If you are tired and it seems nothing is happening on your UA-cam channel, please don't give up. This is a reminder that every work and effort you do will pay off someday. Don't forget to take a break to release your stress. We all have different timeline. You are not late or behind. You are just in time. Keep working and keep praying🙏❤
Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame -ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
For us, as beginners in UA-cam, it's soo difficult to judge when an advice is good or not. Our channel started doing pretty well at the beginning and then it simply stoped having views, new subscribers, etc., exactly when I was following instructions from some type of "SPECIALIST".. After a really bad period, it looks like we are starting to have some positive results for a VERY small channel again... We'll keep fighting to get the first 1K subs and 4k hours!! Thank you for your content!!
I think his advise is good. As posting daily is not that possible unless you spend whole month a year for production and then use it for a year. The best maybe do not force yourself to be a UA-camr but just treat it as an hobby
Things I have noticed about algorithm. 1. Algorithm will push your videos to number of viewers. 2. After that, youtube will calculate your retention, watch time, likes and engagement. 3. Once your video fulfils certain number, algorithm will find set of viewers again and same step repeat the item Number 1.
What i’ve learned in my UA-cam Journey (it’s been 8 months), what worked for my channel was to answer questions people were asking, I started doing gaming videos because since i was a child that was my dream, but, being realistic, i noticed it was almost impossible to get youtube famous with gaming because there’s just so many other gaming channels, so i started doing some research and started thinking: what do i like to do? what topic is really interesting to me? So i decided to make videos about anime (one piece in general), because i really love that anime, so i started with one single theory, and that video has over 85k views and is still going up today! What i’m trying to tell you guys is that, don’t make videos just because you want to be famous or to make a lot of money, make videos in order to give viewers some value! VALUE! Since that video that went semi viral, i’ve started creating a community involving anime and one piece and it’s really going well, my channel is monetized, and my views are going up and up, so yeah, what you want to give your viewers is VALUE!!!!!!
That’s what I need to do as I think that being a gaming UA-camr can be hard sometimes so that’s why I’m also going to make another UA-cam channel about legos just in case my gaming UA-cam channel backfired. I might even make a channel about the weather as that is my true passion!😂
Awesome video. I am small UA-camr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame -ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).
I’ve learned even as a new gaming channel that I only gain subscribers when I stop worrying about it. I just like making my videos without too much worry. I just play my weird indie/ horror games and go on about my day. I used to look at it as a chore when I started worrying about analytics. You get too much in your head. I saw an interview where someone said to just post and go. Don’t worry about it doing well. I really haven’t been doing this long at all and I don’t have many subscribers but I’m confident I’ll get there off of good vibes and putting in the work
I use to livestream on Yt In 2015 and reached 1.8k subs, made many friends and many returned to each stream everyday, I was monetised but didnt earn anything. I had to take a break as I was always tired and it impacted my job performance which was a tough place to work as it is. I then returned to streaming but on PC instead of PS4 this time and my views were not as great but I was able to welcome gamers from all 3 platforms with the use of crossplay but still my channel took a hit as Yt wasn't pushing notifications to my subs as much anymore. I ultimately stopped streaming on Yt and maybe uploaded one or two clips every now and then but it was considered a dead channel to me, the era was over. But then something happened, I started uploading again in April of this year, just short clips that are either goofy or informative and I've had 250k views since April 15th til now, my overall impressions for the channel hit 1.1million and my CTR is at least 7.3%, so Yt is actively pushing my content, now I just need to be consistent with the good stuff, I noticed that videos starting with words like "How" and "This" etc seem to catch people's eye. My next thing to do is to create thumbnails.
I’m so proud of myself for starting a UA-cam channel with a small Samsung phone that my dad got me at the age of 14. now I’m 19 and still going strong! 💪🏾 🎥
Just made channel for my 3 year old daughter . It’s going great . It’s hard work for me as working guy but still would say passion and hard work always helps . I have subscribed to VidIQ services as well and it’s a great help . Stay blessed every one .
6:44 if your content and your style doesn't match your real authentic vibe..... "You'll eventually get burnout and UA-cam will start feeling like a job"... This is a big take way for me.... I always felt I had to create 8 minutes+ videos to showcase how knowledgeable I am in my niche... But that's not exactly the case....
