Dan is seriously underrated as a content creator, he's the only theme park channel that actually makes me laugh, and the dude barely leaves his bedroom, and when he is on location, it's always top shelf, must watch. Keep it up Dan
I would really like to see them do a retro/nostalgic area of the park and create new versions of Jaws, ET, Back To The Future, Ghostbusters, Kongfrontation etc. I think this would really make Universal GB different and not cannibalise the Florida tourism market, whilst also attracting American tourists across to the UK.
I think a James Bond area would be great with a multi sensory coaster, like at Ferrari world in Dubai, & then a stunt show too! I'd also love an area based around London stories, like Sweeney Todd & Sherlock Holmes etc. Could look like a really cool set!
I have always thought they have missed a trick adding a harry potter rollercoaster themed to the flying ford anglia from the second film either as a dark ride like the forbidden journey or as a rollercoaster with launches similar to hagrids which ends with you getting caught by the whomping willow would make an amazing attraction.
Hahaha nice. Also all this Bedford slander I shall not have it, as one slightly up from it. I will start the slander when driving anyway takes me 3 hours on a Saturday
Every now and then I just feel the need to thank Dan for the great videos. Been watching for over four years now and they're always great! Keep up the great work
Love this video Dan your amazing ❤💪! If Universal built a park in Bedford, they could go all out with UK-inspired themes. Imagine a whole section dedicated to British mythology and folklore-maybe a dark ride based on *King Arthur* with animatronic dragons and a journey to Avalon. *Wallace and grommet woodie* That’s all there is to be said Another must-have could be a *Doctor Who* experience, where you board the TARDIS and travel through time and space, meeting famous historical figures and facing off against iconic villains like the Daleks and Cybermen. For a thrilling coaster, they could create something themed around *Sherlock Holmes* , where you’re racing through the streets of London in pursuit of Moriarty. The whole park could have cobblestone streets, Victorian architecture, and sections that represent different parts of the UK-like a mini London, a magical Scottish Highlands, or a whimsical countryside. The potential for unique attractions that blend British culture, history, and fiction.
I like it but not sure how much appeal it has across Europe & USA, they’ll want to draw in guests from there, especially Europe, I don’t think it would be specifically UK IPs they’d pick
I'm not certain that Potter would be part of the park as the studio tour is nearby as well, unless they perhaps collaborate and work out some kind of deal.
Personally I hope the celestial park type hub area really reflects englands culture and is more of a city centre feel with a James Bond launched coaster going through the town, a Paddington dark ride for kids and other iconic British things that will satisfy tourists because they are British and brits because they like that stuff lol.
I would love to see a Hill Valley area from BTTF. Back To the Future is an IP Universal have really slept on but it is immensely popular in the UK. I would love to Walk Through Hill Valley, Buy a Pepsi Perfect, then get on a DeLorean Roller Coaster that goes up to 88mph.
Nintendo World (at least Donkey Kong) actually makes a lot of sense for the UK park, as the Donkey Kong Country games were made in Twycross, Leicestershire.
I hope they make the new land based on how to train a dragon. They could easily have an epic winged coaster, a junior winged coaster, and 2-3 other tummy turning flat rides, amazing theming, and a themed hotel. This will help to attract families with varying ages children’s so that the younger ones can go to this land while the elder ones can explore more of the park.
I'd like to see a comedy horror land with British comedy horrors, like Shawn of the dead, American Werewolf in London and Cockneys vs Zombies. I'd love to see them get a ride that's one of the worlds best.
Hi Dan, The other day we met in chessington thank you so much for letting me take a photo with you in front of the bird walk😂😂😂 love ur videos and keep it up 🎉
I’d guess that there’d be a Paddington dark ride. Also, Universal released a general layout of the resort a few months back and it said the park would be on the lower half of the plot of land, not the upper half that you had pictured.
From Bedford here, i still think it’s mad that this shit could happen but lots of stuff in Bedford is going to need upgrading if this happens, so it’s gonna take quite a while
It's still mad that Universal is seriously considering building a major theme park in Bedford, their 1st in Europe. A lot of thought went into the proposal regarding upgrading traffic links that they released a few months ago and I think they'll be revisions. A film studio is preparing to build a massive film studio right next door to the Universal site. That area is gonna be Hella busy when all that is built.
I think a Paddington themed kids area is a high contender, with the third film about to release and Universal's history of adapting media 10 years after it's relevant, Paddington makes a great pick for flourishing out availability for younger guests and giving international guests a slice of British culture.
Given that Warner Bros. (already rumoured to be involved via LotR) are positioning the Watford studios as the primary DC Studios production hub, if the planned film relaunch is successful, I can see them gunning for a DC Comics/Gotham themed area in the park. The only fully immersive, intricately themed DC representation in the world is in the WB Abu Dhabi park, so I think it makes sense that they’d be interested in branching out to a major UK park, where they’re not tied down by a crappy Six Flags contract.
The one area you haven't tackled yet should go there; Hollywood or the British version of that, I'd combine it with the transformers area and the stunt show area (which would be moved over from where it is) plus another ride based on King Kong/Godzilla as well as a 2nd ride based off let's say just Revenge of the Mummy (alsoifthere'sspaceaddJawstheride). This would also be the area where you get the scare mazes for Halloween as well which could make it a good addition to the park.
I’ve heard people talking about a Dr Who area potentially. I know Disney is working with BBC (the show is on Disney+), but they don’t necessarily have the theme park rights to it… and I think a Dr Who area would be a huge pull from abroad as the IP grows into new territories. Plus, a Dr Who dark ride and the surrounding themed area could be absolutely magnificent. Also, a Dalek themed extreme Mack spinner…????? Yes please.
It’d be even better if the ride cars were based on the Tornado locomotive just like the film, and even better if they included the LMS Crab that pulls the circus train. It’d be even more impressive it it was a dual track rollercoaster with brief screen sections.
Would love for a Munsters land or anything to do with the original universal monsters but with Wicked coming out this year I can see them banking on that IP and making a flying theatre ride like Avatar Flight of Passage but your on Elphaba's broomstick flying around OZ
Not sure about you question mark area But I see 5 absolutely no brainer rides for a Lord of the Rings themed area - a Shire based Tea-Cups because that seems appropriately Hobbit(ish)... maybe built around the Party Tree? - a drop tower based on Barad-dur with a massive Eye of Sauron at the top of it... because that will look f'n awesome - a water ride like Tidal Wave based on Arganoth and the Falls of Rauros - a dark ride based on the Mines of Moria, what exactly I'm not sure though - a version of Big Thunder Mountain from Disneyland Paris but each section is themed around a different area from LotR (Rivendell, Helms Deep, Minas Tirith and Minas Morgal... maybe finish with an underground section like Shelob's cave?)
Pattington? In that. Big question mark area it’s such a British thing and on the planning there is a section of writing about a future Paddington’s ride so that would be amazing
@@DigitalDan If you look at r/universalstudios, then you'll find some concept art for the park, and at the back of the park, there's a rollercoaster that kind of looks like Wicker Man.

In Lord of the Rings a GCI Wooden Coaster with your dark ride idea? Harry Potter World would love to see a unique version of Hadgrids Motorbike Adventure come over, aswell via IP if can get it? Have Hogwarts Express go from London Kingscross real station to Hogsmeade where Hogwarts Castle behind the lake sits on hill, with guests travelling on boats across lake to Hogwarts like the first movie? really is a good one
If they built a Paddington themed area The UK would go mental, great way to bring people to a theme park!! 👍
Since we love our dark themes in the UK, I could see a version of Dark Universe at Epic potentially making its way to this park.
Intamin blitz needs to happen
