I will never spend another dime in a walmart. I had a cashier in the self checkout get way into my space when I told her please go bother someone else she called some other lady to watch me like a hawk. As I was leaving the second lady just had to open her mouth. She says have a nice day in a very condescending way I told her to go screw herself she immediately says she was just doing her job as she walks to the register to check a duplicate receipt. I get they have theft I get they have a job to do. But, the second lady didn’t need to be a smart mouth to me. The fact that some steal doesn’t give you the right to mistreat all your customers. Since walmart thinks we are all potential thieves I am done with them.
So the way you approach to them was rude how you’re not aware of that, when a costumer is rude on the self checkout that’s automatically a red flag because majority of the people that steal get aggressive with associates just for doing their job, just don’t take it personal if they are not bothering you by pausing the transaction multiple times or something, if you know you ain’t doing anything just don’t worry abt it, at the end of the day you being watch on camera so whatever happen you know you did your part

Unfortunately Walmarts plan is to replace all checkouts to self check outs. They already did it with the two near me. Seriously I wonder why anyone shops there any more.
I don’t go to Walmart but I do go to a local store and use self check out all the time, it’s more faster and I don’t have to talk to people. Though it’s good to know to avoid Walmarts self checkout or just avoid Walmart altogether.
One Walmart Market store in Alamogordo NM is 99% self check out. Only one check out is human run . So what’s your choice: In& Out. Or. Wait an excessive time for the human touch.

It didn't think you were stealing. It just detected a "misscan" which can be caused by a number of things. Holding something in your hand too long, too many people's hands at the scanner, something wasn't picked up by the scanner by mistake, etc.
Yeah. I've seen some stories and it's just ridiculous. How they've treated ppl even this close they think have stolen but actually don't even and haven't stolen anything but do it for tge power hungry energy. It's sad as hell what this wold is coming down to. But.. honestly I believe it would be hard for Walmart to all together shut down due to stealing. It's not good when they do that but it's very bad to mistreat and make feel unwelcome customer s that come to your store every month and pay for everything. They have to stop the harassment.

This happens all.the time if you go throughself checkout. Sometimes, the machine does this. I go to self check out and stand right next to whatever clerk is there. If the store security person is there, that's even better cause it's just after the store opened up. They can see everything as I ring it up. I am watching to make sure the sale price rings up too. I never wait for anybody to see my receipt, I wave it in front of their face. I could argue the whole process but why bother

Walmart has cockroaches in our town. The employees feed them on the counter. There was crumbs on the counter and they were eating them right by the register.
That happen to me many times, It's so annoying if you fuck up an employee have to come and x some of your scanned items, Walmart should change the system to where customers can just cancel a item off on their own, This just a lazy excuse to give someone a job 😂