I use to upload everyday shorts and normal videos 3 times a week. I just got bored with it. Last year in the summer I was looking at channels that pump out long 1 hour videos and saw communities really coming together guessing and waiting for the next video. I knew I wanted to go in that direction. Working on a 2 hour movie since August (8 months) and yes the views take a hit because I'm not spamming ppl feeds but I think long term its the right play. Also I think YT is going more toward that anyway
@@ChuckleChannel-Jokes try and pick a topic u like and once your good at making videos start following trends but using ur topic as the theme. Example... if u like baking ...elections are this year in America so bake Trump or Biden cakes. Is a example I can giev
Guess there's no one size fits all approach and it completely depends on your niche as to how often you should put out. The main thing is quality. I have been doing one a week quite consistently but the quality (I make them with my wife) shoots up each video. I know we'll master it, too. Researching, adapting, building and always ensuring I am giving value to my audience, whether large or small. I care that people come away from my videos with a new understanding of poetry.
I have small channel with mostly no views, but I’m really like what I’m doing and how I’m progressing from video to video. I think my main reason to go on is an idea filming and documenting my life to watch it way later with my grandchildren, my husband and say :oh, this is us 30 years ago!😌
@@NewMexicoCountrySongs yeah…once I’ve tried to promote 1 of my video through UA-cam studio for week, expected receive…300 subs max, but instead I’ve got about 3500. And now I’m upset because I don’t understand what to do with this. And WHY they followed me if the don’t watch 🤔 hope my channel will survive 😬
@sofiapopova0205 yeah it's confusing to me also. Think they could be bot subs? I would reach out to a couple random subscribers and see if there real. I'm just untrusting about things is all.
@@NewMexicoCountrySongs well, I´ve researched my subs and saw than a have tones viewers from Vietnam, 67 percent to be sure. I´ve explored their pages and it seems like they are real people, BUT I´m not sure that they speak or understand Russian (language that was chosen for promo )...sooo for some reason they decided to subscribe but not interact with my content. Oh, and also I see that they leaving one by one daily. At the end of promo i´ve got 3605 and now 3593 (week after)
I feel the pain I've spent almost 1 year posting content that I take time to make, I'm not capable of faceless mass posting or taking others content. I made my own songs, videos, films and motivational all original and I literally don't get views 😂😂😂 at this point it's a hobbie and absolutely nothing else until I see lifeforms, unfortunately it's feeling like a job. Tried to hire a "professional" nearly got me banned for hundreds of 1 word comments and bot views 😅
I‘m having a small retro gaming handheld related channel on UA-cam. What i‘ve learned from my time creating content is that not all advices work for every niche. It‘s very much dependent and you need to try technics to see if they work out for you. Here‘s my top 3: 1. Interact with your viewers in comments. React to each one and take critic with respect. The good and the bad. 2. Be authentic. Don‘t try to be someone you are not. It won‘t work out in long term. Being yourself always gives you something unique to differ your channel to others. 3. Follow the priority rule: Thumbnail, Title, Video idea, Presentation, Video editing
I agree the advice given is so basic on these channels but the niche is important. Having a gaming channel isn't the same audience as a cooking channel. The viewers are different ages and demographics.
So I did a test this year… I posted a Short once a day for about 10 months so far, and I can honestly say that I understand the algorithm better. Here’s my takeaway: impressions come and go like the tides. There is a predictable periodic cycle when the tide rolls in and you get a flood of impressions. Then there are days that the tide is out and that incredible video you thought would do great only gets 6 impressions ever. I did the math even: The “blessed” days are not always the same. What I’m saying is that there are pre-programmed days that you will get more impressions and therefore more views. I sort of feel like a surfer waiting for the perfect wave 🌊 🏄
@@kirkmangaming thank you for this. I have a new Shorts channel focused on things I learned homeschooling eight kids and helping families make learning fun again. I get between 5 and 500 views on each. It’s so random.
@@Fox-and-Bear-React Simply putting more content out there helped my numbers immensely! Views and subscribers (not watch time because the daily video were shorts!) after almost a full year of posting daily, I don’t know if it’s the right answer. Watching the algorithm “bless” certain videos in a predictable periodic cycle, I would say post 2-4 each week at the max. More than that and the algorithm doesn’t have enough time to full send out and promote each video. I needed to do daily videos because of how much content there was to get out there, but for my new series, I am posting way less.
I'm a small content creator that gets many times overwhelmed by everything YT related as in advices. Tips, tricks to "get better" are in so found easy. The idea others "are better", and I as a smallfry creator feeling like an imposter is not only harmful but will make creators like me lose faith, fun and reason to do what why one started to create vids. So now I try to look at it as a journey, to learn new skills, showcase to friends I make a long the way what I enjoy showing, in my case an indie game. I take from the advice what I want to try and just ignore the rest. I have no desire to grow huge, I just want to enjoy creating my own style and growing my skills. Who knows where my channel will go😊.
