the cave for me, i even went to Vern to see if i could revive him, but the dude to do that doesn't have the dialogue to revive anyone anymore. Am i just fucked? EDIT: He is at Seafloor village right by the portcrystal in the unmoored world, do not go back to the cave.
Do we get an Eternal Ferrystone like DD1, in NG+? I know you can get a bunch just by playing the game. But on my next playthrough I just want to worry less about conserving on fast travel and just have fun with it.
Sorry if this is already been said, but there are several comments. I'm trying to figure out what lvl are people progressing to this? I am in the high 50s lvl wise with most vocations maxed and wonder if I will have issues with the mobs in the Unmoored World. Given Capcom blows and won't let you have multiple save I would like to get this stuff completed in NG rather than trying in NG+
FYI - you can unlock Dwarven smithing earlier in the game by completing the smithing questline in the desert city. Both require you to go to the volcanic island but one can be done much earlier. It also unlocks the shop there and if you gift her flowers you can get 10% discount. She has some of the best stuff in the game.
It's only available after godsway quest, prior to guardian quest (talos).. I went to do her and wrap up prior to doing the talos part and he triggered on my way down there (I went long way around to the left not opening the door)
@@Ketharuilyou can literally run to volcanic island from game start. You’re just choosing for it to not be ‘early’. Besides the main quest line doesn’t even have you go to the volcanic island unless it’s to finish the final quest.
If you could reply back and explain the last dragon, how do you get out of the endgame to start a new game without starting over. I made the stupid mistake when I was in the endgame to push new game and I lost everything I had to start all over again because I was repeating a cycle and I could never get out of that cycle, he just burned me up all the time to dragon. So if you could make it tutorial on the third dragon, I’ll call it not the second dragon it’s the final dragon in the endgame after you beat all the lasers or whatever they are coming out from the ground.
He should give you the skill at the same time as the vacation (might have to talk to him a second time right after getting warfarer) He gives it as a scroll that you need to read when you are a warfarer... It's counterintuitive
I have seen in a online database that there are additional end game weapon/armor sold in the main capital, does that actually trigger only in the post game or in NG+ ? (in term of stats those can be even better than the dragonforge ones)
Once you finish the True ending, starting NG+ Adds more gear to all vendors. Also, the Dragon forged guy sells all of his True ending inventory from the start of NG+. So don't worry about not being able to buy every single piece of endgame gear as you can farm for it all in NG+.
@@stealthninja4195 Sadly no I don't. I'm just running around and killing what I find. I'm currently obtaining materials to start upgrading all my armour and weapons to min max their stats to the best that I can.

Okay so i found this ending completely on accident. I killed the dragon the first time and when i was told to sit on the throne i talked to the pathfinder homie and he sent me back to the start of the dragon fight. I climbed to his chest and used the god's bane because i tried to stab him. Had no clue that was what you had to do for this ending i just got lucky lmfao.

Endgame is definitely lacking. I rescued everyone but it’s got to the point where it won’t let me rest anymore, so farming endgame monsters is ruined. They desperately need something like bitterblack isle, just a place jammed full of the hardest and rarest monsters to farm. Also once you save everyone you can save normally, or there’s at least some requirement to be able to save/load which can be fulfilled. I’m in the unmoored world on NG+ and it’s been letting me save in the normal manner, I haven’t died yet though so idk how that works
When I got to true engame I had all the Ports unlocked even the Harbor which I missed on my first playthrough. I was around level 50 I think and it was so much fun. Thief is so busted i just destroyed everyone haha
Nice guide. Not too spoilery but very clear on what needs to be done before and during the endgame! I wonder if buying rounds at the bars will make people trust me more for that specific portion 😂.

