Deepak Tijori is the most underrated actor. Many hit movies in 90s wouldn't be that successful without him in the movie.
Example aashiqui and many more
He can be a chad and he can be comic relief. What a versatile actor.
Sadak also
❤😂two ✌2⃣actors are missed in ❤this ❤star ⭐ cast dev mukherji and asrani also.
Correct 💯
"Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander" Always Will Be Take Place On Heart Of 90s People...💖💖💖
That was the best part in those movies, less of cosmetics and more of substance that's why these are evergreen movies forever in our hearts
Will you please tell me what it mean pajma chap @@paras11sharma
These original pieces of the 90s...no remixes, no item songs, no sex, no extravagant thrills...just pure movie making! Its still oven fresh! My childhood love JJWS!
VERY WELL SAID 👏
10000 crore times better than laal singh chadda this movie is , this movie can very easily beat Forrest grump
@@milankumar350Lol forget Forrest Gump..You do realise this movie was also a copy of another western movie! 😂
Epic scene when Mamik who always avoids fights comes pushing away others to protect his younger brother and fights the goons... Still gives goose bumps
To be honest... Deepak was the best actor in the movie... He acted so well that we started hating him.. I wanted him to get beaten... But that proves how well he acted and gave total justification to his role. One of the best negative role in bollywood. 👏
Really yar...
True! I like him so much! In movies like 'JJWS, Aashiqui, and Vastav'!
Sahi yar
Sadly deepak suffers heavy financial crisis, even kicked out of his house by his wife
Trueee
Dipak Tijori gives us the real feeling of 90s
He was a component of 90s cinema!!
True
sin so true
Yupp..in Ashiqui too
He was one of the best sidekick /friend actor of 90's
Manik Singh n Deepak Tijori should get more role in industry ....why directors are not casting them they are brilliant Actor
Manik Singh is my fav in that movie
It's nepotism nothing else
I remember Mamik later did Chandrakanta

Watched it in 1992 may during my 2 months school vacation. Aamir, Deepak, Aysha, Mamik, pooja. It was unforgettable days with the climax of the movie was memorable.
Irshad Ali abb bhi dekholo masata hai purane din yad karlo best movie. 😋😁
Ghanshy yes koi bhi waqt dekho. It's always fresh.
Irshad Ali that's true.👍☺️☺️☺️
Mamik is a pure gentle man...although he's been called on stage earlier but left his spot for others...and ended up being at the end of the row...but he's the real SIKANDER here!! Being the wiser he knows the real value of letting others win even though the spot was fixed for him...and it's coming from a Muslim.
Marching Giant wow well said and a bang on observation. still remember how beautifully he portrayed the role of aamir's elder brother !
Marching Giant That’s really true
Dont like how aamir is behaving.
@Rangeela Rasool and if you were better, neutral or didn't have any other ideas, then you could've simply avoided it without raising a flag...
@@marchinggiant2423 Well I guess many of those who read your comment pretty much noticed that thing.. Simply if this was a "Christian thing, a Hindu thing, a Sikh thing, or 'any other' thing", no one would've said "it's coming from a "Hindu/Sikh/Christian".. This is why.. Now it doesn't mean if you would not have stated it in the end you would've shown less respect to your religion.. Still not saying what you said was wrong, but was simply unnecessary where the religion was no where close to the point of context of what you were saying..
"Jo jita wahi sikandar" is once for life time movie. Can't be remade. Thanks to Mansoor and other people involved with it. Reunion is also appreciated.
"Arey Ratan ! ,tere haath me laal phool"🤣

The most simple actress Ayesha jhulka, and the very handsome actor of his time Mamik.. 😍
How come you guys did not invite Udit Narayan ? Not even mention him. You guys need to appreciate singers too.
Saurav Jha sofe kam pad gaye.
True
Saurav Jha Exactly.. this was my point! Pehla Nasha is a classic of this movie.
Sir Sir Sir, Je kya kehdiya Sir.
man u inlightened my heart with my childhood memories luv this movie
I still remember once I went to my uncle's home in late 1990s or early 2000s and this movie was being aired on some channel but he was watching some news. I requested him to change it and he did and I got to watch the whole final race. Sweetest memories of childhood. 🥰 Uncle is no more but this is one vivid memory among many I have with him.
I wasn't even born in 1992 but I wish I was a teenager in 90's 😍💖
I was at college In 90s
@Niki sha Same here!!! I was born like, 10 years later, but even today I can feel that magic!!
Which college shooting is that
I was in fourth standard
So True❤
I remember we used to live in a joint family and we had a uncle who had a VCR rent shop. So we all cousins (15 or so) at a time used to watch all good movies on VCR for free on sundays. This is one of the movies we enjoyed a lot watching. We used to cheer and shout during the cycling race. Memories flashing in my mind. Those were the days. I miss them😊
Exactly abhishked rent of video casseste was expensive that time 15 to 20 and who had vcr that time we used yo think oh man the person who had vcr was rich person vce was expensive thqt time hehe lol