This video boils down to one key message: don't get bogged down by generic UA-cam advice and focus on finding what works for you and your unique content. While tips like daily posting and SEO optimization can be helpful for some channels, they shouldn't be treated as gospel. Instead, prioritize creating quality content that resonates with your audience and reflects your authentic passion. Experiment, find your style, and don't be afraid to break the mold. Remember, UA-cam is a marathon, not a sprint, so focus on enjoying the process and connecting with your viewers. The rest will follow. What the video doesn't explicitly say is that finding your own path on UA-cam requires self-awareness and a deep understanding of your target audience. It's not just about ignoring generic advice; it's about actively seeking out what works for your specific niche and content style. This might involve analyzing your analytics, experimenting with different formats, and engaging with your viewers to understand their preferences. Ultimately, success on UA-cam comes from creating content that your audience loves, and that starts with knowing who you are and who you want to reach.
I started my channel less than a month ago and at 56 subscribers i’m already happy. I still got a ways to go but every milestone is a small step forward.
You know, you're so right! If UA-cam becomes like a full-time job, I can totally see how you'd start getting tired of it after a while. My channel's only been going for like, two or three months, and honestly, I just love making music videos, even if no one's watching. At least I’m doing something I enjoy, right? So, I decided to post only one video a week to give myself extra time to think of new lyrics and fun ideas. I believe there’ll always be someone who will fall in love with my videos eventually. I already have 5 people who like them! Haha 😄!
I'm running a gaming channel so I post pretty much every day, but that comes with a caveat. I post a playthrough video once a week more or less, and follow that up with shorts, game tips, and combat technique videos cut from that playthrough video that take me through the remainder of the week and sometimes longer. Templates are KEY, for thumbnails AND videos. Consistent trailers and intro's and outro's lend a professional look and feel. And DO NOT underestimate the importance of good sound quality. Speak loudly, clearly and get real familiar with a program like Adobe Audition.
8:25 I’m a very tiny channel, and doing it for fun, sticking to my personality. I’ve been doing a few things you already suggested, which tells me I’m on the right track, but learned some ideas too! Thank you for your info!
@@Tier1sports it took about 8 months to get my hours and about 6 months to get the subscribers. But of course different channels grow at different speeds.
I fell into alot of these traps sadly, I moved away, deleted everything and have started over with fresh insight and renewed energy. This video is absolutely spot on and anyone who watches it should know this info is golden! Goodluck to everyone, were all in this together
The best advice I can give a content creator is “ no matter if you get 300 views, 5 likes, and no comments, keep pushing and be grateful for that 300 views your channel will grow.” 2025 can be your year just keep pushing and be grateful for any little accomplishments little by little you’ll get better, at the end of the day the journey is what counts while the goal is in process, that’s what I’m trying to do god bless and I pray your contents goes viral 💪🏾🔥🥂
The starting sooner thing is very real for me. Really wish I started my channel 10+ years ago. Thanks for helping me the last 3+ years of actually doing UA-cam
Thanks for the advice. I'm at the point where I'm finally going to be able to monetize my channel. I've had my channel since 2006 and I used to post my music on my channel way back then but then went well over a decade without adding any content to it. Last month I decided to start reacting to music videos and other content and to my absolute shock I received over 400 new subscribers in a span of only a couple of weeks! I've always wanted to be a UA-cam content creator but since my channel didn't get attention from my music I got to the point where I gave up. Now I'm back at it and having a blast and I finally feel like I have a new hobby that I'm falling in love with outside of making music and gaming!
I need some major advice. My biggest video had over 400k views. I can’t monetise it because it has four different instances of copyright protected content found. The video still gets about 150 views daily. It’s a documentary style video where j make commentary on a singer. If I dispute these four claims under fair use and lose, is there a big risk I’ll lose my whole channel????
@@guanciottaman it’s frustrating because Ive multiple other videos that follow the same format and received no copyright problems, yet the potentially most lucrative does 💀
You’ll get a strike…but it falls off after 90 days. So if I was you I was file the dispute unless I have a bunch of other stuff that is likely to get a strike. The risk-vs-reward seems to be in favor of filing the dispute.
