Never ceases to amaze the master plan to encode all this elaborate and intricate structure is within each and ever cell, regardless of how much of that plan they actually take part in or how long or short its lifespan.
As a gardener, I use the plants comensil organisms to help prevent plant disease! And make my indoor plants grow better since they don’t constantly get them traded from the rain! You can culture many of them yourself using natural farming techniques!
Fairly well done video.. I gotta say one thing i've always loved about biology is how we mix things up a little with mainly leaning on latin and latinized words and phrasings, but still sometimes there's some street-cred style stuff too like the peyer's patches, islets of langerhans or hasner's valve.. it just kinda sounds funny to me..
Thank you for another wonderful video, Dave. I have MUCH of your stuff yet to watch. But the latest series on immune systems, drugs, viruses and much more are SO needed right now. I have passed links to many of your vids to several people who NEED to watch them. I dunno if they do watch them but I tried.
Curious: my mom and I were talking about celiac disease, which one of my half-brothers has, and due to some recent tests I had at an emergency room visit, the possibility of myself having it came up. Then, she asked another of my brothers and he said that they determined that the celiac came from my step-mom's side. I wondered how they determined this. Figured it must've been some kind of genetic test, obviously. So then my mom sends me this: "The two genes most closely linked to celiac disease are HLA-DQ2 and HLA-DQ8. Nearly everyone who is diagnosed with celiac disease carries at least one of these two genes that they inherited from their mother or father." This had me wondering, what kinds of studies are done to make these kinds of correlations between genes and genetic diseases? Wasn't sure if you've done a video on this already.

Hello. I would really like some advice regarding the Covid vaccine. I have already got the first shot from the Pfizer brand and was just informed that my second shot will be from the Moderna brand. Is this really okay? There is so much conflicting information. I already spent the majority of the day trying to figure it out. Additional, there are entire countries that does not recognized the Modern as a viable vaccine. And I just have to assume there has to be a good reason for this? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
This is why I don't 'disinfect' everything. Our skin has an army and your army needs regular exercise. Anti-bacterial products just decimate your own bacterial army along with most of everything else. Mild soap is enough, unless something nasty is out of control
@@rickkwitkoski1976 there are some long podcasts and things like that, making you have to sift through hours of unrelated talk. I just like the way he explains things, and these religions do contradict science, so it's even related
Didn't come across this in school. That's why I love science channels - never too old to learn.
What school? High school? You would never encounter this in high school. This is minimally second year college level stuff.

Keep it up Dave! you know we love you

Thanks Dave, glad to see your still at it, you do a great job keep up the good work.

Thank you for thinking of women in this video. I am a subscriber I save many of your videos for my child and frandchildren. Thank you so much.
Thank you for making science content.
To all you educators on UA-cam...never stop
Great lecture
thanks man, this helped me pass my science test.
That's some incredible timing.
It helped me get my PhD
Right to the point without unnecessary external gimmicks. Fantastic!
Why didn’t I learn this in College? Fascinating!

I'm building hype for the Complement System soon...
Researchers are looking into compromised epithelial barriers in digestion, resulting in inflammation in the body.
good information and easy to know ..
Was waiting for this! Thank you ❤️
Hello Mr. David, I hope you will answer my question why there is no T helper in viral infection and there are Tcytotoxic cells perasnt
I see, the human immune system is so complex, just like us Martians. Love from planet Mars ❤
Us Jupitarians have found getting more stupider to be to boring so watching your videos are helpful. Love from Jupiter 🖖🏾👨🏾🔬

But commensals will break the book down and it will be expelled because of the peristaltic motion

I'm so damn hyped about the Dr. Berg debunk videos!

Are defensins more related to the compliment system or antibodies?
sir please make videos related to iit-jee and neet , your way of teaching is very unique
Great video, keep up the good work.
Quite interesting!
Hey Dave
Could you please do the refutation of Dr. Berg as soon as possible
How important do you think is the role of comensals in preventing symptomatic covid infection?
I would not imagine very important as they are primarily in the gut and COVID is a respiratory disease, but I don't actually know and could be wrong.
fascinating
Dear professor gains explains, should I take the vaccine?
Good sir
great
Hey I was wondering if you have any merch?
Yep, check my store tab!
how tf u know everything bout everything ??????
Hey Dave, will you debunk planet x and skywatch media news please?
Hey professor Dave.I want to ask do you have everything you talk about in your memory or you cram before making videos?
He has a script, but mostly, he speaks from memory
I did not write these immunology scripts.

How do we know all of this, yet have such poor methods of testing these things in humans?
Poor methods of testing what?

There are plenty of other people who have and are doing such types of videos. Dave is good at what he does... SCIENCE!
