- This week I got to play the latest build of Planet Coaster 2, and in this I looked at all the new coasters, flat rides and transport rides in the game!

also way more gerstlauers we need (bobsled, family coaster, inverted infinity, spinning coaster)
I hope that they'll (At some point) give us a barebones chassis for each train so we can completely theme them / build the ride vehicles from the ground up. Just give me a steel plate with some seats and restraints bolted to it and let me have at it.

Fun fact: Kingdom Isle for the PTC trains is actually a reference to the beast, it’s a small Easter egg as the beast was made by Kings Island themselves in house.

I have a feeling they've still yet to reveal some ride types. I wouldn't be surprised to also see a powered coaster introduced, and a small single-rail like a Raptor or Hot Racer.

Fun fact: the antique water coaster is actually inspired by the big timber log ride at enchanted forest in Oregon, the reason for this is because it has a piece of track that resembles a roller coaster and uses gravity, therefore classifying roller coaster

I believe that "Movement Construction" is in reference to Dynamic Attractions who built Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland.
I believe arrow dynamics was the manufacturer for that coaster :)

I noticed the Iron Horse is made by K. H. Norter, this is a reference to H. K. Porter, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based firm that built railway locomotives from 1866 until 1950. They mostly built smaller locomotives more suited for switching or industrial work (the "locomotive" on the Mine Train is the kind of engines they usually made), although they did build a fair few mainline engines including those similar to the Iron Horse design as well...

I would love to see them add the Vekoma Family Boomerang model, as well as adding an old school Premier launched coaster to make rides such as Flight of Fear or Mr. Freeze.

Honestly the tracked ride and flat ride selections are my favorite things about the new game. I prefer to build small family parks, so the new rides are going to be so useful. The kiddie train and elevated peoplemover are two of my most wanted ride types, and I didn’t even consider that they might be in the game!

For me not having new gen intamins, vekoma, premier rides, or single rail raptor is a big miss if it doesn’t make it in launch. I get needing things for dlc but these are current popular models and not having them feels very weird.
The single rail!!! Its the only coaster i was hoping for. The 2 seat single rail coaster i haven't even seen in real life. I was so so so sooooo hoping for the 1 seat single rail like wonder woman at six flags magic mountain or stunt pilot at silverwood. The SRC in planco 1 is slow, and the rail is way to large.
I thought for sure this would be in the new game.
They have the premier rides. We only played the alpha so more stuff will be added before launch.
I dont see them adding this before launch. They put the same one in as planco. Maybe a dlc but i don't see that either. They have a single rail and that's probably good enough.

Great videos! You picked up the game much faster than I did during my session. I’m hoping they expand the number of coasters with the switch track and fingers crossed we can get transfer tracks at some point.

Arrow never built any of the Boomerangs, they are all from Vekoma.
Basically back in the day Arrow teached Vekoma how to build coasters in their style and how the Track is made, Vekoma was then allowed to sell these coasters on the European market, but they had to buy the Trains from Arrow. That´s why all the very early Vekoma Loopers have or had Arrow Trains. With later models like the Junior Coaster or even the SLC Vekoma could built their own trains, the more modern, rounded trains are Vekoma made and where AFAIK only introduced after Arrow closed down.

There are all the B&ms in the game from PlanCo 1 which is great, and they're accurate to real life also :)

The mine train isn't a Vekoma. It's actually based on Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain manufactured by Dynamic Attractions
Edit: Also, the Kingdom Isle wooden coaster is not a PTC coaster. It's based on Kings Island's Beast
It's close enough to the Vekoma ones but cool to see a different manufacturer also. The beast is a PTC also, or at least runs ptc trains :)

I was skeptical about an Intamin blitz, but after seeing almost all the requested models get made I’m way less skeptical. Frontier really went all out with the new coasters. I’ve already pre-ordered it and i can’t wait to get to play it!

Ahh man the only coaster i was hoping for was the single rail. But they added the same 2 seater single rail from planco. They still didnt fix it or add the single seat single rail coaster.
This coaster will probably get added later :)
In real life, before vekoma a had their own trains, they bought trains from arrow so that’s why they use arrow trains in the game

I have a video idea! Could you give us tips and tricks on how to structure and organise the general layout of a water park so it doesn’t look like a chaotic mess. However it would have some logical flow (in terms of zoning) and have aesthetic beauty to it when seen from above. Thank you 😊
I'll have to use the water park builder a lot first haha, but definitely look at some real life examples to help with this! :)
I sure hope that we can still get the deluxe version, including the 3 bonus rides on the right later on. I still need to get a new pc or laptop first. I also don't care for pre-orders. I've been burned enough, not to do take those chances again.

Valais & Nidwalden is really cool for Bolliger & Mabillard because Valais and Nidwalden areb both Swiss cantons! (Swiss states so to say)

I have my first project I already know I want to do when it releases. I’ve always thought a B&M Surf coaster based on the hoverboards from Back To The Future pt II would be really cool and I can’t wait to work on that.