My experience so far. Started about 2 months ago, at first UA-cam was promo my videos then they stopped then I started promoting on social media getin a few views, few likes, and few subs and now UA-cam is back promo my videos. Add tags, improve your content, have seo for descriptions and tags, I don’t have great thumbnails but they def do make a difference. Also just improve as much as possible and keep going
I'm trying so hard to grow my UA-cam channel about indie games. It's a hell of a journey! Sometimes I can get views that are beyond my expectations, but sometimes it is not pushed enough and it ends up with 100-200 views. I have no idea how it works. I also struggle a bit because English is not my first language and I often mispronounce words 😅
I'm a gamer who partners with her son. I let other gamers dictate my channel and did almost everything they said. Our growth was so minimal compared to what I felt it could have been. Were we ahead of other gamers? Sure. We were doing better than some but something didn't feel right. Recently my son and I decided we just need to have fun and do what we feels right. Last month we gained another 100 subs(ish) and we are still growing faster than we were before! Now the reality is we are in a very broad niche but playing as mother and son as well as not really worrying about it all actually seems to work. Thanks for all your advice which we do follow cuz it's been shown to work!
Problem is, daily uploading will make your channel be Shadow banned just like me right now, and yes, my comments are disappearing randomly and my latest 2 shorts barely reach 1k views... Idk I am kinda mad Shadow banning exists on UA-cam and spending hard hours on a video just for it to fail and get stuck at 459 views and 718 shown in feed, which I usually have 25.5k Also, my typical view charts are broken as on channel dashboard it says less than usual and in the video analytics its "about the same as usual" ???
I have one question, Suppose I want to make three UA-cam channels in different niches Should I create these channels with the same email ID or I have to make different email IDs for different channels. please advise.
This is great advice!!! Thank you! My Fitness channel, I post every day in shorts... now I am trying to make longer videos showing my fitness journey... and while I can do it, it can take time, there can be minor issues such as editing being minimal...
I just started my UA-cam channel/ Podcast. The one thing I dont see, or maybe hours of research, nobody shows how they started, they say and put all this cool graphic AI bs. I want raw videos of the struggle. Its easy to say " yes I struggle when I just started " and you have over 100k to 1mil or more subs. I like this channel because it makes since in my head. The hard part for me is finding where I belong since my vibe is all over the place, but I enjoy talking about everyday things. Some is comedy, some is venting and some is about dealing with ADHD. My question is what is the best software. I use waveroom and have been trying to use DaVinci. None of my videos are edited yet. I have a hard time trying to add music, pop ups and things like that. I love all the comments and a lot of good advice on here.
I enjoy making thumbnails, title and my videos everytime. Though my channel growth is frustrating. The creating part is still fun 👌💖 goodluck and happy creating to all small youtubers like me 👍
A tip of my own as a youtuber with only 4 subs, i found out a revolutionary thing that will get your youtube channel popular and its to be yourself. I sat down and made a minecraft video yesterday and decided to act like how i do in real life and guess what, the video was amazing, so just do what you enjoy and act like a human and less like a star!
The truth is, having a UA-cam channel is the same as being a human, we are all very different, but we are the same. If you are genuinely attempting to help people, and your only goal isn't money and profit, then that is always best, so be yourself, be real, keep doing it, and you can go from 65 subs to 95 subs as I did in a week or so. It is growing. I like your channel and this is a nice video and I will watch a bit more, thanks for posting ~ Marc
I agree with you. Excessive researching will bog you down. I think finding a few people who you resonate with, who are doing well is important. Also seeking a solution for a specific need when learning how to use you tube is really helpful, but going down rabbit holes of information will kill your creativity. I'm two weeks in and having fun. It's been a super experience because i am doing things i had no idea i was capable of three weeks ago. It's an amazing experience.
Posting every day definitely seems like overkill, but I think when you're new, posting frequently is pretty helpful. I'm not sure how useful it is for gaining views or subscribers, but it definitely helps in learning the process of quickly creating videos, thumbnails, descriptions, etc. as well as getting useful feedback from analytics. Thanks so much for these videos, though. I'm still new to this, and your guys' videos provide actually useful, pragmatic advice.
In my experience, volume of videos directly correlates to subscriber and view counts in almost (but not quite - it's a bit worse than) a linear fashion. I don't create content (and don't intend to make profit from it), I forward videos and sometimes edit raw footage from China as a hobby and been observing the data just for the fun of it. You upload more - you get more views and more subscribers, but posting 3 videos in a day is the same as posting 3 videos over a week (seems slightly better to space it out, even). I didn't notice any benefit for posting often and a lot, unless you can produce unlimited amount of content without burning out.