bruhhhh i needed this video 2 hours ago i beat the game and was wondering whats next and i entered unmoored world just to realize that it forces me into an end game and i cant go back to my last inn save. i havent even met the sphinx yet. theres a bunch of stuff i hadnt done yet, but i guess ill just have to do them in NG+
Idk why but the elven innkeeper does not give me anything. I've given her so many flowers already (around 50) and I always rest 24 hours between every gift. She blushes like crazy but that's it😢
This game is so weird. My pawn is a lower level than me but has a higher base strength stat (our vocations are the same rank). One group of enemies will be really easy to kill but then a couple steps down the road, the next group of enemies feel noticeably stronger and harder to kill. I really hope they just give us a hard mode for this game like they did the first, not even sure why they don't have one. Where all the enemies are at endgame strength, maybe stronger. Something, at least battahl still has some beefier enemies for me even at level 60. I have nearly 700 strength. Such a weird game stat wise and I'm not sure how to feel about it. Maybe it's also the lack of enemy variety making me notice this. The weapons have a roughly 15 strength difference in damage between wyrmfire forging and the normal full upgrade, with only minor discrepancies, so it seems the focus is less on directly upgrading your gear.
In the previous mission to save Doireann, I failed and failed to resurrect her. Now I am stuck in the mission of Elf Village Chief. Do you have any solutions?
correction: once you activate the portal crystal in the ruins north of Bakbattahl it'll activate all of them, anotherthing to add, you do not have to evacuate, if you do all (5) becons (not all show on the map, one is in Bakbattahl and one is where the giant spartan is) the game will leave you with one more becon at the ruins to deal with, if you deal with the sixth one you'll complete it
another important detail is the quest in Bakbattahl you need to complete in order to reclaim your pawn, which you'll need to do inorder to deal with the giant and the final final fight
another small imortant detail you missed is how there riftstones scattered onto the seafloor which helps the player with travel between each point
I recommend doing the true ending again and retry making the guid
I do love you guys's video, truely but I just felt like I needed to say something, I didnt mean any of this to come off rude if it did, sorry if it did seam that way

TL;DR
Kill portal boss in elvish area, spam talk to leader until his dialogue changes.

There must be two dwarven smiths because there is one in bakbhattal when you restore the sword from the gaurd in Vernwerth. And as long as you fight the final dragon once then talk to the ghost in the throne room youll get 100 WLC for destrying the final dragon before the unmoored world.
yes and the MA maisters husband but you can't use him until you do the quest to open the one in Bakbattahl.
Or wait till he pops up in unmoored world after you evacuate volcano island. Confirmed this myself
As of right now it's a really solid 8 out of 10 but I'm hoping future support will make it into a 9 or 10.
i waited a decade for this ;-; kind of underwhelmed
Sorcs do ass dmg as pawns, Thiefs are way better.
@@turbompson4546 incorrect, on bosses and long fights, you want sorc
SPOILERS BELOW
Finished this last night in one sitting, closing all red holes.
Things to note; you can just fight the big dragon and at the end, speak to the shrouded figure by the throne, he moves to the crowd speak to him again and you end up back on the dragons back so don't worry.
Whilst in the unmoored world;
You don't have save points basically, you have to stay alive and try to rest as little as possible.
Check the vendors, they sell more and better stuff, some is better than the dragonforged gear (dominator warrior armour looking at you)
If you see the purple spirit enemies, make sure you kill them for eldrich resource as it's used to upgrade gear and only place I've seen them is in unmoored.
@@Majin2buu the main points of evacuation are:
Agamen Volcanic Island Camp (This will test if you helped the MA-Maister and her husband. Also will see if you helped the dude that gives you warfarer)
Sacred Arbor - This will test to see if you did all the Elves questline.
Bhaktal - Will test your quests done with the empress. (This saves Bhak and Rest Checkpoint)
Vermont - Test your quest with Sven. (This saves Harve Village, Vermont and Nameless Village)
Excavation Site - Saves Pawns (Requires 4-5 Rests during your UM run)
(All can do be done without side questing, but it makes it a little harder. I actually don’t know the workarounds to those who didn’t sidequest)
I didn’t test your last question. But I did my UM in as efficiently as possible (all camps evacuated day 1)
And then had to rest 4 days Until the final Red Beam in the excavation site appeared.
So I finished UM in 4-5 Game days. Meaning I’d at least have another 7 days to farm. No parts of my map was swallowed by fog when I got the ending.
Also, in new game plus, the dragon forged has like 4 more things he can do for you at the cost of crystals…
Like you can pick one “move set” for you and one for your pawn, of any vocation and skill you have unlocked… it will take half the stamina it normally would… so imagine some of the special moves that use an entire stamina bar for instance… that would only take half now.
The timer in the unmoored world stops after you reach a certain point it stops right before you close the last red light beam
So you're able to rest as many times as possible? Also are you still stuck to inn saves for respawning?
fr?

One portcrystal really needed, Bakbaathal.
Maybe the excavation camp to reach the pawns trapped there quickly because it was the first to fall after Melve for me.
The elves questline should be done too to save yourselves the trouble.
With the amount of ferrystones you farm in that world you can jump between what you need to do and you have plenty of time to do the beacon bosses (i did it first before even doing the evacuations) and exploring the new areas available (coastlines/rivers/lakes)
You can also mod some perm health recovery to avoid resting and you have unlimited time.
Elves: Magic
Dwarfs:Knock down.
You don't really need knockdown on mage/sorcerer especially if you have a mage pawn who can give a shield or just use warfarer and equip the mage shield ability
@@theatlantean8036 knockdown would be better on a Warrior with Heavy weapons

