Wow, what an amazing story of a young woman 'finding herself'' through motorcycling. Alicia, I'm a 62 year old male and you've inspired me so much! You've discovered the essence of true motorcycling. As a teenager I was inspired to ride by the cult TV series: 'Then came Bronson'. The images of a life spent on a motorcycle were indelibly printed on my mind because of that show. I knew that's what I was looking for...a sense of freedom on 2 wheels...at one with bike and nature...alone but not alone. At 17 I bought a little Honda 125 road bike, then a 380 Suzuki triple, then a 750 Suzuki triple etc etc. I had a 'soul connection' with each one. It's been 13 years since I've owned a bike, but you've inspired me to ride again. Thank you, God bless you and stay safe. Mitch
Watched this with my three year old. I tell her how the girl was the one who built that beautiful bike. Never let anyone tell you, you can't do something cause your a girl. She says to me, if I learn then you don't have to do it. She loves to help daddy in the garage. Thank you for the inspiration.
I hear you Moto Lady. My first bike saved my life from a downward spiral in my head and soul. Fifty years later and I'm still building and riding and loving it. Stunning Ducati! Obviously a labour of love. Ride on. T.
This is a moving and interesting personal story that all of us bikers can relate to at some level. Wonderful lady and I love those classic British style megaphones on the Monster. No body needs medication once they have a motorcycle, the old saying is true, you never see a motorbike parked outside a psychiatrist"s office unless it belongs to the psychiatrist!
I also have had anxiety for most of my 47 years on this earth, when I saw this video for the first time -I saw some one who was doing what they were put on this earth to do.you are a beautiful human being that has the ability to touch the souls of others, and for that I say bless you .its all in your eyes it tells what is in your soul. peace and serenity
I've been a SED therapist for nearly 25 years mostly, adolescents. It's so important to find a "thing" that distracts you from your thoughts. Too many go to chemicals which is temporary as well as potentially another problem. So happy riding works for so many of us. Ride Safe.
Thank you Alicia. Very inspiring. My autism means my brain moves so fast that it only slows down at very brief moments. I've found speed is the best therapy for slowing it down. Keep working hard, creating beautiful machines and inspiring others. All the best.
Because of Stories of Bike, it inspires me to explore more of what I can do in two wheels. I fell inlove with my bike everytime I go out for a ride. Thank you. I ride a Royal Enfield Bullet 350, in the process of becoming a bobber :)
SB.....this is THE BEST one yet! Amazing story, build, and beautiful person...with an inside more beautiful than the outside, and the outside is..........wow........
Like I have been listening myself trying to explain others what bikes and rides mean to me. Excellent video, excellent narration, excellent Alicia. Thank you!
That is ECACTLY how I feel when I ride my bike. Focused, stress free, everything else that is going on is silent and it's just you, the bike and the road. I really felt that 🤙
I love this. For anyone faced with mood disorders there is an answer for you. I have worked with people for years with these issues. Meds or self medicating is never the answer. Thus story is inspirational.
Way to go GIRL!! I suffer with service related PTSD and could relate to everything you said, Riding is a magical drug for me that gives me a spiritual lift in life. Thankyou for your story, best wishes from Australia.
Your experience and discription sooo F'n Nailed it! "Throttle not the Bottle"....don't drink, don't do drugs...I used too, to self medicate because my mind goes a thousand miles an hour like yours...can't stop it. The only thing I have found is the exact same thing. Ride. It takes everything away. You are one. After a ride, it's a new world and life seems so much more connected and enjoyable....I wish you the best!
Wonderfull, inspiring story. So encouraging! That moment you found your bike and fixed it yourself, working on it... and then ride, and ride... Amazing. Thank you
Great video. I took up motorcycling at the age of 60 and can relate to the feelings expressed in the video about riding a bike. It's therapy and joy combined :).
I am the same when I ride alone. No distractions of mind...just the road in front of me. I still enjoy the social pleasures of riding with groups of my friends... but I most enjoy riding alone or with just my Brother. We take turns 'leading' and just glide along at the pace the road seems to ask of us... Sometimes quite a hustle, and sometimes almost like a ballet dance...
Damn, she did an amazing job on that Ducati! Such a beautiful machine. And congrats to her for making her dream a reality! Truly awesome. Excellent story and excellent cinematography! Top grade for sure.👍
Awesome! every word is true. At times while riding your motorcycle you feel oneness like everything becomes your extension- the earth, sky , nature around you, the tarmac and your motorcycle. Very nice video.
Thank you for sharing your story. It helps me to recover my energy in the normal working day by remembering the passion and happiness when I was riding. You are truly inspiring people. Please keep doing it👍
Very inspiring! Very well done and articulated. I have been riding for a short time yet I still find myself forgetting to enjoy the simple things that make riding great. Thanks for the reminder.
I sure hope the fellow who gave you that bike gets to see this. To see what a wonderful gift he gave and how it continues to give. A motorcycle is not just a vehicle. It IS a powerful being, and those that get that, get it. And to those that don't, my condolences. RIDE SAFE MY FRIENDS.
Im currently trying to overcome my anxiety (and other issues) with medication, and looking for exactly the things that cause my problems. Motorcycles are the only thing that can make my brain stop overthinking and calm me down. Lately i have found out that after about an hour of riding, my anxiety takes over and i feel like i cant ride anymore. And whenever i try to ride my new bike, i get a panic attack, i just cant do it. It takes time i guess.. but it's a hard journey. Great to see someone who is doing so well!