I prefer to see more interesting but less frequent videos. I think however when a channel is established that you do stick to whatever frequency you've decided particularly if it's weekly...kind of like seeing certain channels output in specific days
i think you need to make gaps between your upload .becuz i am also same as you i have uploaded 4 videos per day and i get more subs but like VidIQ say my channel starts falling like from february 15 my channel start drop like from 29K-40K views and from 89-150 Subs to 2000-2500 views and -2,0,1,9 subs per day so i want to tell you from now on make gaps between days like or upload 4 days per week
@Dragoniel_Iskaliri_Silverwing Sometimes the Algorithm might work a bit slow though, at least for shorts. You might post 2 shorts in one day and one gets 5k views and the other gets like almost no views. But then the next day the one that has barely any bumps up to 3k out of nowhere.
You laid out some solid advise, success is seen different by each person and create content that you would like to watch. I'm just doing what I want and letting things go as they may. And if that entertains someone, awesome. Where I'm at in my life I just want a creative outlet, that's it. In the past I had a different channel, it was monetized and about Overwatch 1 content, which died when the adpocalypse came and it got stripped of the status. I was trying to be successful then. That adpocolypse did make me not bother to create for long while. But now I don't care, you only live once so express yourself. YT monetization brings in issues people haven't considered and in a rush to be Internet famous a lot of people aren't ready for the massive social engagement that would come with it.
I totally agree with your point. Speaking of my UA-cam channel I'm not trying to follow any trend but creating a personal diary to share my own thoughts and leaving a digital traces of my life.
Thanks for this. As a small channel with less than 100 subs so far, im just enjoying filming and editing and not getting caught up in numbers just yet.
I think it depends on the channel itself, if let’s say it’s a channel that follows trends like dancing trends or singing trends or challenges like the older ice challenge then it’s more profitable to upload as frequently as possible per week like daily or every two days but if let’s say you have a channel that is “deeper” than that which serves a higher purpose or another personal purpose then give yourself time to work on your content and ideas and upload less frequently per month. It’s also good to point out that with channels that have higher responsibility, it will also have more obligation so if let’s say you have a health channel or a healing channel that has videos which people depend on and need to follow in order to heal themselves or gain insights about overcoming challenges or social life then it’s also best to upload more frequently but not necessarily daily because people need you in those cases, so bottom line is, it depends on the content of your channel.
Thankyou for the encouragement. At times, when I watch alot of 'how to grow your UA-cam videos', I've become paralyzed and stressed by trying to follow all the advice and "rules". I enjoy it when I just keep learning and doing the best that I can do right now... I'll keep going, and keep learning! Thank you. 😄
@vidIQ I have a question. I have two channels. My main channel I can not locate in the UA-cam search bar anymore. I tried to share my channel with a potential subscriber & I couldn't found my channel. I had to text them my video through the studio app. Am I shadow banned? What is going on? Thanks for your help in advance 😊
You mean the channel is not appearing on UA-cam search? What about if you copy the channel link and paste on Google search, is it not appearing there too? Have UA-cam notified you of any community violation s ? Try again copying the channel link or the link of one of your videos and searching it on Google.
The tip, regarding templates, is definitely a good one. And creating a channel based around your own interests and personal knowledge is very important. I'm currently working on starting my first UA-cam channel, and appreciate your tips from personal experience.
My 13 year old son is literally just starting out as a YT Content Creator and is just so eager to get out as many gaming videos as possible. However, I’ve been trying to tell him to take his time and learn how to edit his videos before publishing. Making quality videos once a week, is much better in the long run, than making a video once a day, that isn’t edited. It’s definitely a learning process, but he’ll get it. Plus I’ll be right beside him to guide and encourage him the whole way. Thanks for this advice. I’ve been saving all these type of videos so we can refer back as needed, along the way. Take care!
@@DreamyDawnASMR1 I thought someone explained it on another video and they said if a video is edited you can post it. I did with one of my videos but I deleted the old one.