Off topic, if you missed the finders token on your first playthrough and go on ng+, do you need to find the same one or the first in that journey..?

your not actually timed, its 12 days however now there's no day night cycle (so you have 12 rest) but if you die without resting you get reset back to the start or to your last rest day.
IT IS NOT TIMED AT ALL
so dont be bad at the game and you can farm for wyrmslife crystals for ages (which is what i did to get my pawn and myself end game gear) i was level 91 and it was just super easy all vocations maxed, as playing warfarer levels all other vocations at once albeit 20% slower
Endgame is basically a cake walk for sorcerer and magic knight, maelstrom and the meteor skill destroys the dragons and the magic archer ultimate is the strongest ability in the game

I think it getting destroyed is scripted so you can partially learn the mechanics of the area, that places can & will be deleted off the map.
How do you take out talos early? I'm pretty sure that fight is scripted. I knocked out all the things on it within seconds of attacking each one until the last one which I spent literal minutes attacking.

@Majin2buu make sure to get at least one eldricite from purple ghosts as they are suuuper rare in base game. Then you can dupe the heck out of it at the old man's shop 😂.
There are supposedly some specific items in unmoored but mostly not
@@zaoshikung2756 I’ve never thought about that. That is a great idea makes me feel dumb😂
I didn’t realize this was an option until after I started NG+😢
Same. I knew there were weapons there somewhere but didn't see it in any vendors and figured I'd either spend forever trying to find them, or finish the story and start again. Whoopsie daisy.
Not the worst. I was underleveled and under-equipped for it so It actually overwhelmed me at first
Pretty sure in NG+ you can buy endgame stuff at the dragonflrged
Did it, started new game+, game crashed while walking and now the save file is corrupted, thus ends my journey with dragons dogma 2
If anyone doesn't know you can stop the fog from moving permanently in the first 3-5 minutes with minimal work
Edit: it's 1 evacuation and the red beam in bahtal then a secret place/thing, and bam fogs stopped for good you can stay indefinitely but still can't die or itll reset
Elaborate, please?
@@Darthsikk just a disclaimer for anyone who reads this 'SPOILERS'
do what I stated above I evacuated the elves then did the bahtal beacon and walked over to talos it triggers an event, that's all ill say
I just beat the game a couple minutes ago and got a basic ending of killing the dragon at the battlefield area he brings you, returned to vermund to become the Sauveron, but i talked to the spirit guy twice and he sent me back on the dragon in flight and i just killed it again not knowing i could climb around and use the godsbane on him or me. Now I'm starting a new game plus and hopefully I'll do it better this time lol. I just want a happy ending for me and Ulrika
Really helpful. Thank you😊
Maybe I missed it, but I have yet to hear you mention that you can get dwarven smithing in Bakbattahl--which is much more convenient.
I wish that when going into ng+ i could activate the unmoored world permanently :(
What would be good is in Ng+ there's a special teleport to take you to their, kinda like the Ur Dragon in DD1 in Ng+.
You can activate it permanently while inside it, but still can't die or itll reset, takes like 5 mins to stop the fog permanently
@@771REVENGEcare to explain?
@@bnick8282 I'm guessing it's by completing the beacons, I knew they affected the mist but not that it fully stopped it
@@bnick8282 I went straight to the sunken city started the evacuation quest, went to the elves evactued them and then did the beacon in bahtal and on my way to moonlit tower I bumped into talos and that's all I need to say I won't spoil the most awesome event I've ever seen go try it have fun in the unmoored
What do you do after equipping yourself with Unmoored World equipment and fully upgrading it? What is the actual endgame? From what I have heard NG+ does not introduce stronger enemies and neither is there any harder content. What is the purpose of all this farming and these chores?
Dlc
I haven't played this game yet but i will Tuesday I'm excited hope it's good on Ps5.
Sarah (the apprentice in batahll) becomes a dwarven smith after the quest
You should be fine. I'm like high 40s sorcerer and I'm not really having trouble.
am planning to go to level 99 ( overkill but atleast i'll be sure to succeed )
So glad I watched this before I let this cutscene with phaseus play out
If you dont make it during the 10 days and the game throws you into ng+ will you be able to keep the new endgame gear?
Im here for whats to come in dragons dogma 2
FYI - you can unlock Dwarven smithing earlier in the game by completing the smithing questline in the desert city. Both require you to go to the volcanic island but one can be done much earlier. It also unlocks the shop there and if you gift her flowers you can get 10% discount. She has some of the best stuff in the game.
They both require the Volcanic Island, so it's not really earlier at all lol
So if you could make it tutorial on the third dragon, I’ll call it not the second dragon it’s the final dragon in the endgame after you beat all the lasers or whatever they are coming out from the ground.
