This is outstanding. Best presentation and most helpful vid on the ankle I’ve found yet. The others are FAR too word salad detailed on planes and angles while this shows almost immediately the same information just with visualized movement. Thanks!
Went to an podiatrist & after several visits the doctor still wasn't sure what was wrong. After watching your video I knew exactly what was wrong. Thank you so much
Seriously I have a test tomorrow and this really helped break everything down in a simple manner I really like the way things were explained and visualized

Please more videos because your illustrations are on point and easy to understand. Trying to find out where to massage and how/what to massage in relation to my rolled ankle. Thank you for your work
Dr.Randale - your animations on anatomy is really good and your voice over with structured and systematic approach of explaining the functioning and mentioning important parts involved during motion makes it a complete work.I bet you must have studied hard to explain it with such simplicity . Bravo! ❤️🙏🙂. Loved your work .
Excellent. Thank you. This video helps me understand all the pain and suffering have endured for 39 years. Including hospitalization for 4-5 blood clots in the calf of my leg, and an operation on my knee because the tension and ligaments at hat end were wearing out and stretched beyond limit if I walked. A nightmare of pain and suffering because walking is more than a discomfort to me , it is a death sentence. Isolation most of the time sitting the result.
Fantastic. I had trimaleolar injury and have stiffness of the foot, this is so clear that I understood in 2 minutes which muscles I need to workout 🤩 THANKS so much for the animation
I have PLEOMORPHIC Lyposacoma ( cancer Tumour) on my right ankle. It started showing as a small lump that hurt when I put shoes on. And grew quickly to size of an apple. I had a MRI a biopsy. 25 Radiation treatments. To shrink the lump. I go for surgery next week and told by my surgeon that the tumour has grown around my Achilles Tendon which I will lose Along with other bits and pieces. 😩 I am not afraid of the surgery. But the recovery and worry that I won’t walk well again. This has happened over the last 4 months. Thank you for this video it explains a lot. This is my 2nd cancer. And I’m 73 yrs old. ☹️😞
Extremely helpful! Just seeing this helped me get a better idea of exactly what can be wrong with my foot. I at least know how I plan to massage it now! I also plan to stretch my foot out for to help loosen it and get things back to where they should be.

Thank you for your contribution to the system.
A layman's perspective if I may. Very interesting and well explained. Sixteen years ago I had an accessory navicular bone removed in my right foot. I believe it was done via the Kitchener method (spelling?). I haven't looked back since, a total success.
The video is good for students that wants to learn names. This was all about names, lots of them. How the ankle works, various problems - almost nothing.
I've gained a new appreciation for my feet. Also, what's the differences between arched/flat feet? The advantages of each, the disadvantages? That's something I've been curious about for quite a while.
If you have flat feet, you won't be able to stand for long. Jumping from heights won't give you that upward spring motion making it more susceptible to fractures.
@@eggrollsoup Oh yeah? Not gonna explain it huh? You are not going to explain the answer to my question huh? ... It's all good chief, just messing around.
Best foot 🦶🏻 forward in this brief tutorial on the miracle that is the human tarsus and related components. The first metatarsal to medial cuneiform joint is the problem with bunions on feet it allows the metatarsal bone to rotate out of the vertical plain and splay away from its proper alignment.
Hey there... I love your videos .. you make them so interesting and easy to learn ... U are such an inspiration ... And inspired by I also tried to make study interesting by making videos on 3d digitals.... I am a surgeon and this way I can memorise things easier
I learnt more in these 8 minutes than reading my textbook for 2 hours! Thank you so much!
Uh you just exposed yourself if you had actually paid attention while reading than this video cannot compare from how you learn from a book
Well explained Dr.

thank you very much.... so clear and very instructive!
Thank you so much for such an easy to (brain-)catch and understandable insight into this part of anatomy. A preceious contribution.
Watching the complexity of all this makes it very clear someone designed all this; we are definitely created beings.
Then there are videos that call the parts of the human body “design disaster”.
Screw them.
Excellent. Clear and concise.