I didn't get this in my notifications but i always get my notifications. I checked my bell notification and its set to all. I noticed you had a community post 6 hrs ago and a video yesterday but within the 24 hrs. I suppose i didnt get your video notification bc you posted more than 3x in the last 24 hrs. Glad i saw this video on my home page
Starting a new channel is similar to playing old school minesweeper. For some reason you have fun playing it, but really have no idea and have no clue what you’re doing. You might have some success, but have some mistakes, but still no idea as to the reason why. Once you learn, you not only learn what helps you grow, but what could also lead to negative results. Put off growing a channel for years. Finally bit the bullet and started. I appreciate all the tips you guys offer here. It’s come with joy and headaches, but I’m learning everyday, and finding other likeminded individuals. Every time I feel like I’m not doing well, one of these videos pops up and I can see the growth I’ve had in that time. Nice little boost of re-encouragement lol. Best of luck to all my fellow creators and soon to be UA-cam superstars 👍🏼
I can relate to your saying "I can see the growth I've had..." I purposely keep those early, jittery videos I made (before I knew creators used camera stands, lighting, tripods, backdrops, and shot top-down) when I started so that others can see where I began and hopefully gain the confidence to just jump in where they are now and build on that. Making videos you know peeps will see and judge makes you nervous, but those nerves calm down quite a bit with practice. And the growth does come.
@@annheatherton yea I’ve only been going for a few months, but I really like looking back at some of my old videos and seeing the the progress in multiple areas. Best of luck on future growth!
I just started my channel and wow averaging like 20 views per video is discouraging. But your video gave me hope! So much to learn. To all the new content creators out there, don't give up!
You are right i straight upload 4 videos per day for 6 month and from February 15 my channel starts falling i was so confused. But now i understand why my channel is down 😖😖😖
Haaba, 4 videos per day for 6months is too much for me to be subscribed to such a channel.i think as a beginner,if you uploaded 4 videos per day, the minimum must be for 2 or 3 weeks then you minimize the uploads. We all hate our feeds to be spammed 😂
I’m wondering if UA-cam promotes videos from channels that were created not so long ago (less than 2 months ago) Is there something like that or not? Just genuinely interesting
They don't do that. Trust me. I just added a second channel .it was just as difficult to get any traction with the new as it was with the original in the beginning. As a new channel you need to post more frequently. Definitely get a style for your thumbnail. It also has helped me to share these videos far and wide on other platforms
It is a struggle I'm not going to lie. I have seen my channel grow, and then watch as I lose subs, gain subs, lose, etc. It seems to be stagnant. I feel I have a lot of creativity to put out there, but I'm not sure anymore where to channel it. I'm going to keep going....one day i'll get it.
Great video. Reminds me of ASMR channels - I’ve been watching it for years (helps me sleep). But it’s so big and so so many people realease the same boring content. You can clearly see the difference in the people who want to be there and those who have jumped onto a cash cow.
Would you say as a Gaming Channel who focuses on No Hit Bossfights, Challenge Runs ect, should i Upload like everyday or every Second day because it doesnt take That much time but i always think that its to much but on the other Hand, i tried posting once or Twice a week for a while and it didnt worked either
Just recently gotten back into making UA-cam content, trying to find a good balancing act of just making stuff as well as learning about how UA-cam works and things to think about to improve the stuff I'm making.
Gotta celebrate the small victories - I'm still very green and learning, but proud of myself for having 68 subscribers. We'll all get there eventually if we keep at it and keep learning ❤
Keep going on your adventure when creating a channel, don't be discouraged, sometimes you will want to stop and leave everything but ask yourself how far you really want to go and if it is time to leave what you started or is it time to gain momentum and continue growing. Greetings and good luck. ❤❤❤
I will say this, the key to achieving anything is all about you and how you choose to do. I started my channel back in 2013 and posted one video, and gave up on youtube to focus on my Instagram instead. Short story I gained about 100k followers, and i lost a bunch, lol. However, about a year ago, I decided to post on youtube. To be honest, I gained about 4k subscribers in 8 months, and I am at 5k subscribers. The truth I posted 3 to 4 times a week, and sometimes I don't due to not having time. So everyone is telling about their story. The only story that matters is yours. In the end, what works for others may not work for you. Keep doing you, and it will pay off as long as you don't give up, like I did, because I could have had the same amount of subscribers or even more just like my Instagram page 😊🙏.
Yeah and that’s really the truth. You uploading 100 times a day or once every eight months doesn’t matter. These videos are likened to hats that are size S/M. You can’t possibly expect everyone to fit a hat with slash sizes the same way. Keep doing what you can. Be patient and you will grow. This UA-camr grew as did others but times were different. Now the algorithm really controls a lot and that naturally takes time! Before following this generic advice check to see how long this person has been on UA-cam. You’ll find most UA-camrs who have hit the millions have been on for 8-10 years plus. It just takes time!
