Hey brother. I changed all the spark plugs for my Sonata. And you were right. The process did not take long at all. And the engine seems to be running better. Thanks for all the help!
@@LetsRepair does the sonata 13 have wires to replace as well or the ignition coil ? Or both can be replaced ? Im not sure they have wires or just ignition coils
Hey bud! Saw both your videos on replacing spark plugs for the 2013 Sonata. I noticed on the nearly 13-minute one, you mentioned for spark plug designations 1, 4, 3, 2. Do we put in spark plugs in either socket? Just to make sure before I work on replacing them. Looking forward to hearing from you. Oh, also when I purchased the spark plugs from Auto Zone, the clerk said to use anti-seize on the fasteners. I live in Virginia and I saw the disclaimer saying to use it if you live in the East Coast. Just making sure.
I would only use anti seize if the plugs call for them, On the plugs i used in the video it said do NOT put anti seize. and then for the firing order, no it doesn't matter bud you can do them from left to right or right to left lol. Hope this helps man!
Honestly though on second thought you being in Virginia, You should probably put a little around the top side of the threats on each one just in case lol.
Yeah, not sure if I would put any on those, When you pull them off if they aren't rusted I would just leave them the way they are. Here's the Torque Specs for the Spark plugs FTLBS =15 to 22 NM = 20 to 30
I put a bunch of info in the Description if anyone needs it check there. Thanks for watching!

@@LetsRepair I bought Denso Iridium Long Life
What is the torque spec for the coil pack bolts?
I couldn't remember off hand so I double checked, The Haynes repair manual doesn't specify a torque setting for it. Pretty sure it's just snug lol.
@@LetsRepairbruh…
that’s crazy even in the haynes it doesn’t even specify the torque🤦🏻
oh wait he says in the video should be between 15-22lb ft, to which he sets it to 20. 👍🏼hope that helps