Ameya Kapre dude he is still in memory of 2000's(year) Kids as Vikraal.
He is Vikraal for me..
Mamik was always fantastic as a model actor before this guys He was in Chandrakanta ,
Ameya Kapre mamik Singh is vikral?
Everyone talks about “Pehla Nasha,” but my favorite song from the film, and one of my all-time favorites, is “Rooth Ke Humse Kahin”. It’s such a lovely ode to the bond between siblings. (Also, I didn’t realize that 20-something Farah Khan looked a lot like her cousin Zoya Akhtar.)
How beautiful 90's era was !!

Deepak Tijori.....unsung hero of 90 era ....very nice soul and god gifted man...with very charming smile......he is a real hero of 90 cinema.
I watch this movie every three months or so and cry Over the same scenes over and over again. Shekhar Malhotra from Rajput college was my first crush. Still blush when I see him onscreen after 25 years 😁
Pooja bedi is still deadly 😍😍😍😍😍

Pooja's spirit needs an equally spirited audience.
Shame that even Imraan is called for a 30sec screen presence, but the singers are not called. Udit Narayan and Sadhna Sargam are not even mentioned once, while they chat about Pehla Nasha for length. Without their magical voice, would the song be such a sensation??
Every body in the panel knows who sung the songs.. singers might now have time.. chill bhai
Stfu
Well tbh the music it had was the most memorable.. Not that the singers didn't do a great job, but just replace them with any other singer of that time but keep the music, it'll sound 90% the same.. Cause it was basically the music which gave the song it's title tbh.. And Lalit Pandit is there, so I'm fine with him being there, it's more than enough..
Aur baaki Imran Khan ka screen time kitna bhi ho, he was pretty famous when this movie mela happened (and he still is famous till date) so him being there was a no-brainer..
Tht is clld NEPOTISM🤣🤣
Just because of these all guyes are belonging to page 4 party discussion.....without udit narayan ji....the most famous playback singer of Hindi cinema ...this show ....is just empty basket of flowers..❤️
Watched this movie an hour back for the 100th time. It just doesn’t get old. Shekhar Malhotra was my first crush😅. I’ll always blush at the mention of Shekhar ‘s name
I was Born in 1992. And I watched this movie on vcr in the late 90's when I was 8 or 9 years old. Love from Lahore

This director Mansoor Khan is actually alumni of IIT BOMBAY and later went to MIT for PhD program but came back to pursue his dream in filmmaking.
Doesn't matter anyway, commented just for knowledge
Dhanraj Shetty FYI he dropped out of both the institutes without completing the course!!
What a waste of IIT and MIT seat. Could have gone to someone understanding the worth of it.
to copy a hollywood movie and make jo jeete...

Same here 😊
I was 0 years when it was released 😂
I remember Khalid Mohammad in “The Times of India” wrote very highly of this movie with a title” A winner at last”
This was very unusual because he rarely praised any movie. I still have the clipping of that review which was published under “Bombay Times”. In hindsight, the praise bestowed by the reviewer seems well justified in view of the outstanding success this movie witnessed.
Amazing info👌
Fantastic movie
Fantabulous actors
Melodious music
A combo for everyone
Thank you director for giving us such a beautiful cinema and definitely you're a winner as jo jeeta wohi sikander
💗💗💗Love you Aamir sahab
Well said Raja👍
jo jeeeta wohi sikander ...a gem of a movie brilliant.
The movie "jo jeeta "had a special place in heart to all those who were a student in that era. You can sometimes hear a song, even can sing it but some songs and the lyrics are there to smell ..like a booming fresh flowers. Pehla nasha got that feel ....As they could reconnect you to your own good times....Majestic actors, correlations everything perfect. Just watch the movie and you won't be able to tell whether the tears in your eyes are because of love, affection, your never ever give away attitude or the relation between the son and a father..Hats off to the entire cast who may have imparted lot more values in others life.... hope the smell of it may never die....
Very beautiful movie. I remember my school days at St. Patrick's School, Pune. Finished my 10th/SSC in 1989. ❤❤🎉🎉🥰😊💐💐🌹🌷
Deepak Tijori can try as a villain. He still looks good.
Can we just take a moment to discuss how the split of Jatin-Lalit was such a huge, huge loss to the Hindi movie industry? :( RIP good music!