@themedi-relaxsssp173 Sorry about the late answer. To be honest, I was making a good amount of money on IG, from doing to commissions from $100 to $1,000 per painting, selling art, customized shoes, and getting paid from reels. And still do, though, other than IG stop paying for reels anymore.

I agree. It's much easier for me to pump out three videos a week with the help of my editor because I do gaming videos. My other channel is food reviews which I was only able to do one video a week. It's trial and error. Like I learned the hard way.. Don't pump out youtube shorts! Literally killed my views on my long form content.
Unrivaled passion is the fuel I run on! When thinking of creative ideas I often revisit the question, "What do you want to be known for in this space."... that's become a pretty nice starting point. 😊😊
This was a much needed video, as I have consumed every piece of advice in sight, good or bad, so thanks for addressing this, especially as a trusted source!
The best tip I've gotten from you guys is to pump a related vid at the end instead of the "like, comment, sub, etc." It's obvious to do yet I never thought of it lol! Thanks.
Are you sure it matters a lot? I've been doing it for a while and eventually stopped, because it was attracting like 1-3% additional views, not more than that. Maybe it works better on long-form videos. On shorts nobody seems to click on that. Of course, content type and audience matters. Maybe it's different for everyone. I decided that I care more about the additional line of text blocking the actual video than the couple percent of clicks it will gain.
No clue, I haven't uploaded anything with that change yet 🤔. It just makes logical sense to me, like suggestive selling. Also, it probably depends on your niche.
E federations are a virtual wrestling company that in essence is supposed to imitate what you see on the big channels but lately it’s been an absolute weirdo pool … I’m hoping to copyright trademark a few things and make this genre a legitimate form but I need to get monetize.. 3000 hours it’s rough because my last year’s videos watch hours are deleted so keeping up with the Kardashians is kind of the trend

The best advise is do the best video you can.
Your channel consistency is amazing, I think with this pace you will reach a lot more
I think his advise is good. As posting daily is not that possible unless you spend whole month a year for production and then use it for a year.
The best maybe do not force yourself to be a UA-camr but just treat it as an hobby
Hello Liza
I have the same problem in my other channel 😭
Things I have noticed about algorithm.
1. Algorithm will push your videos to number of viewers.
2. After that, youtube will calculate your retention, watch time, likes and engagement.
3. Once your video fulfils certain number, algorithm will find set of viewers again and same step repeat the item
Number 1.
@@BibleHarbour that makes sense
I concur. Very well summarised.
Congrats...amazing jus in a yr...

I really haven’t been doing this long at all and I don’t have many subscribers but I’m confident I’ll get there off of good vibes and putting in the work
@@T33nugh how its going

I‘m having a small retro gaming handheld related channel on UA-cam.
What i‘ve learned from my time creating content is that not all advices work for every niche. It‘s very much dependent and you need to try technics to see if they work out for you.
Here‘s my top 3:
Thank you
Thank you for the info, beginners here
I agree the advice given is so basic on these channels but the niche is important. Having a gaming channel isn't the same audience as a cooking channel. The viewers are different ages and demographics.
Thanks👍
helpful thank you.
Did you notice an increase in your numbers with that experiment? Or was posting everyday not really worth it in the long run?
@@Fox-and-Bear-React Simply putting more content out there helped my numbers immensely! Views and subscribers (not watch time because the daily video were shorts!) after almost a full year of posting daily, I don’t know if it’s the right answer. Watching the algorithm “bless” certain videos in a predictable periodic cycle, I would say post 2-4 each week at the max. More than that and the algorithm doesn’t have enough time to full send out and promote each video. I needed to do daily videos because of how much content there was to get out there, but for my new series, I am posting way less.
@@kirkmangaming super valuable, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the advice. I'm at the point where I'm finally going to be able to monetize my channel. I've had my channel since 2006
and I used to post my music on my channel way back then but then went well over a decade without adding any content to it. Last

from my music I got to the point where I gave up. Now I'm back at it and having a blast and I finally feel like I have a new hobby that
I'm falling in love with outside of making music and gaming!
If I do a Livestream which gets no views will it effect my decent videos ? Should I go live then delete after ?
I need some major advice. My biggest video had over 400k views. I can’t monetise it because it has four different instances of copyright protected content found. The video still gets about 150 views daily. It’s a documentary style video where j make commentary on a singer. If I dispute these four claims under fair use and lose, is there a big risk I’ll lose my whole channel????