but how do i get the master warfarer skill i got warfarer in that world
I've got the same problem, got the vocation from him but not the skill, which for the warfarer is pointless
@@AlmaJinyou just talk to the guy a second time
He should give you the skill at the same time as the vacation (might have to talk to him a second time right after getting warfarer)
He gives it as a scroll that you need to read when you are a warfarer... It's counterintuitive
@@zackwaggoner4346 I'm already at Ng+ 💀
Guess I'll do the regular quest line
You need to give him a special drinks three times ;-)
Great video. Thanks 👌🏻 If you put Down a portcrystal in The anmeldes Village and The sky consumes it. Is it Then Lost in a New game +
@@Harbinger421do u know abt a good dragon farming spot lol?
@@stealthninja4195 Sadly no I don't. I'm just running around and killing what I find. I'm currently obtaining materials to start upgrading all my armour and weapons to min max their stats to the best that I can.
@@stealthninja4195there are three drakes a short hike from Checkpoint town. One in the valley next to the big castle, another one along the path to the cave that you can use to bypass the gate, and iirc there is one along the OTHER path to bypass the gate. Occasionally one will show up a little bit north of Harve, but I haven’t seen it very often.
Think the respawn is 7 days.
Can i ask for your pawn code so i can friend u 3 ?
My game is bugged and I cannot complete multiple quests and get multiple master skills. I’ve done everything necessary and stayed away from the main quests as much as possible. It just seems these characters are caught in a strange limbo. So no warrior, sorcerer or mage for me until hopefully next playthrough.
If u do unmoored will all those items be available in Ng+?
What happens if you stab yourself as soon as you get the godsbane blade?
I wish dragons dogma 2 actually had an endgame where we get unmoored world permanent until new game. Wish it wasn't on a timer.
Just commenting to boost algorithm, not watching though since first playthrough is only guides on gear/mechanics and no lore, thank you all for your contributions :>
Man does anybody know were i can get fruit wine from? Besides the 1 that brant gives you for buying the house? I messed up the newt liquor mission, i didnt where the dam mask and now i cant get newt liquor from the black market vendor, my only option is to craft it but i cant find any fruit wine 😢
goto the guy who forges items u can just forge 3
Endgame is definitely lacking. I rescued everyone but it’s got to the point where it won’t let me rest anymore, so farming endgame monsters is ruined. They desperately need something like bitterblack isle, just a place jammed full of the hardest and rarest monsters to farm.
Also once you save everyone you can save normally, or there’s at least some requirement to be able to save/load which can be fulfilled. I’m in the unmoored world on NG+ and it’s been letting me save in the normal manner, I haven’t died yet though so idk how that works
BBI wasn’t added until 2 years later. The games been out two weeks lol give them time to make the DLC, at least we got some kind of end game.
To get the gear you don’t have to go there. Just reach new game plus and the vendor will have it
When I got to true engame I had all the Ports unlocked even the Harbor which I missed on my first playthrough.
I was around level 50 I think and it was so much fun. Thief is so busted i just destroyed everyone haha
FYI zeal only gives you a 5% boost to stamina
Nice guide. Not too spoilery but very clear on what needs to be done before and during the endgame!
I wonder if buying rounds at the bars will make people trust me more for that specific portion 😂.
Can you go back to the normal world after the unmoored world without goin to game plus?
Pilfer is broken please check out how ridiculously easy and fast you can get wyrmslife crystals. Even if you don't play thief or warfarer get one thief pawn you will thank me later.
Does Pilfer work more than once?
Or do you use a full party of pilfering thieves?
For the vernworth quest the ornate box doesn't appear for me. What should I do?
I have 597WLC if I start new game plus is it still going to be in my inventory ?
bruhhhh i needed this video 2 hours ago
i beat the game and was wondering whats next and i entered unmoored world just to realize that it forces me into an end game and i cant go back to my last inn save. i havent even met the sphinx yet. theres a bunch of stuff i hadnt done yet, but i guess ill just have to do them in NG+
I hope to hunt new monsters whether through paid DLC or not and more post game content
I wouldn’t do this ending unless your gear is min/maxed because if you die it resets you back to the very very beginning
Looking forward to a moonjump mod...
I cant do bhaklbatal. For some reason menella doesnt show up, or the cutscene doesnt trigger
Why can i still save the game manually while in the new world? Like am i not supposed to only be able to save by sleeping??
In the previous mission to save Doireann, I failed and failed to resurrect her. Now I am stuck in the mission of Elf Village Chief. Do you have any solutions?
wakestone to ressurect her, u will find her at vernsworth cementery