¨-where bikes can take you¨... Specially for all of us who are dealing with some mental health disorder, who can not find a place in the world due to misconception and lack of general knowledge to deal with such a disease, bikes can take us to places that only were a far far memory of simpler or happier times, and actual places that makes us feel simple, ... and happy again, not only the riding itself but also the community attach to bikes, and the road, the freedom and the scenery.... Ride safe Everyone!!
This is SOOOO well done! I love everything about Alicia's ( +Motolady ) story and she's such an inspiration to all lady riders. Great job capturing her fire and her infectious infatuation for motos guys.
You know what....... I ride my bike all the time (a Triumph) I really enjoyed this video.. I think you are a credit to all Motorcyclists and to Ducati... Thanks for sharing this
"On a bike, you forget all the BS of life and focus on the next bend...the next corner...the next hairpin." How true! I can identify to everything you said. When you talk about your mental issues, it gave me hope on how to help my daughter. Keep doing what you are doing, Motolady
Her story is so inspiring. She really "gets" it when it comes to bikes. For me it's always been about losing myself in the moment when it comes to riding. It's like a sort of tunnel vision where all your stress and anxiety are pushed outside of that tunnel. To me it's akin to surfers who describe being in a wave, surrounded by water, "the tube". I really think Ducati should give her a 1299 Panigale R. I can't think of a better ambassador for Ducati than this woman.
Every word you said is giving inspiration.. When I feel alone my bike inspires me you aren't alone, I raid him to beach and watching sunrise and sunsets
So great that you guys are back! A fantastic episode to kick off Season 3. Love the collaboration with MotoLady, she is awesome. Cannot wait for more Stories of Bike!
So, so many emotions swirling in my head as I watched this beautiful piece of art. From the cinematography to the powerful words you unleashed, clearly, from deep within you. This is so much more than a video ... it's an experience showcasing just a some of the myriad and variegated reasons we are drawn to moto-culture like proverbial moths to a flame. Thank you for sharing your story; and thank you for sharing your strength, Alicia. We are ALL better because of it. 🙏🏾 ❤️
Great episode! Great subject!!! I remember seeing this on her blog three years ago. Glad to see it at last and looking forward to the new season. Looks to be epic!! I live just off Highway 150 in Santa Paula and spend a lot of time on 33...been riding and driving up there since the late 70s and can attest to it's special quality. If you live in So or Central Cali and never ridden it, it is well worth the ride to get there. Buffalo burgers and home made pie at The Place is your reward.
Oh man ... the cinematography is insane. It looks so good and fits the mood perfectly. Found and subbed motolady in IG, I love what she's saying and what motorcycling does for her. I feel the same way.
I've been really looking forward to the new series, but it was definitely worth the wait! We love life stories and Alicia's is a great story. Thank you for sharing your journey. Biking on the open road is so therapeutic I'm hoping my doctor might write me a prescription for a new Ducati Monster1200.
So masterfully said Alicia! This resonates with me so much Everything that was said is everything that i feel when i ride. My soul emerges to its fullest. i feel this video in ny heart and soul. Keep the shiny side up and happy trails to all you riders and bike builders 🤙💯
MotoLady - I LOVE UR BIKE!!!! You did such a great job with it, that's so inspiring, considering I'm too scared to do anything with my bike besides changing the oil! You're a rock star!
Great story that lots of riders can relate to, I am sure. These videos are inspiring, well executed, and create a high standard for motorcycle videos - more like mini film documentaries - well done!!!
What an inspiration to see such a woman fighting for her space and knowledge in a world of prejudice and adversities. Sheer display of female power of will, bravo!
I 100% agree a motorcycle is the BEST therapy ever! I don't care what kind of bike you choose it will take you to Paradise. When I ride it clears my mind of all troubles the world can muster. Life is better on 2!!!
This channel is back, the last few videos have been getting back, this one is close to my favourite to Videos of yours. Number one the lady in New york who explored on her bike at the guy riding to work who smells the bakery and when a pretty lady walks by and he can smell the her perfume. Top stuff well done
Fantastic video! I just got a serious bike for the first time recently, and was kind of lost in the power of that bike, I don’t know what I’m gonna do with that bike if I’m not riding 100+mph. This video and Moto Lady reminds me of why I got into motorcycle in the first place, I love bikes not because they can go fast, but because they are cool!

I can relate to motorcycles as therapy...I think anyone who rides can...great stories!

I hear you Moto Lady. My first bike saved my life from a downward spiral in my head and soul. Fifty years later and I'm still building and riding and loving it. Stunning Ducati! Obviously a labour of love. Ride on. T.
It’s stories like these that truly explain the brain clearing and total freedom you get from riding, top stuff.

The film quality, editing is totally amazing. Great story as well ✌🏻🇬🇧🤟🔥
".......All I ask is you love it."
That is what motorcycling is all about
I just rode across the US and have felt many of the emotions you described. Thank you for putting it into words.
Every guy that rides a bike just fell in love again
Haha! Oh why thank you, sir.
Where are all these women at
We are everywhere. Riding our own and loving it!
Alicia is awesome! Bikes are life, until you find them you'll never understand

Yes, Arun was my old boss at MotoCorsa, and he was the first person I sent this link to! Changed my life. :)