Does the Maurer Spinning Coaster have any special track pieces? There are two Maurer Spinning Coasters in reallife in Phantasialand called Winjas Fear and Winjas Force with two different tilttracks, a kind of droptrack and an elevator with a tilttrack. It would be awesome if these elements are in the game.
It just looked like the standard one from PlanCo 1. Would be cool if we got this later :)
Digital dan said that he saw in the gameplay teaser that was done live that there was a Beyond vertical launch coaster or smthn. Does anyone know what that’s all about?

i wish there was a “kid allowed” and/or “adults & teens recommend”, so we have more opportunities for kids to ride rollercoasters
They do have this for some rides, but I do wish it was dictated by the ride layout she it's forces rather than the type of coaster :)
we could make custom "rides" by attaching bits to existing rides

It's a good start for sure, but nothing too exciting as far as new coaster models go. I was really hoping we'd get generic versions of the PC1 coasters, but sadly it looks like they just ported them over
I would say that the new ones are really exciting! But I still feel there is more to be added. And the ported coaster have had work done to them also, and I'd rather not loose them :)
Still hoping for an extreme mack spinner and a flying vekoma 🤞

The Intamin one pretty much already is this. I'm sure we will get a big dark ride reveal soon :)
Theres a lack of wooden coasters, and sadly, it seems like they will be in the delux dlc :(
Including the ones from the deluxe DLC, we have all the ones from Planet Coaster 1 :)
@@CorvusCoasters I completely glossed over the PTC and GCI woodies 🤦♂️ I guess there aren't as many different wood coasters as steel so they can only do so many, but it would be nice to have the track and train variations.
INSANE that a Mack extreme spinner isn't in the game yet....should've been in the first one....I mean at least give us a launch variant AT MINIMUM....

its good to see more tracked rides in the game, hopefully the steam railway will have both engines - i prefer the Connie over the Iron Horse.

I personally feel the Iron Horse is the superior model, but agreed I hope both will be there! I would really like to be able to have multiple trains on the steam railway, as in having one Iron Horse train and one Connie Express train on the same railway...
7:03 some of the rides are missing
Including Horror Heights (Tower Of Terror)! I love that one. Hopefully, we get more flat rides, and water rides when the game comes out. And if Horror Heights does return, I'm hoping for more customization including creating our own drop sequence.

I assume so but I never tested this, I don't think this variant had a lift :)

Alr Frontier, you've done a load for the water parks, lock in an add some more Vekoma stuff in the dlc PLEASE(and an intamin blitz)

@@CorvusCoasters yeah true, i really hope we get an intamin blitz. I really hope they add a more generic zero car to the new gen vekoma, then it would be perfect. Also, another idea I just though of, tell me it wouldn’t be so sick that if we managed to get swing launches on a intamin blitz we could then have the option to choose the banking when entering the switch tracks, cus rn it seems a little limiting with no option to bank them in my opinion
Disappointed to see not one of the trackless dark rides made the cut, I want to build more than just roller coasters & water slides
There were actually no dark rides in this build of the game, which makes me think there is going to be some big reveal for these, perhaps in the next deep dive! :)
@@CorvusCoastersthinking about it I’d quite like a dark ride dlc pretty early on. A dlc including trackless, boat, robot arm, tower of terror, maybe even madhouse or flying theatre as well as a whole range of dark ride props a bit like the studios dlc
I hope we get a Gerstlauer Infinity/Mack Stryker with articulated trains. The ones in the game now look way too stiff with 8 person cars.

Since I use Steam, what worries me is that if I can't pre-order I'll be locked out of the three pre-order rides for good
They could add them later in the games life who knows :)

do you know if we can modify the length/bank/turn etc in the switch track? because one of my project would be to do toutatis at parc asterix. Thanks if you answer!
I don't think you for the actual exit track piece but you can right after. But this isn't the correct style of switch track for a Toutatis recreation, this one stops and changes your direction and it doesn't allow for rollbacks. Maybe if we get an Intamin Blitz model we could be able to do this with a different type of switch track :)

They only all seemed to be in this list page yeah, the in-game blueprints were listed at the bottom like normal though :)

It looks more cartoony than PC1. Does it feel that way in game play?
I didn't think it did, feels great to play. I think it's just the quality of the recording we were given and that it had the depth of field effect on by default which I later disabled :)
@@CorvusCoasters ahhhh that makes sense. I think the steel coasters look fairly normal but the wooden coasters seen cartoony to me but wasn’t sure if that is down to some of the videos I’ve seen being recorded from console rather than PC. I’d like to see a more finished paint feel to steel coasters this time round. They would look more realistic with a shine, they look matt in PC1 with fade marks

I'm gonna buy the deluxe edition, but I'm not gonna be happy about it. why are they locking stuff from the first game behind a pay wall?
It's only one content pack, there are loads of DLC coasters from the first game that are already included in this one. And I'm sure loads more to be announced also :)

No it comes out on November 6th. You get extra content if you pre-order though.
The game launches for everyone on the same day, if you preorder you just get the preorder bonus :)

I didn't look actually, I'd assume the game would have them, if not now then definitely at launch :)
@@CorvusCoasters Thanks! Heres hoping they revamped them, the current games rapids elements are almost pointless! Also holding out for some sort of functional parking lot, but doubt that'll be in there.

Yes! So much easier to smooth and the new camera works helps also :)