No, you just won't be able to monetise that video
I’ve heard people say that when they disputed the claims and lost they got a copyright strike. I would research it more before disputing.
@@guanciottaman it’s frustrating because Ive multiple other videos that follow the same format and received no copyright problems, yet the potentially most lucrative does 💀
Pretty sure you’ll just get a strike. Avoid those at all costs.
You’ll get a strike…but it falls off after 90 days. So if I was you I was file the dispute unless I have a bunch of other stuff that is likely to get a strike. The risk-vs-reward seems to be in favor of filing the dispute.

The creating part is still fun 👌💖 goodluck and happy creating to all small youtubers like me 👍
Same! I love just growing as an editor and creating something! Good luck!
How you do your thrumbnail ?
Just joined UA-cam . Looking forward to the growth. 🎉
Me too! Having a fun time while doing it! Good luck! 🎉
Me too, I already know it will take time but we'll make it one day 😃
A tip of my own as a youtuber with only 4 subs, i found out a revolutionary thing that will get your youtube channel popular and its to be yourself. I sat down and made a minecraft video yesterday and decided to act like how i do in real life and guess what, the video was amazing, so just do what you enjoy and act like a human and less like a star!
Okkk
I’ll take that advice
How's it going 5 months on?
@@nathanhassallpoetry 255 subs
@@Spazmoticidiotic nice, growing and growing.
Started my channel 3 days ago and am pumped and excited to see it growing day to day....thank for the encouragement and tips❤
Same. Started few days ago
Good luck to all of you guys
You started few days and here you are with 100+ followers. How did you do it?

What's the highest duration for a real
@@The_UnknownKing-BlimpBosses Yea i have shorts like one gets 7K view another about 400 then in next day that video get 13K views

Preach it! Doing it my way... the quality way.
You're saving the UA-camrs. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you. 😄
True , just keep going you got this
If you're reading this, I hope your channel thrives! Keep pushing and don’t give up
@vidIQ I have a question.
@@amudjoletto thanks I will try it

Don’t give up I never thought we would have made it no where near this far! 🙏
The tip, regarding templates, is definitely a good one.
And creating a channel based around your own interests and personal knowledge is very important.
I'm currently working on starting my first UA-cam channel, and appreciate your tips from personal experience.
Definitely agreed with this!
Take care!

If i make a compilation of my shorts into a longform video be seen as reposting and spam?
I don't know, I'm thinking about that also myself, but not sure
@@DreamyDawnASMR1 I thought someone explained it on another video and they said if a video is edited you can post it. I did with one of my videos but I deleted the old one.

@@happycorn3r Done what?
Hey what’s up bro! Lol funny seeing you here
@@ThePlatinumWav3 funny seeing you here 🫡😂
I can relate to your saying "I can see the growth I've had..." I purposely keep those early, jittery videos I made (before I knew creators used camera stands, lighting, tripods, backdrops, and shot top-down) when I started so that others can see where I began and hopefully gain the confidence to just jump in where they are now and build on that.
@@amudjolettotry it i download videos from tik tok and youtube then upload with small edit then done

That's it 🎉
Cool 🫶🏼
Yep ❤
I’m wondering if UA-cam promotes videos from channels that were created not so long ago (less than 2 months ago)
Is there something like that or not?
The best thing in this video is it doesn't have a sound background.
Thanks, VidIQ. I've learnt a lot from you!
Done is better than perfect. That‘s it. Thanks a lot! Was fighting with myself for a long time and now finally started my Travel VLOG channel ❤
Great inputs for newcomers on UA-cam who have recently started their channel or are yet to do so.
We'll get there eventually x Keep uploading your videos, do not give up x
Keep going on your adventure when creating a channel, don't be discouraged, sometimes you will want to stop and leave everything but ask yourself how far you really want to go and if it is time to leave what you started or is it time to gain momentum and continue growing. Greetings and good luck. ❤❤❤
Thank you.. I subbed. ❤
You are right..
Very helpful! I went down to 2-3 uploads instead of daily but this is all soo good. I didn’t think about the template project.. def going to try.
How much did you make on Instagram? 😊
You are so right!

E federations are a virtual wrestling company that in essence is supposed to imitate what you see on the big channels but lately it’s been an absolute weirdo pool …
I’m hoping to copyright trademark a few things and make this genre a legitimate form but I need to get monetize.. 3000 hours it’s rough because my last year’s videos watch hours are deleted so keeping up with the Kardashians is kind of the trend