Same with me 😜
One of greatest moive in 90s my all time favourite moive..💖
Just came to see Mamik Singh aka my favorite childhood character Vikraal.
Flash back of those childhood memories.
Jo Jeeta Bees Saal Baad:
Mamik became head cycling coach of national academy .
Sanju (Amir Khan) was completely changed after winning the race.. He studied well, became entrepreneur and is now running automobile business with his wife, Ayesha Jhulka, as technical head.
Speaking of that Ayesha Jhulka did Phd in Automobile Engineering after school.
Devika is divorcee and had 5 marriages and is major socialite in page 3 circuit.... but still looking for 'true love'.
Deepak Tijori expanded his father's business to new height and often visits Rajpoot college as chief guest on anuual day... In his speech he always mentions students to work hard and always be humble.
This should be the second part nice thougth.
Outstanding brother. Fabulous
Ye kya tha bhai ???😊😊😊
Haha.. nicely summed up !
Nicely summed 😂😂
But I think Aamir would definitely go bankrupt since Automobile industry has witnessed total loss with large job-cuts happening. Poor Aamir
This movie will never come again...

people do it when they are least interested or nervous.
Jo jeeta wahi sikander was truly a heart touching movie and still relevant❤️❤️
This movie is so close to my heart . Makes me feel nostalgic . Brings back those old school days when me and bro watched it on cable channel and never missed one scene ! Especially the cycle race .. those were the days !
Deepak Tijori and Puja Bedi so very unchanged. Just as they were in the movie.

anasua sarkar u are pretty too
anasua sarkar not deepak bro now he has a lot of fat
Sorry bro nahi sis 😂😂
Also Amir woh toh young hy h 😂
Seeing the programme I felt so nostalgic for those golden days of my life..
Epic Song. PEHLA NASHA... I still love this song... The starting music 🎶 is very beautiful.... And the last scene when Aamir wins the race that is also spectacular...
Nobody took the name of Majruh Sultanpuri sahab, even though he wrote such a beautiful song for this movie...
@19:49 aamir mentioned majrooh sultanpuri sahab
Majrooh sir and Nasir Hussian association was the best and lasted till Manzil Manzil same with R.D.Burman
I just remembered mamik Singh was also in saif Ali Khan & pretty zinta's Kiya kehna film, so jo jeeta was not his only 1 film that he had done in his film career.

AAmir khan,Ayesha jhulka 😍👏
I watched pehla nasha song first in 1998, its remix. A small boy in school acting on it with an ice-cream in his hand to share with a girl. I was just 7 then.
Deepak Should get Roles in Web Series he is Really a Good actor.
This brought back the great memories of 90s! Saw it in early 90s on VHS in Pakistan and absolutely loved the movie! They don't make such movies anymore ... Miss the 90s so much!
Deepak Tijori was the heart of the movie... If you actually see.... He gives the real challenge from one big well known college to the other ordinary college.... Giving challenge to Two brothers..... Deepak portrayed his character very well.... It was not a dark or grey character... But it was a young challengers character...... (the story is from the ordinary college and it's students and their life and their point of view) But unfortunately according to our Indian mentality we never give credit or appreciate such character actors.... He was very good in ashique too... Look at him how handsome he is now too...
If you watch this video carefully, Amir did a forced formality in just hugging and quickly shrugging away from him (deepak) showing an excuse that he got surprised looking at Dev and as if Amir is going to miss Dev, he hurries to Dev.. Actually he neglected Deepak, he wanted to neglect....
Even after achieving so much (than his colleagues from this film) after the film till date and still going strong, Amir has not handled people with respect... He has achieved all.. He could have been more friendly...with his heart out... Come on its a beautiful Reunion something like a reunion of school mates....mansoor on the other hand too., did not handle such a beautiful occasion.. Well enough..
Well said
Simon Netto exactly you are right because of Deepak amirs acting looked good.even in ashiqui also

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this film.
I remember the first 6-12 months of college... Pehla Nasha was the ONE song that would blast from EVERY hostel window on campus.... EVERY single day.. morning and night!!! Great memories... !!!
All credit goes to Deepak tijori. In ashiqui also
In ashiqui the credit only goes to the music not to the actor no nothing it was the music which made it the best and made the film even a hit
nostalgic,time flies so quick
I was in college....and the song .. "pehala nasha"...was just written for us 90 s folks
This takes me back to my childhood. What a wonderful film, the likes of which will never be made again. Every character brought something special to the role, it dealt with so many themes and the music was beautifully crafted. I wish I would go back in time and experience this movie for the first time, again.
What an amazing get together and nostalgic walk into the past. I remember buying the music and mesmerized with "Pehla Nasha". The film itself is one of my favorite Hindi films. Superb acting by all and the coming together of many giants of Hindi cinema. Love from a Scottish Pakistani.

Loved this film. I had watched it multiple times during that time. And we used to discuss with our friends about deven bhojani's and the other friend's acting capabilities. This film captured its audience from beginning till the last scene. Would love to see a re-make of this with the same quality and enthusiasm it bore in all aspects
Even there are many people on the stage, talented are quiet and showpieces are bluffing
Deepak, Ayesha and Lalit are silent
Because they didn't get opportunity and plus they were not interested to talk much also 😂
